Quick Transmigration: The Cannon Fodder's Comeback in the Era Tales

Chapter 376: Chapter 376: Not a Fit Foster Mother 17

”Yes, my eldest son did nothing wrong. We don’t bully others first, but we also can’t let others bully us. If someone hits you, you hit back hard. However, remember, if you can’t beat them, then don’t try to with brute force. Tell the teacher or tell mommy. Mommy will help you fight back.”

Xiao Bao’s little face was tightly wrinkled, ”Mom, the teacher said it’s wrong for adults to hit kids.”

Yuan Chun chuckled, ”I’m not hitting kids; Mommy will hit the other parents. It’s the parents’ fault for not teaching their children. Since their child loves to hit others, doesn’t teach him well, then Mommy will go hit their parents.”

Xiao Bao’s wrinkles deepened, ”But mom, Fatty Li’s dad is really tall, and he has a lot of beard on his face. He seems really strong. What if you can’t beat him?”

His mom is a woman; how could she beat a man?

Yuan Chun dismissively curled her lip, ”Isn’t he just a butcher? Mommy’s not afraid; Mommy can take him on.”

Just as she finished speaking, there was a loud banging on their courtyard gate.

”Mom, it sounds like someone’s knocking on our gate. Is someone here to buy something?” Xiao Bao asked.

”Mommy will go check.” Yuan Chun set down the water bucket and scoop, and reminded her son, ”You stay here and water the vegetables, don’t go to the front yard.”

”Got it, Mom.”

Thinking it was a customer knocking, Xiao Bao stayed in the backyard watering the vegetables as his mom instructed.

Yuan Chun opened the gate and saw five burly men and seven or eight women standing outside, with an old woman at the front.

Yuan Chun coldly chuckled, closed the gate back with a bang, leaned against it, and shouted, ”Oh, who do we have here? Isn’t this Li Qianpozi? What, you brought so many people, planning to rob my shop?”

”Pah, it’s just a shop, who cares about that? I’m here because your son hit my little grandson. Where’s your son? Bring that little brat out here. Dare to hit my grandson, I...”

Yuan Chun’s face turned stern, cutting her off loudly, ”What about you? Your grandson hit my son first. I haven’t even gone to your Li family to settle the score, and you dare come to my doorstep. Just as well, I wanted to ask you, how does your Li family educate its children? Why is your grandson always bullying others at daycare? If your grandson didn’t push my son first, would my son have pushed him? Where’s your grandson? Bring him out, I want to ask him why he’s always targeting my son at daycare. This isn’t the first time your grandson has hit my son first.”

Yuan Chun, hands on hips, fiercely demanded the Li family hand over Fatty Li, ”I’m telling you, just because you have numbers doesn’t mean you can bully us, a widow and orphan. I’m Liu Yuanchun, I’m not to be trifled with. Today, if your Li family doesn’t give me an explanation, none of you are leaving.”

The Li family, having come with a big crowd to make accusations, ended up being confronted by Yuan Chun.

Li Qianpo was so angry she let out a howl, ready to throw a tantrum on the ground.

Yuan Chun preemptively shouted, ”Everyone, come see what’s going on! Li Qianpozi here in Chopstick Alley isn’t acting like a person. Her grandson hit someone, and her whole family shamelessly accuses us, a widow and orphan!”

This shout almost drew out half the alley’s residents.

People had just finished dinner and were relaxing in their yards. Hearing the commotion, they all rushed out to see what was happening.
