Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Amidst the chaos of battle, a ”soldier” clad in the Demon King Army’s armor swaggered across the battlefield.

The clouds parted with more gaps, casting down more sunlight.

A beam of sunlight fell on that swaggering soldier, its unique luster shimmering on his distinctive mechanical arm.

Apart from the mechanical arm, that soldier also had two legs made of machinery.

Heavy mechanical feet landed firmly on the ground, leaving deep footprints in the pristine snow, yet emitting no sound, as if no one around noticed him.

A flash of light crossed his hand, and a remote control appeared in the soldier’s hand.

The soldier’s mechanical fingers tapped quickly on the remote control, inputting commands.

The roaring giant war chariot let out a fierce roar, its black shell shaking violently, and a massive cannon barrel sprang from the center, rapidly gathering surrounding magic power, ready to unleash a powerful strike.

Ammonval and the assisting Demon Clan cadres knew what might happen next and focused their firepower on the rising massive cannon barrel.

The soldier’s mechanical fingers danced quickly on the remote control, inputting new commands, and the colossal war chariot swallowed all the gathered magic power in one gulp instead of releasing it quickly.

In an instant, the enormous black war chariot emitted a dazzling light all over.

The soldier crushed the remote control in his hand and vanished into the crowd.

His urgent footsteps were drowned out by the tremendous explosion induced by the war chariot.

Without any warning, the giant war chariot that suddenly barged into the gray barrier transformed into a massive bomb and exploded!

The brilliant light instantly engulfed everything around, accompanied by a deafening explosion, the heat mixed with dust forming waves of shock, sweeping all around, and lifting a beautiful mushroom cloud.

Several nearby Demon Soldiers hadn’t even realized what was happening before being toppled by the powerful shock.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, also sensed the anomaly on the war chariot’s side.

Could Ammonval’s current strength really not stand against even a single war chariot? Or was there something special about that war chariot?

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, temporarily couldn’t spare the focus.

Yang Yu, extremely agile, repeatedly dissolved the attacks launched by the Deceitful Emperor, clinging to life.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, originally intended to concentrate fully on blocking Bai Jin and others’ attacks, waiting for the outcome between the Deceitful Emperor and Yang Yu.

But seemingly sensing something, the Demon King issued him new commands.

—Use his instant kill!

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, also had his own instant kill, only that this required focused preparation to execute.

He planned to continue defending against Bai Jin and their attacks while releasing the instant kill to prevent any mishaps from the Deceitful Emperor’s suppression, only for that unexpected hit by the war chariot.

”No choice. Continue executing Lord Demon King’s command.”

Piece by piece, steel fragments peeled off from the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, forming a ring of meteorites orbiting around him, like a planet surrounded by meteors.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, was disassembling bit by bit.

The reason Black Diamond Lorne carries the nickname of Iron Steel Dragon is that he can deconstruct himself to form a gigantic Steel Giant Dragon, becoming an unbreakable mobile fortress.

Of course, Black Diamond Lorne isn’t the only one who can transform into a giant dragon among the Steel Clan.

It was thanks to help from his kin that Black Diamond Lorne concealed the fact that he always followed Ammonval.

As the most powerful being in the Steel Clan, the Steel Giant Dragon that Black Diamond Lorne could transform into was the largest and most formidable.

Only... this move, like most instant kills, also has its flaws.

As more and more steel fragments peeled off, the body of the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, gradually disappeared, becoming part of the swirling steel fragments.

The Divine Artifact, Laplace, did not vanish, continuing under the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne’s control.

As long as the Divine Artifact Laplace is not retrieved, the effect of Corrosive Rust will continue to persist, leaving Yang Yu unable to recover.

Even if Yang Yu temporarily escapes the Demon King’s control, they, unable to escape the gray barrier, would soon be resolved by the Demon King.

What Black Diamond Lorne did not expect, or rather what no one expected, was a ghost shadow quietly appearing on the steel fragments that blocked Bai Jin and others’ magic attacks.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, hadn’t confirmed who that ghost shadow was before a voice, like a phantom, drilled into his ear:

”These steel fragments make quite a nice landing pad!”

The moment this voice echoed, the ghost shadow appeared behind the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne.

”This fellow belongs to me! Return what’s mine!”

The ghost shadow shouted loudly, the metallic sheen of its mechanical arm hammering toward the head of the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne.

The Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, reacted swiftly, forming a defense with the steel fragments freshly detached from his body.

However, the ghost shadow was merely feinting.

The mechanical arm of the ghost shadow brushed past the steel shield in front of the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne’s face, grabbing the Divine Artifact, Laplace.

With another movement, the ghost shadow clutched the Divine Artifact, Laplace, tightly, and kicked with both legs toward the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne’s abdomen, instantly booting him towards the spinning steel fragments.

The spinning steel fragments abruptly halted, and the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, hung in mid-air, his gaze capturing the ghost shadow that kicked him away.

The ghost shadow somersaulted in mid-air, his helmet falling from his head, casually rolling to the ground, revealing two azure ghost horns, and landed steadily, kicking up a swirl of dust.

The Divine Artifact, Laplace, fully clamped onto his arm, azure light spraying from the grooves, spreading along the mechanical arm’s patterns to every part of the mechanical glove, leaving streaks of bluish-green traces.

”Long time no see, Laplace, did you miss me!”

A smile involuntarily appeared on the ghost shadow’s face, as his fists collided, Laplace’s blue-green electric currents danced across his hand, seemingly welcoming his arrival.

Upon seeing the man’s identity, the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, was for a moment stunned.

The newcomer belonged to the Ghost Clan within the Demon Clan, a Ghost King, why would someone like this launch an attack on him, a member of the Four Heavenly Kings?

Just as the Iron Steel Dragon, Black Diamond Lorne, was puzzled, the voice of the Deceitful Emperor echoed in his ears:

”That guy is probably the goddess’ apostle who attacked me that day.

Lorne, don’t stop, transform into the Steel Giant Dragon.

Today, we must crush them all!”
