After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1909: Chapter 1913: The Most Unique

Before she could approach the knife rack, Luo Ke already tossed the knife from his hand back onto the rack, ”I hope you’ll stay away from things that can harm you, like... knives!”

Luo Xiaoqian sarcastically picked up the egg on the table, ”I just wanted to beat the eggs well.”

Boiling water, opening the packet, and pouring the noodles inside to cook, Luo Xiaoqian skillfully beat the eggs and prepared some other vegetables as side dishes.

Remember, Leng Zimo once made Chinese-style stir-fried spaghetti for her, the taste was not bad, what was the order?

Recalling the way he cooked, Luo Xiaoqian lit the fire and put the flat pan on the stove, beginning to stir-fry the noodles.

Luo Ke watched her cook, his gaze falling on her profile, seeing her focused expression, he couldn’t help but become lost.

The kitchen was never a place Luo Ke would want to be, oil, smoke, ingredients... to him, everything here represented chaos and trouble, but now the word ’kitchen’ had become an acceptable place for Luo Ke.

Luo Ke couldn’t help but step over, standing behind Luo Xiaoqian, looking at the little snow-white, cute earlobes revealed between her hair strands and the skin exposed at her collar, his mouth and tongue had long been dry.

Reaching out his hand, he gently picked up a strand of her hair, sniffing it at the tip of his nose, then, his face moved closer to the back of her neck.

The porcelain-like skin looked very enticing.

First, add oil, then the tomatoes, then should come the spaghetti...

Luo Xiaoqian muttered to herself, quickly stirring the noodles in the pan with the spatula, feeling the sudden close breath from behind, she instinctively dodged to the side, her hand slipped, and the stir-fried noodles almost spilled out.

”What are you doing?!”

Holding the spatula, Luo Xiaoqian looked warily at Luo Ke.

At this time, Leng Zirui had already reached the dining table, hearing the sounds coming from the kitchen, he immediately strode in.

”What’s going on?!”

”Nothing.”

Luo Ke stepped back two paces, saying somewhat displeasedly.

Leng Zirui, being extremely sharp, with one glance at their expressions, his eyes landing on Luo Xiaoqian’s angry face, he had already guessed what was happening.

Sniffing the air, he shrugged slightly, ”Sissi, your noodles... seem to be burnt.”

Luo Xiaoqian snapped out of it, hurriedly turning the noodles in the pan, unable to flare up with Leng Zirui there, especially since she still wanted to hear news about Leng Zimo.

Leng Zirui walked over to Luo Ke’s side, put his arm around his shoulder, and pulled him out of the kitchen.

”With women, you must coax them slowly, it’s just like cooking, you add oil first, slowly heat it, then add the ingredients, stir-frying slowly until all the dishes and noodles soak up the sauce’s flavor, and then you feast.” Sitting Luo Ke down on a chair, Leng Zirui sat beside him, smiling with a great deal of insinuation, ”Think about it, carefully prepared, and thoroughly made, every strand of noodle tasting like meat sauce, that’s the best kind of spaghetti, isn’t it?!”

Luo Ke returned his smile, ”No, Rui, a true chef concocts their own sauce, that’s what makes the spaghetti truly unique.”

”Oh?” Leng Zirui looked at him curiously, ”Tell me more?”

Luo Ke shook his head, ”Every chef has his own special recipe, a recipe that always must remain a secret.”

Even with Rui, Luo Ke still didn’t fully trust him, and of course, wouldn’t tell him about Dr. Yin.
