After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1903: Chapter 1907: Are You Wearing a Bulletproof Vest?

”Okay.” Leng Zirui pushed open the car door. ”I am going to kill someone.”

”Who?” Ah Ke asked anxiously.

Leng Zirui turned his face, squinting slightly as he looked at him, ”What did you say?”

”Oh... nothing.” Ah Ke realized he misspoke and hurriedly waved his hand, ”Do you need me to assist you?”

”No need, you all go back. Don’t wait for me tonight, I won’t return to the hotel.” Leng Zirui lazily stuffed his hands into his pockets, whistling as he walked onto the sidewalk.

Ah Ke closed the car door, hesitated for a moment, then spoke, ”Back to the hotel.”

Leng Zirui casually walked to a supermarket and bought a pack of cigarettes. Watching Ah Ke and the others drive away, he took out a cigarette, playing with it between his fingers as he crossed several streets. After ensuring no one was following, he flagged down a taxi and noticed a hospital by the roadside. He asked the taxi driver to stop and strode into the hospital.

A moment later, he’d changed clothes and walked out holding a small black plastic bag from the hospital, quickly slipping into an alley.

Crossing several streets, he arrived at the hotel where Leng Zimo was staying. Leng Zirui snuck in through the back door, unnoticed, and knocked on Leng Zimo’s room door.

Knowing he was coming, Leng Zimo had deliberately sent all his men away. Hearing the knock, he immediately went over to open the door and let Leng Zirui in.

Leng Zirui brought the plastic bag inside, languidly sitting on the sofa, ”Where are your people?!”

”I’ve already sent them away. The boat and plane are arranged. As far as I know, Luo Ke’s castle is very secure. What’s your plan?” Leng Zimo walked over with him, asking in a low voice.

Leng Zirui quickly laid out his thoughts and plans, ”Luo Ke is very suspicious. After what’s happened before, he’ll definitely be more cautious. I guess he’ll want to confirm the location of your body himself. I’ll find a way to lure him out of the castle, then you all go in and rescue Xiao Qian... My only concern is whether you two can make the rendezvous smoothly.”

Leng Zimo raised his wristwatch, ”You don’t need to worry about that. The necklace you gave Mo Mo is on her, so I can track her movements and location at any time.”

”Who knew, this necklace would come in handy after all.” Leng Zirui nodded and then lifted his face to look at him, ”Are you wearing a bulletproof vest?”

”Yes... why?” Leng Zimo asked, puzzled.

Leng Zirui stood up, throwing the black plastic bag into his arms, ”I prepared this especially for you. Now... as an actor, pretending to be dead shouldn’t be too difficult for you, right?”

Leng Zimo opened the bag and saw several bags of medical blood plasma inside.

Understanding, he immediately took out the plasma and stuffed it inside his suit.

”When are Ah Jiu and the others coming back?”

”Soon, I think.”

Leng Zirui pulled out a gun from his body, screwed a silencer onto the muzzle, ”We have to make a commotion, otherwise, I’m afraid Luo Ke won’t believe it.”

Leng Zimo nodded lightly, ”I understand.”

Leng Zirui raised his face and directly pulled the trigger towards him. A low muffled sound, the bullet shot directly into Leng Zimo’s chest, bursting the blood plasma inside his suit pocket, causing blood to gush out from the damaged suit pocket.

The unexpected incident caught Leng Zimo unprepared, but under the powerful recoil of the bullet, he only stepped back a little.
