After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1931: Chapter 1935: You Asked for It

[3] You asked for it

In Su’s astonished gaze, Jiao Yang deftly climbed over the railing, waved to her, and immediately ran towards the direction of the back door.

Su stood in place holding the cup in a daze for a while, then raised her hand and smashed the cup against the railing.

”SHIT!”

Jiao Yang heard the sound of the cup shattering behind him, merely curled his lips, bypassed the house to reach the back, and sure enough saw a car parked by the roadside.

Taking a light breath, he quickly walked over.

Just as he extended his hand to pull open the car door, it automatically opened, and four bodyguards jumped out, swiftly surrounding him.

”Mr. Duke requests that you return to the banquet,” one of them politely said.

Jiao Yang pushed the man aside, sat in the car, reached out to start the car, but his hand grasped empty air; the car keys were not in the ignition.

Mom, deceived him!

Realizing this was a trap, Jiao Yang heavily slapped the steering wheel.

”Sir!” The car door was pulled open, ”Please return to the banquet.”

”You want me to return to the banquet?” Jiao Yang casually curled his lips, stepped out of the car, yanked off the bow tie around his neck, and pulled off his jacket, crumpling it into a ball and throwing it to the ground, ”Fine, you can carry me over directly!”

The suit was wrinkled, the bow tie was torn off, and the shirt was pulled open... In such a state, how could he possibly return to the banquet.

The bodyguards, helpless, had to take out their phones and dial Duke of Kent.

”Mr. Duke, Sir... I’m afraid he can’t return to the banquet.”

Duke of Kent directly hung up the phone.

A moment later, Duke of Kent and Jiao Yalin were already in the car arriving at the back door, getting out to see Jiao Yang leaning against the car in a disheveled state, Duke of Kent’s face turned livid.

”Do you know how embarrassed I was just now?”

”You asked for it,” Jiao Yang lazily glanced at him, ”You knew very well that I didn’t want to come.”

”You...” Duke of Kent raised his hand and grabbed Jiao Yang by the collar, lifting his hand to hit.

”Don’t!” Jiao Yalin rushed over, shielding Jiao Yang, and simultaneously said to Jiao Yang, ”Yang Yang, get in the car first.”

Jiao Yang stood in place, unmoved.

”Yang Yang?!” Jiao Yalin turned her face, seeing his expression, she frowned and ordered, ”Take the young master into the car!”

The bodyguards half-supported, half-dragged Jiao Yang into the car, and Jiao Yalin looked at Duke of Kent, ”I won’t let you hit him!”

”You’ve spoiled him since childhood, I knew you’d spoil him!” Duke of Kent said angrily.

”He hasn’t even had the experience of going to the park with his father, if I don’t spoil him, don’t you think he’s too pitiful?!” Jiao Yalin retorted angrily.

Duke of Kent opened his mouth but didn’t speak, only snorted in anger, and turned to sit in the car. Jiao Yalin sat on the other side, and the car drove back to Duke of Kent’s Mansion.

Throughout the journey, Jiao Yang remained silent.

Upon returning home, he went straight down the car and headed to his room.

”Yang Yang!” Jiao Yalin, seeing his displeasure, chased after him up the stairs, ”Listen to me explain...”

”Explain what?” Jiao Yang stopped in his tracks inside the door, ”Explain why you teamed up with him to deceive me?”

His tone was calm, yet filled with deep disappointment.

There’s no fear without hope, but what’s frightening is having high hopes only to be met with disappointment.

He initially thought he could smoothly leave today, yet it turned out to be a deception. How could Jiao Yang not be angry or disappointed?
