The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1324: Chapter 1324: Caught Red-Handed!

Because of her exaggerated movement, a key-like item fell out of her clothing bag, landing on the floor, and unfortunately rolled right to Tiffany Olsen’s feet.

Tiffany was startled by her, and instinctively bent down to help pick it up, looking puzzled: ”What is this?”

Before she could see clearly what was in her hand, Velnisa Irvin rushed over and snatched it back: ”Don’t touch my stuff!”

Tiffany was frightened by her sharp voice: ”What’s wrong with you? I was just helping you pick it up...”

The other two girls in the dormitory heard the commotion and came out from the shower area, asking, ”What’s going on? I just heard a loud noise.”

Tiffany hadn’t said a word yet.

That girl keenly noticed the car keys in Velnisa’s hand: ”Could that be Bentley keys?”

The car keys had a ’B’ letter on them, easily recognizable.

Tiffany was also stunned. She took one look and indeed saw the ’B’ on the car keys she picked up.

How could Velnisa Irvin have Bentley car keys?

She was baffled.

It’s said that this car is very expensive, at least millions for one.

Velnisa Irvin’s family conditions weren’t good. It’s said her hometown is in a town, and she’s the first to get into Tsinghua University from miles around, also receiving school grants for poor students. She couldn’t possibly afford a Bentley...

She thought about it and suddenly realized that Velnisa Irvin seemed different from when school had just started. The cotton skirts she often wore had disappeared, replaced by all kinds of beautiful and fashionable clothes, and bags. A few days ago, Jennie Sullivan even told her that Velnisa Irvin mentioned an L House’s new bag. She didn’t think much of it... and today, Bentley car keys again...

”How do you have this car key?”

She hadn’t had time to think it through.

Then she saw the principal and a group of school leaders appear at their dormitory door, knocking on the door, looking at them, and very politely asked: ”Who is Velnisa Irvin?”

*

Half an hour later.

Jackson Wafford was holding a damaged and scattered USB flash drive found in the trash can, rubbing his temples, and looked at the shy and sensible girl standing in front of him, asking sternly: ”Why did you steal?”

”You’re also a top student in your department. I asked Mr. Sullivan, and Mr. Sullivan said you are usually very well-behaved and couldn’t believe you would do something like this. Why did you do it, what’s the reason for doing this?”

Velnisa Irvin clenched her palm, her nails nearly breaking, raised her head, her face as pale as thin paper, ready to break with a poke.

She quickly glanced at Jackson Wafford and then lowered her head, silent.

”I’ll ask you again, why did you steal the USB flash drive?” Jackson Wafford sat in the chair, gentle but by no means infinitely tolerant, telling her directly the consequences: ”If you confess, you’re only expelled from school. If you continue to shield the person behind this, then I have no choice but to call the police and have them ask you.”

Velnisa Irvin suddenly raised her head, her eyes trembling violently, muffled: ”Call, call the police?”

The worst she imagined was being found by the school and then facing school discipline.

But she didn’t expect to be expelled from school, and even have the police involved.

She hadn’t thought the consequences would be this severe.

”What you stole isn’t ordinary stuff, it concerns the honor of the nation! Do you think this is a trivial matter? You yourself have signed up for this competition, you should understand that this is our first entry into the finals of this competition, and how many people have worked hard behind the scenes! You casually destroyed the item, do you realize how much of people’s hard work and hope you’ve trampled on, do you think you won’t be punished? Or that the school will let you off lightly?”
