After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1904: Chapter 1908: The ‘Bad Kid’ Who Can’t Be Surpassed

Leng Zirui continued firing, several bullets separately shot into the remaining blood bags inside Leng Zimo’s body.

Although he had a bulletproof vest on, the bullets couldn’t penetrate his body, but at such a close distance, the powerful impact still made his eyebrows knit in pain. When Leng Zirui finally shot his chest, Leng Zimo just wobbled and fell sitting on the ground, then lay down on the carpet.

Blowing lazily at the gun’s muzzle, Leng Zirui stepped over to Leng Zimo, looking down at him.

”Brother, you know, I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.”

Leng Zimo frowned, rolling his eyes, ”Did I ever offend you?”

”Of course, you did.” Leng Zirui squatted down in front of him, reached out and flicked some of the blood at Leng Zimo’s face, to dramatize the shooting effect, ”Because you’re too outstanding, everyone compares me with you, even the aunt at the kindergarten in our neighborhood used to say, ah, when Zimo was in kindergarten, he was so sensible, so smart... How this, how that, all in all, you know, when I was little, I always lived in the shadow of you, the genius.”

”Oh, please.” Leng Zimo lay on the carpet looking at him, ”You clearly knew how to do them, yet you purposely wrote the wrong answers, how can you blame me?”

”As you said, I did it intentionally.” Leng Zirui took out his phone from his pocket, ”Anyway, no matter how hard I try, I can’t surpass you, the genius, so I decided to be the ’bad kid’ that you can’t surpass.”

Leng Zimo shrugged his shoulders, ”It’s just a pity that in the end, the one being the ’bad kid’... is me.”

”I am the ’bad kid’ now...” Leng Zirui raised his phone, ”Alright, Mr. Actor, cooperate a bit, show me a ’dead but not at peace’ expression!”

Leng Zimo cooperatively acted dead, and Leng Zirui snapped several shots of him with his phone.

Flipping through the photos on the phone, Leng Zirui nodded in satisfaction, ”No wonder you’re my brother, Leng Zirui, even in death still so handsome?”

”Ah Jiu and Ah Sang should be back soon, you better hurry up and leave.” Leng Zimo urged softly.

Leng Zirui stood up, tucked the phone into his pocket, ”Alright, I’m off then. After I get Luo Ke out of the castle, I’ll find a way to inform you.”

Having finished speaking, he turned and walked toward the door.

”Zirui!” Leng Zimo braced himself against the pain and sat up, ”Don’t let Xiao Qian see those photos. That girl doesn’t know this is fake, if she thinks I’m dead, she won’t be able to handle it.”

”Got it!” Leng Zirui lazily raised his hand, pulling down the brim of his baseball cap, peeped through the door’s peephole to ensure no one was outside, then promptly pulled open the door and stepped into the corridor, disappearing into the safety stairwell a moment later.

Not long after he left, Ah Jiu and Ah Sang returned to the hotel, reporting the progress of the arrangements outside Leng Zimo’s door.

Ah Jiu raised his hand and knocked on the door but received no response.

Puzzled, he glanced at Ah Sang, intensified the force on his hand, and knocked again.

The door opened silently.

Feeling something amiss, Ah Jiu pulled out his gun while pushing open the room door.

”Sir!” Seeing Leng Zimo lying on the ground covered in blood, both Ah Jiu and Ah Sang were shocked, immediately rushing inside, ”Sir, how are you?!”

Leng Zimo turned his face, grabbing Ah Jiu’s wrist, ”Take me to the hospital, also, call the police right away, say I’m dead!”
