After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1935: Chapter 1939: Intense Stimulation

Although they hadn’t seen each other for five years, Yin Yi had a very vivid impression of Luo Xiaoqian, and since Luo Xiaoqian had been in contact with him before, Yin Yi quickly recognized her as Luo Xiaoqian.

Of course, as a psychologist, Dr. Yin was a smart person, so he didn’t rashly acknowledge Luo Xiaoqian without understanding the situation.

Luo Ke and his subordinates clearly had no good intentions, and who knew what their purpose was.

”You look... familiar.” Dr. Yin Yi replied as he looked at Luo Xiaoqian.

Luo Ke glanced at him and then motioned with his chin to the doctor on the opposite side.

The doctor on the opposite side immediately began to explain to Dr. Yin Yi, ”It’s like this, Dr. Yin, Miss Sissi fainted earlier, and after waking up, she became like this. I even pricked her with a needle, but she showed no reaction. Yet, all her physical indicators are normal, so we would like you to examine her to see if there is any psychological or brain-related issue.”

Dr. Yin Yi walked over, looked at Luo Xiaoqian on the pillow, gently held her arm, and shook it lightly, ”Miss Sissi, can you hear my voice?!”

Luo Xiaoqian’s body swayed a little with his movement, but her face remained expressionless, and there was no change in her gaze.

Seeing her condition, Dr. Yin Yi frowned and looked at the other doctor, ”Why did she faint?”

The doctor glanced at Luo Ke and chose his words cautiously, ”It’s because... she experienced some kind of stimulation... quite... intense stimulation!”

Just seeing the doctor’s hesitant expression, Dr. Yin Yi already guessed that the so-called stimulation was indeed ”extremely intense stimulation.”

Bending down, he lifted Luo Xiaoqian’s eyelids for a look, performed a few simple examinations, and then straightened up, ”I’m sorry, I’m afraid I can’t help you. Her condition would be better checked by a doctor.”

Luo Xiaoqian was clearly in a state of ”self-isolation” after experiencing extremely intense stimulation, which is a very typical psychological phenomenon.

When someone encounters something they cannot accept, like losing a cherished family member, the body may faint as it cannot cope with the blow. When the psyche cannot cope, it results in this state—self-isolating the brain from the external world, becoming like a walking corpse, non-responsive to any stimuli.

Such a state is indeed within the treatment scope of a psychologist. Dr. Yin Yi refused solely to buy an opportunity for Luo Xiaoqian to escape.

If he cured her, she would probably end up like him, trapped on this island, losing her freedom. If Luo Ke agreed to take her to a hospital, once she adjusted herself, she might find a chance to escape his control.

”Can you really not treat her?” Luo Ke, who had been silent, turned to look at Dr. Yin Yi’s face, speaking in a low voice.

Dr. Yin Yi lowered his face, removed his glasses, and pinched the bridge of his nose, ”I’m just a psychologist, not a brain surgeon. Her current condition is not within the range I can treat.”

”I think I can help you.” Luo Ke withdrew his gaze from Dr. Yin Yi’s face, ”Take Mrs. Loh to the Serpent Pavilion.”

Upon hearing the words ”Mrs. Loh,” the glasses in Yin Yi’s hands almost slipped to the ground. He looked sharply at Luo Ke, ”You... you captured my wife?!”
