Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Elevator upgraded to level 10The Charging Pistol was very small in appearance, with an energy bar at the rear sight.

This should be the energy bar displaying the charge.

Lin Feng retreated a distance, then pressed and held the trigger, aiming at the house in front of him.

The energy bar at the rear sight also charged rapidly.

After more than ten seconds, the energy bar was full, and the Charging Pistol began to vibrate slightly.

Seeing this, Lin Feng quickly released the trigger, and with a ”boom,” Lin Feng was directly flung backward, crashing into a utility pole behind him.

The house in front of him was directly penetrated, and the energy projectile flew off to who-knew-where.

Lin Feng, with a bewildered expression, stood up, leaning on the utility pole.

What was that thing that just sent him flying?

Recoil?

The house in front of him, however, was left with two perfectly neat large holes.

No wonder it advised caution when using it.

Lin Feng rubbed his wrist, then switched to his other hand.

He then started with a one-second charge and gradually increased the charging time, finally finding the maximum charging time within his tolerable range.

Five seconds!

The power of the energy projectile fired was actually not small.

It was like an RPG.

”Five-second True Man!”

After locking the trigger of the Energy Pistol, Lin Feng went to look at the snowmobile again.

Such a large thing would be useless for him to take, so Lin Feng simply disassembled everything that could be removed.

Ultimately, he kept one snowmobile and rode it back to the Elevator.

The Elevator’s countdown was also just about to end.

Afterward, Lin Feng took out the bulletproof vests worn by the Raiders, as well as their warm suits.

The bulletproof vests of those poor wretches who were blown up were already ruined, but putting them on the Exchange for materials to upgrade the Elevator should find buyers.

There was only one intact warm suit, which Lin Feng intended to keep for himself.

The rest mostly had several bullet holes and were stained with blood; these damaged ones Lin Feng naturally listed on the Exchange.

Warm suits would definitely be bought by many people, as the temperature in the Elevator was still very low, and many people hadn’t unlocked fireplaces yet, struggling to survive by making bonfires.

”Hmm... let’s use them all to Exchange for materials to upgrade the Elevator.”

After finishing these tasks, Lin Feng clicked to upgrade the Elevator.

Soon, the Elevator upgrade was complete.

This upgrade, apart from expanding the Elevator’s range a bit, had no other obvious changes on the surface, but Lin Feng discovered that the Exchange had also been upgraded.

The current Exchange allowed items for sale to be stored within the Exchange, no longer needing to be piled up in the Elevator.

Previously, after listing items for sale on the Exchange, the items would still remain in the Elevator and only disappear after a successful sale.

This new feature saved a lot of space, but the Exchange could only store your items for a maximum of seven days.

Besides that... Lin Feng also thought of a clever trick: if he had too many things to fit in the future, he could use the Exchange as a temporary warehouse.

”Ding! Congratulations, Host, mission complete.

Rewards have been distributed.

Please check them yourself.”

Lin Feng thought it was the reward from the upgrade mission, but it turned out to be the reward for killing the Raiders: a piece of Memory Metal.

(This Memory Metal is not the kind researched by current technology.)

Soon, the rewards for upgrading the Elevator were also distributed.

Now, Lin Feng’s workbench had been magically modified by the system.

The system’s previously rewarded items also appeared in the crafting table.

For example: Body Strengthening Pill, cowhide backpack, steel crossbow, chainsaw, omnipotent key...

Lin Feng directly checked the materials required for the cowhide backpack.

Four cowhides plus one super cowhide.

Four cowhides, Lin Feng could understand, but what in the world was this super cowhide?

Is it skin peeled from a super cow?

”Forget it, let’s see how to make the omnipotent key first.”

If nothing unexpected happens, the system will probably distribute super cowhide as a reward later.

Heh heh, I’ve seen through the system’s tricks!

The omnipotent key requires a small piece of aluminum, a few tens of grams are enough, and then a piece of Memory Metal.

These two items can be combined to form an omnipotent key.

Lin Feng picked up the pliers on the workbench, cut off a small piece of aluminum, and then took out the Memory Metal given to him by the system.

The Memory Metal felt very light in his hand, and like a non-Newtonian fluid, if you squeezed it hard, it was as hard as steel, but if you squeezed it gently, it would become like play-doh.

After placing the two items on the workbench, several words appeared in front of Lin Feng: [Manufacture omnipotent key]

Upon clicking, Lin Feng’s hands moved on their own.

A moment later, a brand new omnipotent key was produced.

”Hmm? What’s the principle behind this?”

If Lin Feng wasn’t mistaken, he had just used a hammer to smash it and pliers to twist it.

Why was it so simple to forge an omnipotent key?

If nothing unexpected, it should be the power of the system.

After attributing this ability to the system, Lin Feng did not synthesize anything else.

Just as he was about to cook, Little Velociraptor suddenly barked a few times at the pool.

A moment later, water splashed everywhere, and Little Velociraptor tore at the creature in the pool.

Seeing this, Lin Feng quickly picked up his shotgun and walked over.

”What’s wrong?”

Lin Feng walked over and was immediately stunned.

He saw an alligator over a meter long in the pool.

This pool was a bit too small for the alligator.

The alligator couldn’t fully exert its combat power and was covered in wounds from Little Velociraptor’s bites.

Lin Feng stepped forward and fired two shots at the alligator’s head, killing it, and only then did silence return.

”Alligator meat!”

Lin Feng pulled out the sixty to seventy-pound alligator.

”Forget it, processing it in the Elevator would just make a mess everywhere with blood.”

Lin Feng thought for a moment, then went to the screen and listed the alligator on the Exchange.

”Ow!?”

When Little Velociraptor saw the alligator suddenly disappear by Lin Feng, it immediately circled Lin Feng like a curious baby.

”Alright, alright, I’ll go prepare something to eat.”

Lin Feng turned on the induction cooker, took out some beef, and prepared to fry it for himself.

As for Little Velociraptor, Lin Feng threw him a beef bone and a large piece of meat, and he happily gnawed on them.

.......

”Ding! Upgrade mission triggered.

Please upgrade the Elevator to Level 11.

Reward: For the cowhide backpack, the weight of items stored per slot +300 kg.”

”I haven’t even checked how many materials are still needed to upgrade the Elevator.”

Lin Feng, having finished his workout, wiped his sweat and went to the material storage area.

Wood, iron, gold coins, and gold were not lacking.

It was still only copper and aluminum that were missing, 150 kilograms of each.

Besides that, a new item appeared: an upgrade set.

Although only one was needed, Lin Feng had never seen it in the floor world.

Could it be that it would appear in the future?

Just then, Lin Feng suddenly remembered the lucky ring on his hand.

Last time, he seemed to have wished for the next floor to have a lot of materials for upgrading the Elevator, and then he arrived at the Battle Royale floor, and indeed, he later obtained a lot of materials.
