Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Charge PistolSoon, Lin Feng returned to the scarred-face boss.

”Give me 180 more armor-piercing bullets.”

”Oh, did you make a lot of money?”

After the boss arranged the bullet boxes one by one, he looked at Lin Feng with some curiosity.

Just a moment ago, this young man couldn’t afford armor-piercing bullets, but now he came back to buy so many?

”Just some savings, I think there’s no harm in buying more good bullets for backup.”

Lin Feng didn’t mention that he had cured that person’s ALS and earned a large reward.

He still understood the principle of not revealing one’s wealth.

”Boss, do you have any grenades that match this?”

”Yes, fragmentation and high-explosive, both are the same price, how many do you want?”

”Twenty high-explosive grenades.”

Fragmentation grenades have a longer killing range than high-explosive grenades, but their destructive power is much weaker, so Lin Feng decisively chose high-explosive.

Grenades were quite expensive, two grenades for one gold coin.

At this moment, Lin Feng noticed the weapons displayed in the gun cabinet behind the boss.

However, he didn’t lack guns now; he had obtained a large pile of guns from the last Great Escape that were waiting for him to use.

”That’s it, a total of 28 gold coins, here you go.”

Lin Feng placed the gold coins on the wooden box and then left.

The Trading Floor was very large, offering practically everything for sale. Lin Feng later spent another 15 gold coins to buy a large pile of seasonings and a 25 kg barrel of cooking oil, which was a somewhat acceptable price.

Lin Feng had originally wanted to experience awesome high-tech weapons, but those technological laser guns, Exoskeleton Armor, and the like were ridiculously expensive, often costing several hundred gold coins.

Lin Feng suddenly felt that his current equipment was quite good; laser guns were purely redundant.

It definitely wasn’t that he couldn’t afford them!

He didn’t spend the remaining gold coins recklessly.

He had plenty of food, water, medicine, and firearms and ammunition.

”That’s about it, Little Velociraptor, let’s get ready to go back.”

”Awoo!”

The Velociraptor turned its head and let out a cry, then followed Lin Feng.

Upon returning to the Elevator, Lin Feng directly closed the Elevator door.

Although other people couldn’t see the Elevator, he still felt a bit awkward being inside it.

”Hmm!? This floor counts too?”

The progress for perfectly clearing floors was now only one floor away.

Lin Feng had thought this floor didn’t count.

After putting away all the seasonings and cooking oil, Lin Feng turned on the induction cooker, preparing a rich feast.

...........

Four hours later, Lin Feng sat slumped in a chair, rubbing his stomach.

He was stuffed.

After eating his fill, drinking, and lounging for a while, Lin Feng began to exercise. Now, simply exercising to increase strength was a bit slow for Lin Feng; even with added weights, the improvement was very slow.

So, his daily fitness routine was actually just maintaining a good habit.

”You exercise too! You just lie down after eating every day. Do squats, or you’ll get so fat you won’t be able to run later.”

Lin Feng wiped his sweat and then pulled the Little Velociraptor up.

”Awoo!!”

Although the Little Velociraptor really wanted to lie down, it still had to listen to Lin Feng’s words and began doing squats, mimicking Lin Feng’s movements.

.....

Late at night, Lin Feng woke up from his sleep, checked the time, and realized it was almost time.

After adding some firewood to the fireplace, Lin Feng sat at the workbench, playing with things with great interest.

”Iron sword, axe, torch...”

”Let’s try making a torch.”

Lin Feng looked around and found that a torch was the easiest to make.

Wooden stick, cloth, alcohol/oil.

It was that simple; Lin Feng made one in a few minutes.

This thing, he could even make it without a workbench.

”Just waiting for level ten, then I can craft the items given by the manufacturing system.”

Lin Feng put down the iron hammer in his hand and yawned.

”Beep! The floor the host is about to enter is Ice Age Apocalypse. This floor has 30 Yetis and 10 Raiders. The Raiders are humans with powerful armaments. In the house marked B on the floor, there is a locked box. After opening it, you will receive a Charging Pistol. It is recommended that the host carry Claymore mines.”

”Beep! Mission triggered: Please kill all the Raiders. Reward: A piece of memory metal (the main raw material for manufacturing an omnipotent key).”

Ice Age Apocalypse floor, huh? Lin Feng quickly put on more clothes and also draped one over the Little Velociraptor.

No need to think, it would definitely be freezing outside.

[Ding dong! Elevator descending. Please hold on tight.]

....

A moment later, Lin Feng opened the Elevator door.

As soon as he stepped out, a cold wind hit him.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang — — — —

Bang bang bang bang bang — —

......

The gunshots in the distance attracted Lin Feng’s attention. He got up and ran over to see that the source of the gunshots was his target, the house marked B.

Using the Eagle Eye skill, he could clearly see a group of large, snow-white monsters attacking that house, and the Raiders that the system wanted him to kill should be inside the house.

He didn’t expect that as soon as he arrived, the Yetis would already be fighting the Raiders.

Looking at the situation, the Yetis probably couldn’t defeat the Raiders. He would wait until the Yetis were completely killed before acting against the Raiders.

Lin Feng thought to himself, then slowly approached from the Raiders’ blind spot.

One person and one Velociraptor successfully arrived at a small house next to House B in about ten minutes.

There were only ten Raiders, and all their attention was focused on the Yetis, so naturally, no one noticed Lin Feng.

House B was a single-story bungalow with two exits, but their snowmobiles were parked on Lin Feng’s side, so this group of Raiders would likely exit from this door.

”So this is where the Claymore mines are used.”

Lin Feng chuckled, then inserted the Claymore mine at the doorway and covered it with snow to ensure concealment.

A few more minutes passed, and the gunshots gradually stopped.

All 30 Yetis were killed.

Ten fully armed Raiders walked out of the house, laughing and talking.

Boom!

The Claymore mine exploded instantly.

Countless steel balls shot towards the people in front.

Three Raiders died on the spot.

As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot. Lin Feng directly fired a grenade towards the doorway.

Boom!

Another explosion, taking out three more Raiders.

The remaining four Raiders climbed through the windows, attempting to surround Lin Feng, but Lin Feng’s marksmanship was excellent, and a few bursts of fire eliminated all the remaining Raiders.

”Is that all?”

This group of Raiders’ equipment seemed good, but their combat ability was too poor.

After collecting all the bulletproof vests and guns, Lin Feng entered the house.

The box was under one of the Raider’s corpses.

Their target should have been this box.

”Oh my, how is it a fingerprint lock?”

Lin Feng looked awkwardly at the omnipotent key he had prepared beforehand...

However, when he placed the omnipotent key on the fingerprint verification area, something magical happened!!

The lock, it actually opened!

Click!

As expected of the omnipotent key, it could even open a fingerprint lock!

The omnipotent key, having been used once, automatically disappeared, but the system’s reward later would be the main material for manufacturing an omnipotent key. After upgrading the Elevator, he could just craft one directly at the workbench.

Lin Feng excitedly took the Charging Pistol into his hand.

A thoughtful instruction manual was also attached next to it.

[Charging Pistol: When the trigger is held, the pistol will automatically absorb energy from the air. Releasing the trigger will fire. Power depends on charging time. This weapon is experimental and extremely powerful. Please use with caution.]
