Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Corruption SlaughterhouseAt this moment, in the Elevator’s chat room, Lin Feng’s name had already flooded the screen.

”Lin Da Lao, what’s going on? Why are you suddenly selling so much food?”

”Holy crap! I suddenly really want to know what floors Lin Da Lao has experienced!”

”By the way, have you noticed that Lin Feng’s level is already ten?”

”Hiss! This is too terrifying. He is definitely the highest-level person right now. The day before yesterday, I cooperated with a Level 7 Da Lao to clear an escape floor, and I thought that person was already the highest level.”

”Right, do you have any good ways to get gold coins? The amount of gold coins needed to upgrade the Elevator later is simply insane!”

”Upstairs, I went to a peaceful floor some time ago. The Elevator’s broadcast said this was the Trading Floor, and there were many merchants from other worlds inside. They all trade with gold coins, so it should be possible to get gold coins this way, right?”

”Trading Floor? Eh! I went there yesterday too. I even saw a few people fighting then, and they were dragged away by some Soldier.”

”So, what can we sell? They won’t buy scrap metal, right? After all, they aren’t junk collectors.”

”I once found a blood potion that heals injuries on a floor. I wonder if it’s worth a few gold coins.”

”I even picked up a zombie virus serum! Do you think there are merchants from a zombie world? This serum would definitely sell for a good price!”

”Forget it, they’re probably not even the same virus.”

..........

Lin Feng also saw the information in the chat room and took the opportunity to learn about the progress of other Seekers.

After scrolling for a long time, he found that besides himself, the highest level was only 7, and most others were generally Level 5 or 6.

”So many Level 7 Seekers, huh.”

Lin Feng smiled. When they reach Level 8 and get their vacation, he wondered if Blue Star would descend into chaos.

Among these people, there were definitely some ’big clever’ ones who would directly call the police for help.

However, Lin Feng couldn’t manage these things. He opened the Exchange and found that only one-third of the beef and beef bones he was selling had been sold.

Lin Feng had originally thought they would be snapped up instantly, but the damaged bulletproof vests, cold-weather clothes, and 20 flintlocks had all sold out.

The slow sale of food could only indicate one problem: food and water were no longer the most scarce resources.

He filtered the orders on the Exchange and, sure enough, there were many selling food.

Most were canned goods, bread, compressed biscuits, and instant rice. The purchase methods were also through materials for upgrading the Elevator or medicines.

Moreover, their prices were getting lower and lower.

”Competition is everywhere, even here.”

After closing the Exchange, Lin Feng picked up his homemade dumbbells and continued to work out.

......

Two hours later, Lin Feng was about to go to sleep when he suddenly discovered a message from Qin An.

Qin An: ”Lin Feng! My Elevator has upgraded to Level 8. Just now, the Elevator broadcast said I could get a vacation after clearing one more floor. What does ’vacation’ mean? Did you have this situation when you reached Level 8?”

Hmm? Qin An is quite fast; he’s already Level 8.

Lin Feng: ”Vacation means letting you go back to Blue Star to play for a few days, nothing else.”

Qin An: ”What?! Back to Blue Star!”

Lin Feng: ”Calm down. I’m going to sleep. You should also organize your equipment. The difficulty of your next floor should be quite high.”

Qin An: ”OK.”

After Qin An replied, he excitedly sat on the bed, not forgetting to prepare his best equipment.

.......

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is the Corrupted Slaughterhouse. There are three other Seekers and one Butcher on this floor. Seekers need to find the keys and open the gate to evacuate the Slaughterhouse before the Elevator closes. Each key can evacuate one person, and there are only three keys.”

”Beep! Host, please note: The Butcher on this floor is not invincible. The materials of deceased Seekers will be divided up. Seekers can harm each other. One Seeker can find all the keys and escape, thereby indirectly killing the other Seekers. Seekers cannot carry any items into this floor.”

”What kind of gameplay is this again?”

Lin Feng scratched his head.

It seems this floor can only be escaped from. However, Lin Feng is currently more concerned about the relationship between the Seekers.

Is it a cooperative relationship, or...

According to the system’s prompt, the relationship between the Seekers seems to lean more towards hostility.

Four people, three keys. One person will definitely die in the end. If someone is greedy and wants other people’s materials, they can leave with all the keys...

”Beep, mission triggered: Another Path;

Please kill the Butcher when only one person remains on this floor. After the Butcher dies, you can directly leave the floor.

The tool for killing the Butcher is the Farmer’s Shotgun. After entering the floor, its location will be marked for the host.

Mission Reward: Still Invisibility. After activation, remaining motionless for 2 seconds will enter an invisible state. Moving again will exit the invisible state.”

.....

”Ding dong! Elevator descending. Please hold on tight.”

.....

Buzz!

The Elevator plummeted rapidly, and the strong sense of weightlessness forced Lin Feng to grab the handrail beside him.

”Awoo!!!”

Little Velociraptor hugged Lin Feng’s leg even tighter.

Fortunately, this rollercoaster-like experience didn’t last too long. Soon, the Elevator’s speed stabilized.

After the Elevator stopped, the Elevator door opened automatically.

The Elevator’s broadcast sounded again.

”Ding dong! Seekers, please evade the Butcher, find the keys, and escape the Slaughterhouse before the Elevator closes. Each key can evacuate one person, and there are only three keys. For those who fail to escape, their materials will be equally divided among the others. Initial equipment is an electronic map, which can show the location of the escape gate. The key locations will refresh every 10 seconds. The Butcher is invincible.”

After the broadcast ended, Lin Feng was slowly pushed out of the Elevator by a force.

Then the Elevator disappeared, and the other three also appeared in front of Lin Feng.

A Black woman, a well-mannered man wearing glasses, and finally, a man with an afro hairstyle.

The four looked at each other, their eyes full of vigilance.

Just then, a flock of crows flew by, emitting hoarse, unpleasant sounds.

In the distance, a burly figure slowly walked over, accompanied by the sound of a chainsaw starting.

Unsurprisingly, this was the Butcher. Lin Feng raised his wrist and looked at the map on it. There was a gun icon, which should be the tool the system mentioned for killing the Butcher.

Lin Feng needed to go and get this shotgun first.
