The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Outside.

Nicholas Fuller was still waiting for Nathalie Quinlan to come out.

He quickly heard a series of footsteps and looked up to see the girl walking out of the laboratory.

Nicholas Fuller raised a smile on his face and greeted her, ”SUN.”

Nathalie Quinlan walked straight toward him, the corner of her eye catching sight of quite a few people in the level 8 laboratory secretly peeking in their direction.

Especially Leony Davidson.

Leony Davidson’s resentful gaze was almost glued to her through the glass.

Nathalie Quinlan pressed her cap down and nodded at Nicholas Fuller, saying, ”Let’s talk outside.”

Soon, the two walked one after the other to a remote corner where they were unlikely to be disturbed.

Nathalie Quinlan was the first to stop, turned her body slightly, and looked at Nicholas Fuller, ”Did you need something from me?”

She didn’t know why Nicholas Fuller had suddenly come to the level 8 laboratory to find her.

But she could tell from Leony Davidson’s attitude that if she went to the level 8 laboratory tomorrow, those people would again keep a close eye on her.

”It’s not something urgent.” Nicholas Fuller had a rosy complexion, his bright eyes full of wisdom, he smiled slightly and said, ”I’m here to back you up.”

WHAT?

Nathalie Quinlan scratched her ear, looking confused.

Nicholas Fuller chuckled again, turned his back, and said amiably, ”Weren’t you intentionally made things difficult last time?”

Nathalie Quinlan came to a realization and tentatively said, ”Are you talking about Leony Davidson?”

Nicholas Fuller laughed heartily, not clarifying, ”I purposely came here today to show those people that you’re not without support so that they would stop giving you trouble every day.”

In fact, as soon as Nicholas Fuller arrived at the level 8 laboratory, he recognized Leony Davidson.

He intentionally asked Leony Davidson to call Nathalie Quinlan out, which was tantamount to indirectly reminding Leony Davidson that Nathalie Quinlan had his support, advising Leony Davidson to be more restrained in the laboratory.

”I reckon after today, no one in the laboratory will dare to mess with you temporarily.” Nicholas Fuller said with confidence.

Nathalie Quinlan understood his true purpose of boldly coming to the laboratory to see her, feeling a headache coming on, she looked at Nicholas Fuller, ”It’s really unnecessary, I don’t pay mind to their little tricks... they don’t affect me.”

”I know.” Nicholas Fuller interrupted her, ”But it’s always good to guard against petty people. Being cautious is never a bad thing.”

Nathalie Quinlan understood he had good intentions, pursed her lips, and didn’t bring up the matter again, ”By the way, you said you needed me for something, what is it?”

Only then did Nicholas Fuller remember, he quickly looked at her and said, ”I received an invitation from the Davidson Family, Marcella wants to recognize a goddaughter. Is the person she has her eye on you?”

As the director of The First Research Institute, Nicholas Fuller couldn’t be without connections in Inderia.

If Leony Davidson’s family could find out about it, Nicholas Fuller surely could as well.

When he discovered that the person’s surname was Qiao, he immediately thought of Nathalie Quinlan.

The girl, looking quite frustrated, reached out to pull down her duckbill cap, covering most of her face without denying it, ”It’s me.”

Nicholas Fuller felt a bit apprehensive.

”She...”

”Mrs. Davidson just mentioned it to me a few days ago, I didn’t expect the news to spread so quickly,” Nathalie Quinlan said before him.

Nicholas Fuller said, amused, ”You probably don’t understand the weight the name Marcella Davidson carries in Inderia. In some ways, she is more talented in semiconductors than Orson Saban. Unfortunately, she has been in poor health and has lived in seclusion in the manor.”

”Uh-huh.” Nathalie Quinlan nodded, her beautiful eyes like inky night looking at Nicholas Fuller, casually asking, ”Did you come here just to ask about this?”
