The Unveiling of Secret Queen

So Kenzie Nabours knows about Amadeus Yancey’s background.

Amadeus Yancey is the person behind the Yandor Sect.

Not someone to mess with in Inderia.

A rather dangerous character.

However, Kenzie Nabours observed the other party and saw that they didn’t do anything bad to Nathalie Quinlan, so he pretended not to know and never mentioned it.

At this moment, when he saw Amadeus Yancey mentioning the gift from Mrs. Davidson, he already had an idea in his mind.

He hesitated for a moment and opened the box.

The box contained a brooch.

The diamond was small, but the design was quite unique.

Kenzie Nabours took a look and could tell that the Davidson Family’s gift to Nathalie Quinlan was not given much importance, but he didn’t say anything.

”This brooch is quite beautiful.” Amadeus Yancey suddenly brought up the brooch in the box, his deep eyes fixed on Mrs. Davidson: ”Is this a SEVEN brooch?”

SEVEN is considered a hot high-end brand series in Inderia recently, so it’s not too embarrassing for Mrs. Davidson to bring out something from this brand.

Mrs. Davidson had a sense of foreboding and responded sheepishly: ”Yes, I thought Nathalie would be quite suited to this brooch.”

Nathalie Quinlan raised an eyebrow, glanced at the brooch in the box, and said nothing.

Amadeus Yancey picked it up and played with it for a while before suddenly saying: ”Mrs. Davidson, I remember the SEVEN brand has an independent anti-counterfeit code...”

Everyone looked at him.

Marcella Davidson’s face darkened slightly when she heard this, and she looked at Leony Davidson and Mrs. Davidson somewhat unbelievingly.

Before he could finish speaking, Mrs. Davidson reacted strongly, seemingly very angry, and said sharply: ”Are you implying that I’m giving fake goods? Do you think our Davidson Family is the kind of people who would give fake items?”

Nathalie Quinlan also looked at the man in surprise. She could see at a glance that the brooch in the box was crafted in SEVEN’s style.

It should not be fake.

But she trusted that Amadeus Yancey wouldn’t bring things up without reason.

His mentioning of the brooch’s brand definitely had a meaning.

Indeed.

The exceedingly handsome man only smiled faintly, but his eyes seemed to penetrate hearts, as he handed the brooch to Kenzie Nabours: ”I didn’t say the brooch is fake. I meant, aside from the well-known anti-counterfeit code, SEVEN has another detail.”

”The clasp area of all their items undergoes a wax seal treatment to ensure that each design is used for the first time by the customer.”

Mrs. Davidson’s expression changed slightly, turning livid, feeling rather embarrassed.

”Don’t say it.”

But Amadeus Yancey wouldn’t stop, exposing her in front of Marcella Davidson and Kenzie Nabours: ”This brooch is indeed very beautiful, but it’s second-hand. The wax seal on the clasp of this brooch is gone, indicating someone tried it before and found it unsuitable, therefore not wearing it.”

Nicholas Fuller and the others weren’t here, but Mrs. Sullivan had something to say to Nathalie Quinlan, so she didn’t leave.

Now upon hearing Amadeus Yancey’s words, the Old Lady’s wise eyes showed clarity, smiling as she interjected, seemingly teasing, but clearly mocking Mrs. Davidson: ”I remember the Davidson Family isn’t short of money, no need to gift second-hand things. Or perhaps...”

She was tactful enough not to finish the sentence.

Sadam Vinson also laughed, in a more flamboyant manner, and casually said to Nathalie Quinlan: ”Nathalie, I remember SEVEN is under Mrs. Ingram’s brand, right? You’re one of the three shareholders; isn’t this your family’s brand?”
