Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Red Moon Restaurant 3“Okay, okay, my bad, my bad.”

Eber quickly lowered his head and admitted his mistake. He didn’t dare to be arrogant now, but he still really wanted to know why Lin Feng hadn’t been punished.

Could it be that this little scuffle didn’t count?

Then his two fingers being cut off now definitely counted, right?

Thinking of this, Eber decided to find an opportunity to accuse Lin Feng again next time.

He demanded equal treatment.

After bandaging his severed fingers, Eber was about to climb into bed to rest when the white man hit him again with a shoe.

“Get me my shoe! N-word.”

....

During this rest period, Lin Feng also chatted with the other two.

The white man’s name was John, and he used to sell laundry detergent, which explained his fierce expression.

The Japanese man’s name was Mei Chuan Kuzi, and he used to be a corporate slave.

As for Eber? His current state was no different from being isolated.

Who told him to start trouble first and then be the villain who complained first?

Soon, work time was approaching, and the previously quiet corridor outside became noisy.

Lin Feng also held his key and followed the flow of people to the changing room.

The humans here all had cold expressions, like machines. Lin Feng originally wanted to strike up a conversation to ask about the situation here, but no one was willing to talk to him, and the way they looked at him was full of pity.

“How strange.”

Seeing that these people were unwilling to talk, Lin Feng didn’t try to get closer. After finding his locker, he took out the clothes inside.

The clothes were black and white, the pants were pure black, and there was also a hat.

After getting dressed, Lin Feng followed the crowd to a luxurious restaurant.

This should be where they worked.

Just then, an expressionless man walked over.

“Are you Lin Feng?”

His voice was exceptionally unpleasant, as if his vocal cords had been gnawed on by an old woman.

“Yes.”

Lin Feng nodded slightly, looking at the man in front of him. His attire was different from the other employees here, so he should be a manager.

“I am your manager. My surname is Wu. Come with me, I’ll assign you a work area.”

“Okay.”

Soon, Lin Feng was led by Wu Hua to the back kitchen.

“You are responsible for dining area 13. When the chef serves dishes, he will say which dining area the dish is for. Don’t get it wrong. The table number will be clipped to the plate.”

Wu Hua finished speaking expressionlessly and then brought Lin Feng to dining area 13.

There weren’t many guests here now, but Wu Hua said that in about an hour, it would gradually get busier.

Because Red Moon Restaurant was the most famous restaurant nearby, many monsters would come to eat during meal times.

“You are responsible for serving dishes. This is your job. Don’t worry about anything else.”

After bringing Lin Feng back to the back kitchen, Wu Hua left.

During the long time he communicated with Lin Feng, he didn’t show any expression, making Lin Feng think he was a facial paralysis.

Watching Wu Hua leave, Lin Feng directly sat on a chair nearby.

All he was thinking about now was how to slack off.

It seemed that the intensity of employee supervision here wasn’t very high.

Lin Feng looked around and found that there wasn’t even a camera.

If that was the case, then he wondered if he could just go invisible and hide.

No, although humans couldn’t see him invisible, these ghosts should be able to.

So, he should slack off in the restroom.

“Dining area 13!”

“Coming.”

Lin Feng responded and then got up and walked over.

The chef had already prepared the dishes.

“Stir-fried octopus, take it.”

The chef’s upper body was human-like, while his lower body was large and bulging, but it was covered by the chef’s uniform, so Lin Feng didn’t know what his lower body was.

“Holy crap, octopus tentacles?”

Just as Lin Feng picked up the plate, an octopus tentacle emerged from beneath the chef.

Lin Feng immediately cursed in his heart.

This stir-fried octopus couldn’t possibly be cut from your body, could it??

However, Lin Feng quickly placed the dish onto the tray.

The table number clipped to it was table 7.

Holding the tray, Lin Feng quickly arrived at dining area 13.

There was only one table of guests here, so Lin Feng didn’t need to search.

“Hello, here is your stir-fried octopus.”

Lin Feng smiled as he set the dish down.

“Mm.”

The obese man in front of him extended something like a vacuum cleaner from his belly and quickly sucked the octopus clean.

The efficiency was truly fast.

After witnessing such an amazing way of eating, Lin Feng didn’t linger and turned to return to the back kitchen.

However, on the way, he walked as slowly as possible and also wandered around nearby.

He finally saw the restroom, but there was even a person guarding it outside.

Upon inquiry, he learned that employees needed to register to use the restroom during work hours, and they couldn’t exceed three times a day, regardless of whether it was a small or large matter, and each time couldn’t exceed ten minutes.

No wonder the human employees he saw all looked like they were on the verge of death. Even going to the restroom was managed; other things could be imagined.

Most of the employees in this restaurant seemed to be human.

Lin Feng guessed that these humans might have been captured and forced to work here.

Regarding this, Lin Feng needed to investigate further.

When Lin Feng returned to the back kitchen, more than a dozen human employees had already gathered there. Their jobs were the same as Lin Feng’s: dish servers.

He didn’t see the other three Seekers. They might have been assigned to other tasks.

There were also more than a dozen chefs in the back kitchen, but these chefs were not human; they were all strange creatures.

However, from their conversation, Lin Feng learned that the octopus chef from earlier was actually the head chef.

So, if he wanted to slack off next, wouldn’t he have to get on good terms with him?

Lin Feng was very clear that the head chef managed the entire back kitchen, so if he wanted to have an easy 7 days here, he had to get on good terms with this head chef.

As for Lin Ke’s name, Lin Feng would try his best not to use it if possible.

Lin Feng always felt that the female ghost harbored ill intentions towards him.

Thinking of this, Lin Feng prepared to go back and sit down.

“Strange, with so many people, why is no one sitting on the chairs?”

Lin Feng scratched his head and then plopped down onto a chair.

The people around him all showed sympathetic gazes.

Soon, a burly man walked over.

“Brother, new here? This is my spot, please move.”

The burly man said with a smile, a strong smell of sweat assaulting Lin Feng’s nostrils, causing him to frown.

“I was here first, so this is my spot. Aren’t there other chairs over there?”

“Heh heh, then it can only be this way.”

The burly man said with a smile again, then sized up Lin Feng and left.
