After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1919: Chapter 1923: It Could Blow Our Cover

A bar in the city.

Leng Zirui found Leng Zimo waiting in the corner.

After leaving the castle, he immediately contacted Leng Zimo, and the two arranged to meet here.

”What’s happening?”

As soon as he saw him, Leng Zimo urgently asked.

Leng Zirui gently shook his head, ”I don’t know, everything was going according to plan, but halfway through, Luo Ke suddenly demanded to stop the car, then turned back to the castle. It seemed he was worried that Xiao Qian might escape. The first thing he did upon returning was to rush to Xiao Qian’s room and ordered his men to seal off the terrace.”

Things happened too suddenly, even Leng Zirui couldn’t figure out why Luo Ke had suddenly changed his mind.

As soon as Leng Zirui’s words fell, Leng Zimo’s phone rang; it was Ah Jiu calling.

”Ah Jiu?” Leng Zimo answered the call.

”Sir, the police are currently searching for your body. What should we do?!” Ah Jiu’s voice was urgent.

Not wanting to expose Leng Zirui’s identity, Leng Zimo didn’t bring them along. At the moment, Ah Jiu and Ah Sang were waiting elsewhere.

Leng Zimo frowned and thought for a moment, then ordered, ”Immediately head to the hospital where my corpse is, and wait for my instructions.”

”What’s happening?” Seeing him hang up, Leng Zirui immediately asked.

”The police are looking for my body. I must handle this, or the whole plan will be exposed.” Leng Zimo stood up from his chair, ”We’ll have to find another way to save Xiao Qian.”

If things aren’t corrected quickly, the police will soon discover it’s a fake shooting. When that happens, news will likely reach Luo Ke, and Leng Zirui will be exposed. Luo Ke will also become suspicious, making it even harder to find a way to rescue Luo Xiaoqian.

Leng Zirui nodded, and the brothers walked out of the bar together, splitting up.

When Leng Zimo arrived at the hospital, Ah Jiu and the others were already waiting for him there.

”I inquired, the police called earlier, and their people should be arriving soon.” Ah Jiu said.

”Prepare some gasoline and similar items.” Leng Zimo took off the ring Luo Xiaoqian had given him from his hand, ”Put this ring on the fake corpse and remember to shoot the corpse a few times.”

Ah Jiu took the ring and immediately headed with Ah Sang towards the morgue.

They put Leng Zimo’s ring on the finger of the male corpse they used to impersonate him, then fired a few shots at the corpse in the same places where Leng Zimo was shot before. They quickly poured gasoline over several nearby corpses and ignited the fire before swiftly leaving.

The fire immediately blazed up, and soon the morgue became a sea of fire.

The fire alarm sounded loudly, and the entire hospital was thrown into chaos, while in the distance on the road, police cars were already approaching.

After a while, the firetrucks arrived to extinguish the flames.

Since the morgue was a separate building, there were no casualties, but the corpses inside were almost completely charred.

After consulting the emergency doctors, Inspector Charlie led his men to the morgue filled with the smell of burning.

”Which one is his body?!”

The staff carefully checked the metal tags hanging above, quickly locating ”Leng Zimo,” and pointed at the corpse that had been burned beyond recognition, ”This is the one!”
