Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Several subordinates instantly lost their combat capabilities, Giant Power’s eyes widened in anger, his hand pierced by the Light Arrow, the flesh wriggled, rapidly healing at a visible speed.

”Who are you people?

Whoever you are, go to hell!”

Giant Power’s body swelled again, towering as high as a two-story villa, his hand gathered a large amount of Magic Power, releasing a brownish-yellow glow.

Ignoring the safety of his subordinates, Giant Power punched towards Qiuye, who was constantly weaving between his subordinates.

An unimaginable immense pressure surged over, and Qiuye used [Avoidance Acceleration] to dodge Giant Power’s attack.

However, the pressure generated by Giant Power’s skill could temporarily invalidate any displacement skills, making Qiuye unable to use [Avoidance Acceleration] to dodge.

Seeing that Qiuye was about to be punched into the ground, a nimble figure arrived in front of Qiuye, unfolding a Shield.

Row after row of red Spikes were neatly arranged on the Shield, as Giant Power’s fist connected with the Shield, a fierce wind whipped up dust, a red current rapidly climbed from the junction between the fist and Shield up Giant Power’s arm, piercing his heart.

”This can’t be. My full-strength blow, capable of killing several subordinates, was blocked so easily!”

Giant Power exerted force on his fist, intending to press Yang Yu into the ground.

However, Yang Yu remained standing motionless.

Qiuye had already moved away from Yang Yu, teaming up with Bai Jin to swiftly clear out the small fry subordinates of this Demon Clan cadre.

Several purple lizard people hadn’t even activated their skills to assist Giant Power in attacking when Qiuye struck them, easily depleting their Attack capabilities.

”Amazing Strength!

It wasn’t a coincidence that you blocked my blow!

You, boy, give me your name!”

Giant Power roared, secretly activating the Magic Power within his body, his target was not Yang Yu, but the children crawling out from beneath the injured men nearby.

In Giant Power’s view, Yang Yu and his team appeared here to rescue those children.

Even if it’s not a major attack, as long as it threatens the lives of those children, it’ll be enough to distract Yang Yu, allowing him to press Yang Yu into minced meat.

Though Yang Yu didn’t understand Magic nor possess the unique eyes of the Star Eyes Clan, which can see Magic Flow, he still detected Giant Power’s subtle movements through careful observation.

Yang Yu quickly guessed the true intent behind Giant Power’s actions.

Lowering his body’s center of gravity, Yang Yu kneeled slightly on the ground.

Seeing his fist advancing slightly forward, Giant Power instantly felt pleased:

Looks like I’d have to retract my previous statement; him blocking my full-strength blow just now surely involved some unknown Skill.

Now that the Skill’s effect is gone, he’s merely a spent force!

Engaging in a showdown like with bull horns, I’ll let you taste the essence of those horns!

Giant Power’s plan persisted and became more blatant.

Giant Power wanted Yang Yu to first witness the death of the ones he wished to save, then watch himself be smashed into pulp, experiencing double Despair before dying completely.

But who knew, Yang Yu lowered his body just to store energy.

The Minotaur Clan possesses great Strength, but compared to Yang Yu, who had been buffed with several layers by Iyas and himself initiated [Breaking Cauldrons and Sinking Boats], it was insignificant.

With astonishing Strength erupting from his legs, Yang Yu seized the moment when Giant Power relaxed his vigilance, and thrust the Shield upwards, lifting Giant Power’s fist, like a flash of light, using the shattered village houses as leverage, he leapt into the air, and instantly aimed the Sword Blade at the spot where Giant Power previously got injured.

A red light pierced the palm, Yang Yu’s Sword Blade drew an orange trajectory in midair, mercilessly slashing at the newly healed wound of Giant Power.

Suddenly, a torrent of crimson erupted forth.

Giant Power’s eyes widened in disbelief once again, his gaze turned grim and spiteful, he no longer played a facade, activating Magic below his feet with full force, intending to split open the earth, creating a massive fissure, making all those Yang Yu wished to protect plunge into the Abyss.

Unfortunately, from the beginning, this wasn’t a duel between him and Yang Yu, but a team versus team battle.

Standing up from Lotcar’s back, Iyas raised her hand, a large volume of Holy Light quickly gathered in her hand, transforming into a Light Spear.

With fierce momentum, she flung the Light Spear towards Giant Power, piercing through the shattered buildings, striking his body, temporarily pinning him in place.

Bai Jin seized the opportunity, channeling the Magic intended for the purple lizard people all towards Giant Power.

In the [Hall of History], Bai Jin and his team encountered numerous Demon Clan members, though not yet mastering detailed knowledge of the Demons, they understood the weaknesses of most common Demons.

The Minotaur Clan was far from rare in the previous great war.

Bai Jin and Yang Yu naturally knew where his weaknesses were.

Before Giant Power could unleash the Magic he’d prepared against the young children, he was quickly focused and attacked by Yang Yu and Bai Jin, and his Blood Bar evaporated instantly.

With unwillingness and disbelief, a massive crack appeared beneath Giant Power’s feet, his legs sank into his unfinished Skill, his body heavily crashed onto the ground, like a mountain collapsing.

The light in Giant Power’s eyes vanished completely amidst the blood-red hues.

The lizard people Demons present were momentarily shocked, with the battle with Yang Yu and his team barely begun, their leading Demon Clan cadre was effortlessly taken down by Yang Yu and his companions.

The lizard people were at a loss, neither fighting nor not fighting seemed viable.

If they fought, they were definitely no match against Yang Yu and his team. If they didn’t fight, witnessing such a dire scene, Yang Yu and his team wouldn’t let them off easily?

In the end, the lizard people reached an oddly unanimous conclusion, they shouted ”For Lord Demon King” and launched a suicidal attack towards Yang Yu.

These lizard people were only over level eighty, with average attributes not exceeding 1000, how could they compete against Yang Yu, who was over a hundred levels higher, with attributes several times theirs?

With the aid of buffs and coordinated attacks with partners, Yang Yu and his team cleared out the invading Demon Clan within a mere two or three minutes.

Even though the lizard people weren’t high-level, their attributes were reduced dimensions of the average civilians, making them a threat nonetheless.

If Yang Yu and his team hadn’t arrived in time to clear them out, a similar bloody and violent act would have likely occurred again.

The small fry from the Demon King Army came to spread fear and create panic, more than enough.

Wiping the blood off the Sword Blade, Yang Yu glanced at the Shield [Broken Cocoon Butterfly].

Following this battle, the battle points of [Broken Cocoon Butterfly] had accumulated to 5000, reaching the goal for evolving to the next stage.

The Shield emitted a faint light, about to commence evolution, but now wasn’t the time to be concerned about what [Broken Cocoon Butterfly] would transform into.

Yang Yu looked back at Lotcar and Iyas, saying: ”Lotcar, quickly run and see if any severely injured yet surviving people remain. Iyas, prepare to rescue.”
