The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Buying Edric Yancey a Small Gift_1

Nathalie Quinlan casually browsed around before heading upstairs.

There was also a Seven counter in the mall, not many people were shopping there because ordinary people knew they couldn’t afford it just by looking at the brand, so they typically wouldn’t go in to look.

Nathalie wandered in aimlessly, and the sales associate greeted her warmly as soon as she saw someone enter, ”Hello, what kind of jewelry are you looking to buy? I can recommend something for you.”

She saw that it was a high school girl and was taken aback for a moment, but she still maintained an enthusiastic smile on her face and didn’t turn away in disinterest just because Nathalie looked young.

Following behind Nathalie, she asked gently, ”Little sister, what do you want to buy? Bracelets, bangles, necklaces, earrings, brooches... I can tell you about the styles we have and in which area you can find them.”

Nathalie had never browsed the Seven brand in a retail store before, as Silvania Ingram would always send her a set from each new collection first.

She would just throw them in her backpack, and there were some she didn’t put in her backpack that she couldn’t remember where she had placed.

She was mainly there today to find a good-looking and fun little trinket for the little guy, so she looked down, pressed her lips together thoughtfully and said, ”A brooch.”

”Alright, a brooch it is. Please follow me,” the sales associate led her inside.

The specialty store was spacious, with a simple black and white interior design as the main theme, decorated with metallic accents, exuding understated luxury.

The overall decor was very grand.

There were a few other customers in the store, in contrast to Nathalie’s nondescript casual outfit, virtually everyone there was instantly recognizable as famous ladies, with exquisitely styled hair and makeup, and their clothes and jewelry were typically identifiable by brand.

The other sales associates lost interest as soon as they saw Nathalie was a high school girl, and only the one who initially greeted her followed her, always wearing a smile, without discriminating against customers.

”We’re here, this is the place.”

She led Nathalie to a display counter illuminated by the light; inside the glass case, there were all kinds of delicately beautiful diamond brooches.

”Let me recommend one for you.”

The sales associate put on gloves, opened the glass display with a key, and took out a small, adorable animal brooch, starting to introduce it with a smile, ”This brooch is very cute. Although it’s not from the most recent collection, it has a great cost-performance ratio and is very suitable for young girls. It’s a seahorse pattern, and when you wear a little dress, it looks playful and cute on the collar.”

Nathalie looked at it, and it was indeed cute, suitable for a child.

However, her gaze fell on a little cat-patterned brooch inside the counter, and she pointed to it, saying, ”Can you take that one out for me to see?”

”That design?” Dai Qing hesitated slightly; it was this year’s newest model, which had a lot of diamonds incorporated into it, and the price was steep.

Nathalie looked like a student, definitely not able to afford it.

But after only a brief hesitation, she did as Nathalie asked, taking the item out of the case for her to see, while tactfully suggesting in a soft voice, ”Because this model is new, the price is on the expensive side. Actually, that seahorse brooch is also very nice. Even though they are all crushed diamonds, they look equally sparkling under the light.”

Nathalie eyed the cat brooch, which had a very intricate design. The cat’s eyes were adorned with a pair of rare black diamonds, which weren’t very large, but they were endearing.

The little guy would probably like it.

Nathalie thought of Edric Yancey, her eyes softened, and she quite liked the brooch. She handed it over to the associate who was still trying to convince her and said, ”I’ll take this one, wrap it up for me.”
