Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

He Gu pondered seriously for a moment and said, ”The full name of that transformed Prometheus Level is Prometheus Mk.2 Level Improved Fuel Transport Ship.”

”The main weapon it carries is different from the ordinary Prometheus Level; it’s a weapon called Luder’s Light by the people of Zuo Jing.”

As He Gu spoke, the image of the Prometheus that Chen Ming had previously seen through his Dusk Fleet immediately reappeared in his mind.

And when Chen Ming’s mind gradually sketched the appearance of the Prometheus Mk.2 to its main cannon, he suddenly realized a problem: ”I remember you said that the Mechanical Race created a unique kinetic main-level weapon, right?

”So does that mean the main weapon of this Mk.2 isn’t a kinetic weapon?”

When Chen Ming saw that new weapon before, he thought it was a kinetic weapon, but could it be it’s not?

He Gu admitted, ”Yes, it’s not kinetic. Although it looks like one, its type should actually be classified as a missile weapon, also known as an explosive weapon.”

”Moreover, this thing is quite special, Zuo Jing’s transformation made that main cannon into a one-time use weapon.”

”It can directly launch the main cannon out, treating it as a bomb with an incredibly massive yield.”

”Huh?”

Although He Gu explained it clearly, Chen Ming still found it a bit difficult to understand.

He Gu also seemed a bit unable to hold it together: ”It’s just launching the main cannon out, which works out in calculations.”

”However, during actual combat, it might require the main ship to charge in to help shield this bomb from some defensive firepower.”

”It’s absurd, but it fits Zuo Jing’s weapon. The final power is also exaggerated, if it hits the continental shelf of a planet, it could destroy the entire planet’s ecosystem.”

”Fortunately, Zuo Jing is already finished, otherwise who knows what else they could come up with.”

Chen Ming suddenly felt on the verge of saying something.

He Gu was looking out the porthole, not noticing Chen Ming’s abnormality.

And Chen Ming thought a moment and still refrained from saying more about his understanding and awareness of Zuo Jing.

The true mind control psychics of Zuo Jing, still lurking within the Empire’s territory, would have to be talked about at an appropriate time with the right person later.

While Chen Ming and He Gu were chatting idly.

The destroyer Chen Ming was aboard was also gradually approaching the Beinu Star Realm Capital.

And then, Chen Ming discovered in superspace, in front of the ship he was on, there was a fleet approaching them.

That familiar shabby armor and haphazardly modified ships made Chen Ming immediately realize they were encountering pirates.

Right in the Beinu Star Realm, just a stone’s throw away from the Beinu Capital.

This Pirate Fleet saw that they only had one destroyer and four escort frigates, thinking they were easy pickings, so they decided to cause trouble.

Chen Ming had seen plenty of pirates before.

But seeing pirates near the capital of a star realm was a first for Chen Ming.

Even in the Edge Star Realm, like Galor, they couldn’t allow pirates to operate so openly near the capital.

It only shows how chaotic things are over in Beinu.

Pirates are rampant, management is chaotic,

and the temporary government appointed for lower-level departments has almost zero management ability, even at the capital vicinity.

The lingering effects of Zuo Jing really are...

As soon as Chen Ming detected the outside anomaly through the sensors of the destroyer, He Gu quickly learned from the captain of this destroyer about the information regarding the approaching pirates.

And promptly shared it with Chen Ming.

Then Chen Ming raised a question: ”Didn’t they say the Fourteenth Legion is taking over Beinu? Hasn’t it started yet?”

”It should be soon.”

He Gu responded and was about to discuss with the captain about dealing with the pirate issue.

Chen Ming had already moved and out of nowhere manufactured a Torrent Level.
