Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Red Moon RestaurantThe first thing Qin An did when he woke up was to report his safety to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng, on the other side, breathed a sigh of relief after receiving Qin An’s message.

”It’s good that this guy isn’t dead.”

As soon as Lin Feng finished speaking, Little Velociraptor suddenly nudged him and then pointed to the pot.

”I almost forgot!!”

Lin Feng quickly turned off the induction cooker; luckily, the pot hadn’t burned.

He scooped out a piece of meat and tasted it; the flavor was decent.

He then simply ate while watching TV.

The program playing on TV was a horror movie; Lin Feng didn’t know the title, but its scariness was a bit disappointing.

The ghosts in it, aside from being pale, were almost like normal people.

However, the plot was quite realistic.

Watching a human get headshotted by a vengeful ghost, Lin Feng quickly shoveled a few pieces of meat into his mouth.

”This show is great for eating!”

”Awoo! Awoo!”

After eating and exercising for a few hours, Lin Feng went to sleep, ready to face the next unknown floor.

....

”Beep! The floor the host is about to enter is Red Moon Restaurant. This floor is a strange world. The way to leave is to work at this restaurant for 7 days. After 7 days, rewards will be given based on the host’s performance. The danger level of this floor is moderate; as long as the restaurant’s employee regulations are followed, nothing will go wrong. In addition to the host, three other Seekers will enter this floor.”

”Beep! Triggered selection task:

Option One: Enter the floor and become the best employee of Red Moon Restaurant this week. Reward: 30 bullets of any type blessed by Buddha.

Option Two: Do not enter the floor, survive in the Elevator. Reward: Sanity +2.

Option Three: Enter the floor and successfully Hunyue Moya for 7 days. Reward: Hunyue Moya (when activated, it can conceal one’s aura and reduce one’s sense of presence).”

Looking at the three options given by the system, to be honest, Lin Feng was a bit troubled this time.

Because all three options were very good.

Option Two was not only safe but also added 2 to his sanity.

The blessed bullets in Option One, one could tell with their toes that they were for dealing with ghosts, but he didn’t know how powerful they were.

Moreover, after choosing this, he would be able to handcraft blessed bullets at the workbench in the future.

The Hunyue Moya skill given in Option Three was also very good; it concealed one’s aura and reduced one’s sense of presence. Combined with his Still Invisibility skill, when he wanted to become invisible, no creature would truly be able to find him.

Lin Feng habitually rubbed his chin again.

He had already decided to go in, but he was very hesitant between Option One and Option Three.

Should he choose the blessed bullets, or should he choose Hunyue Moya and become a complete rogue from now on?

........

”I choose, three!”

Lin Feng said firmly. Compared to working hard, he still preferred to Hunyue Moya, as he was already a veteran at it when he worked summer jobs before.

[Ding dong! Elevator descending. Please hold on tight.]

”Little Velociraptor, you stay in the Elevator and wait for me this time.”

Lin Feng patted Little Velociraptor’s head, then took out seven days’ worth of meat for it from his cowhide backpack. Fish would occasionally appear in the pool, so there was no need to worry about Little Velociraptor going hungry.

Also, the system didn’t tell him this time that he couldn’t bring weapons to this floor.

So Lin Feng brought his cowhide backpack, which contained a pile of weapons and food.

After shaking his cowhide backpack, Lin Feng stepped out of the Elevator.

[Ding dong! All Seekers, please work on this floor for 7 days. After 7 days, you may leave this floor. At that time, rewards will be given based on the effort put into work. Please abide by the employee handbook.]

After the Elevator announcement disappeared, Lin Feng appeared in an employee dormitory.

This dormitory had a total of four beds, and the setup was quite good: air conditioning + an independent bathroom + a first-aid kit. However, there were no windows, and an employee handbook was posted next to the dormitory door.

Just as Lin Feng was about to go and read the handbook, three more people appeared in the room.

They were the other three Seekers.

All were male; one was Asian like Lin Feng, but seemed to be Japanese, while the other two were one black and one white.

At this moment, everyone’s expressions were very cautious, and they held their respective weapons.

Those who had survived until now had more or less blood on their hands.

So, they naturally wouldn’t be friendly towards other Seekers right away.

Lin Feng looked at the three of them, then slowly walked towards the employee handbook.

[Employee Handbook]

[One: Human employees are prohibited from leaving human activity areas during non-working hours.]

[Two: Employees must get along harmoniously.]

[Three: The customer is paramount; always smile at all guests.]

[Four: Human employees are prohibited from leaving the dormitory after 9 PM.]

[Five: Human employees must wear their employee uniforms in the employee changing room before working. Consequences for unauthorized removal are at your own risk.]

[Six: Be proactive in work; severe Hunyue Moya is prohibited.]

[Seven: Morning working hours are 9 AM, closing time 1 PM. Afternoon working hours are 3 PM, closing time 7 PM. Please do not be late.]

[Eight: Violations of the employee handbook will result in punishment.]

......

There were eight rules in total, and they didn’t seem very strict.

However, one rule stipulated that human employees needed to get along harmoniously, which meant that these Seekers should coexist peacefully during this period.

No one could guarantee whether the punishment for violating the rules was death.

After reading the employee handbook, Lin Feng yawned and picked a bottom bunk to sit on.

The other three also gathered to read the handbook carefully.

Looking at the clock on the wall, it was 11 AM, already past working hours. They would go to work in the afternoon.

After reading the handbook, the others began to choose beds. Bottom bunks were definitely more convenient, but Lin Feng occupied one, and another white man occupied one.

The Japanese man consciously climbed onto an upper bunk.

However, the dark-skinned fellow looked at the white man, then at Lin Feng, and swayed over towards Lin Feng.

Lin Feng sneered inwardly at this.

Oh, so he thinks I’m easy to bully, huh?

”Hey, yellow monkey, go up there!”

Lin Feng frowned slightly at the name the dark-skinned man in front of him used.

Then he slowly stood up.

The man thought he had scared Lin Feng, but he had barely been smug for long when he saw Lin Feng extend his hand to him.

”Hello, my name is Lin Feng. What’s yours?”

Seeing Lin Feng’s ill-intentioned smile, he disdainfully extended his hand.

”Yellow ski.... Ah!!!! Fuck! Ah!!!”

Lin Feng watched the rude dark-skinned man in front of him with a slight smile, and the black man’s hand had already been deformed by Lin Feng’s grip.

However, no matter how he struggled, Lin Feng’s hand was like a pair of pliers, impossible to break free from.

”Next time, clean up your mouth.”

PS: Many people don’t seem to like this type of content. The main reason I wrote this is to enrich the setting of the real world. The Monster World where Red Moon Restaurant is located is connected to the real world. If you don’t like it, you can skip it directly; it won’t affect the later plot.
