The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1342: Chapter 1342: The Old Master Wants to Remove Caryn Zachmann from the Family Registry!

Mr. Zachmann didn’t care about dropping a heavy bomb.

Everyone was still in shock from the explosive news of the Zachmann Family succession when he announced the second matter, ”Moreover, I have another item I hope everyone can witness for me.”

As he spoke, he paused slightly, lifted his gaze, and his eyes seemed to fall on Caryn Zachmann, who had not yet recovered.

In his gaze, there was regret, sorrow, and disappointment, yet no hesitation.

Mr. Zachmann withdrew his gaze, his expression deepened, and he solemnly declared, ”Caryn Zachmann is disrespectful towards elders and neglects her sister. I have no such granddaughter, and the Zachmann Family has no such descendent. Today’s invitation is to have everyone witness that from today onwards, Caryn Zachmann is no longer part of my Zachmann Family; I have decided to remove her name from the family registry!”

”Grandfather?!” Caryn Zachmann never expected that Mr. Zachmann’s anger would turn on her. Her mind went blank, her face full of astonishment, surprise, and panic.

She frantically called out to him, gripping her palm so tightly that her blood seemed frozen, and she stood trembling where she was.

She originally thought the heir chosen by the old master would be her.

Unexpectedly, Nathalie Quinlan took that place, and on top of that, the old master wanted to remove her name from the family registry.

For great families, there is no punishment more severe than being removed from the family registry. Once a person is removed, she will no longer enjoy the protection and honor the family brings.

The Zachmann Family in Beijing isn’t the top tier, but at least holds a moderate standing.

The Zachmann Family cannot compare to the full nobility of the Yancey Family, yet compared to some families below, it is still a privilege many can only hope to reach.

Over the years, she had enjoyed much of the honor the family brought.

She could study at prestigious schools and learn from leading experts in the country, thanks to the support behind her from the family.

The group of people surrounding her included many who flattered and doted on her due to the family’s influence...

Once she was removed from the family registry.

Caryn Zachmann couldn’t imagine the scene of her falling from the clouds into the abyss. The mere thought of plunging into the mire made her shoulders tremble, her pupils shake violently, and she almost couldn’t breathe, hardly daring to believe these words came from Mr. Zachmann.

Grandfather had always cherished her.

From childhood, she was the jewel of the family, and whatever she desired, she obtained without a hitch.

Even Hendrik Zachmann, who was always more outstanding and joined Maybelissa in adulthood, couldn’t surpass her in this regard.

Let alone Audrick Zachmann, whom everyone always looked down upon; his standing at home could never compare to hers!

Caryn Zachmann couldn’t fathom why Mr. Zachmann suddenly wanted to expel her from the family registry. Her face was as pale as paper, fragile and colorless, standing there feeling like a clown, facing astonished gazes from all directions...

Bernard Ingram was also dumbfounded, ”Brother, did you make a mistake? How can you remove Caryn from the family registry? She has brought much honor to the family, getting into prestigious schools and studying under Professor Wafford. I heard Caryn is preparing for the entrance examination for Master Cadmus’ laboratory, and with Caryn’s capability, entering the Ninth Institute is only a matter of time.”

”Is the Ninth Institute a place for just anyone? If Caryn enters the Ninth Institute, wouldn’t the family’s face shine with glory?”
