Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 597: Chapter 185: New Discovery_4

It’s strange if he doesn’t fight the Mechanical Race tooth and nail.

Therefore, even though Chen Ming might have plans for this place now, he must carefully consider the subsequent reprisals of the Mechanical Race.

The Mechanical Race here is not like those on the planet Chen Ming discovered earlier, which were isolated from the entire Mechanical Race cluster.

The Mechanical Race here is connected with the neighboring Mechanical Race Star Zone.

They hold an extreme hostility towards humans and any human creations.

If Chen Ming appears here and attacks the Mechanical Race, a multitude of Mechanical Race might swoop in from the Mechanical Race Star Realm to trouble him.

He must first deal with these troubles to have any chance of achieving results on this ochre colored planet.

Therefore, in the case of encountering reinforcements from the Mechanical Race, he must first consider the possibility of failure and the path of retreat.

Then, he can consider attacking the Mechanical Race colony, capturing Mechanical Race individuals, and controlling the Mechanical Race Cruiser.

Attacking is equally not a simple matter.

This under-construction Mechanical Race city is totally different from the abandoned city Chen Ming discovered earlier.

The defense systems are complete, the number of surviving Mechanical Race individuals is abundant, and each possesses robust combat capabilities and comprehensive logistical support.

So how to attack? Attack where? How to gain the maximum benefit and control the largest number of Mechanical Race? How to disable the Mechanical Race Cruiser at the center of the city?

These are all problems.

Of course, there’s one thing that can be confirmed without considering.

The main force in attacking the Mechanical Race colony will certainly be led by the Insect Queen and the Insect Race.

Since the Mechanical Race cannot yet create new individual consciousness, they cannot afford losses.

It’s not easy for Chen Ming to spend a substantial amount of Spiritual Power to manufacture and control a robot army for a sustained attack on the Mechanical Race colony.

Hence, the Insect Race is definitely the best choice.

However, using the Insect Race requires paying attention to one matter.

From viewing the saved recordings in the abandoned city of the Mechanical Race earlier, it’s apparent that the Mechanical Race has a very keen detection ability against the Insect Race.

The Insect Queen had just entered the atmosphere and hadn’t landed yet when the Mechanical Race on the planet’s surface began mobilizing.

If the Insect Queen didn’t flee quickly, Chen Ming wouldn’t have that Insect Queen in his hands today.

Combined with Chen Ming’s earlier observation that the Insect Race’s blood has an extremely unique effect on the Mechanical Race, it’s hard not to believe something hasn’t transpired between the Insect Race and Mechanical Race.

Therefore, it seems there’s some innate hatred between the Insect Race and the Mechanical Race, compounded with the Mechanical Race’s hatred towards humans.

This makes it even more likely that reinforcements from the Mechanical Race could become increasingly dangerous.

At that time, it will undoubtedly be Chen Ming intercepting the Mechanical Race support in space, with the Insect Queen descending to prepare for the assault.

He isn’t worried about the Insect Queen on the planet, since the Mechanical Race there has been thoroughly controlled by him, eliminating external limitations.

The expansion rate of the insects in the Insect Queen’s Nest is growing almost exponentially, faster each day.

As long as Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power is sufficient to maintain the transportation of Energy Crystals to support the Insect Queen in breeding Insect Race individuals.

Attacking a Mechanical Race city that just began colonization shouldn’t present major issues.

But space is different; will the reinforcements from the Mechanical Race be numerous? Will they arrive quickly? Will he be able to combat them?

These are all questions Chen Ming must consider.

Not all matters have the time for him to think about response strategies.

However, since he can spend a bit of time considering now, it’s better to ponder.

Moreover, the core Insect Queen of the Insect Race, as the main force in landing operations, is still in a cocoon, resting and evolving.

The attack can’t be rushed.

Thus, Chen Ming indeed has some time to consider.

And the direction of consideration is naturally how to let the Insect Queen first arrive at the Mechanical Race’s planet and develop for a period without being detected by the Mechanical Race.

To propagate a batch of Insect Race under the supply of Chen Ming’s Energy Crystals.
