Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Doomsday CityAfter the shrill screams ended, Qin An slowly opened his door. Seeing that his phone had gone black, he walked over and restarted it.

The restarted phone had returned to normal.

Qin An breathed a sigh of relief and returned to his room, dismissing it as a prank video. Otherwise, how could he still be alive? Horror videos were trending now, so it was normal for someone to make a video to scare others.

However, after that incident, Qin An had no interest in playing on his phone. He placed it on the table and went to sleep.

......

Several hours later, Lin Feng was woken up by the system’s notification.

“Ding, the floor the host is about to enter is: Doomsday City. This floor has a large number of zombies and Special Mutants. The host needs to act as a Soldier and survive on this floor for two hours. At that time, he can leave the floor. After successfully leaving the floor, he will receive an upgrade set and an obsidian treasure chest. Hint: The danger level of this floor is relatively high, and no equipment can be brought in. Please proceed with caution, host.”

“Ding, a challenge quest has been triggered. Please, host, severely injure a Special Mutant. Reward: Self-healing. The difficulty level of this floor is too high, so a mission assistance item will be issued: The host can choose one item to bring into this floor.”

After listening to the system’s prompts, Lin Feng slowly lit a cigarette.

The difficulty level is too high? But the rewards are really abundant!

There was also an obsidian treasure chest that he had never seen before.

Moreover, since the system allowed him to choose one piece of equipment to bring in, why wouldn’t he enter this floor?

The chosen equipment was naturally the Charging Pistol.

Lin Feng also had the ability of Still Invisibility. If he really encountered danger, he could just find a place to hide and remain invisible for two hours.

“Ding-dong! Elevator descending, please hold on tight.”

Buzz!

The Elevator began to descend rapidly. Dozens of seconds later, the Elevator slowly stopped. Lin Feng pressed the open door button and then walked out.

After leaving the Elevator, his clothes changed, transforming into a black combat uniform.

In his hand was an HK416 assault rifle.

The Charging Pistol was indeed retained, tucked into his magazine pouch.

He seemed to be in a base now.

Around him were many Soldier wearing the same clothes as him, as well as two tanks and several armed helicopters.

This equipment configuration is pretty good. Aren’t they just some zombies? Why would the system say this floor is very dangerous?

Lin Feng scratched his head in confusion. At this moment, a whistle sounded, and the surrounding Soldier gathered.

Seeing this, Lin Feng also followed.

“Gentlemen, those Marines from the Marine Corps found a Special Mutant in Central Park and are asking for our help. Get your gear ready, get in the vehicles, and move out!”

The officer standing on the tank briefly finished the mission and returned to the tank. Three armed helicopters also took the lead and headed to Central Park.

“Brother, where’s your gas mask? Put it on. Central Park is a heavily infected area.”

A Soldier next to Lin Feng reminded him.

“Thanks!”

Lin Feng said after putting on his gas mask.

“Don’t be nervous. That Special Mutant is very cunning. Seeing so many of us, it will probably flee directly.”

That Soldier patted Lin Feng’s shoulder and said.

Subsequently, the convoy began to move. After leaving this military base, Lin Feng realized that there seemed to be no Doomsday City scene outside!

Cars were driving normally on the roads, and many people were strolling and walking their dogs on the pedestrian streets.

This didn’t look like a Doomsday City scene at all.

However, after the convoy had driven for thirty minutes, Lin Feng saw the Doomsday City he had imagined.

There were crashed cars everywhere and bodies strewn across the ground.

Even the sky here had turned dark red.

Soon, the convoy was completely surrounded by zombies, but with two tanks escorting them and the well-equipped Soldier on the trucks, these zombies did not affect the convoy’s movement.

Lin Feng also fired a magazine of bullets to join in the fun.

He found that these Soldier were incredibly accurate with their shots.

Almost every shot to a zombie was a headshot, and it took at most two bullets to kill a zombie.

This was while shooting from a truck, and their marksmanship was already on par with Lin Feng’s current skill.

With such powerful combat capabilities, and still fearing that Special Mutant, could it be that the Special Mutant was the Hulk??

As they delved deeper, Lin Feng also realized that things were becoming less simple.

Cracks in the ground, abandoned tanks on the roads, and the wreckage of crashed helicopters made Lin Feng feel a sense of crisis.

Suddenly, the convoy stopped. It turned out that Central Park was just ahead. The two tanks took the lead, and the Soldier followed behind.

They arrived at Central Park without much incident along the way.

At this moment, a team of Soldier in camouflage uniforms appeared ahead.

Those Soldier jogged over and saluted Lin Feng and his group.

His military rank seemed to be higher than these Soldier?

The officer who had spoken earlier poked his head out of the tank, looked at the surviving Marine Corps Soldier, and asked, “Where is the Special Mutant?”

“Reporting, sir, after the hunting team arrived, that Special Mutant ran away. The hunting team has already pursued it.”

The hunting team referred to the three armed helicopters; they were specifically responsible for hunting down Special Mutants.

“Hmm.”

The officer nodded coldly, then took out his walkie-talkie and said.

“Maintain vigilance. After twenty minutes of searching, withdraw.”

They had come out this time to kill the Special Mutant. If after twenty minutes they still hadn’t received a reply from the hunting team or found the Special Mutant, they could return to base.

Although zombies kept running over, they were almost instantly killed as soon as they appeared.

However, just as Lin Feng had let out a sigh of relief, a skinless monster suddenly jumped down from the sky.

The monster’s size was already comparable to a tank’s. It jumped down and slammed its palm onto the tank.

Fortunately, the tank only tilted slightly, and the people inside were not injured.

“Fighter! It’s a Fighter! Shoot, shoot!”

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!!

The Soldier carrying guided rockets locked their lasers onto the Fighter.

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep — — — —

Boom!

Two rockets sent the Fighter flying.

The other tank also found a good opportunity to fire.

One shot blew the Fighter into pieces.

The side armor of the tank that was initially hit by the Fighter was severely dented and had to retreat to the base first.

The remaining people continued to search for traces of the Special Mutant near Central Park.
