After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1907: Chapter 1911: It’s an Honor

Leng Zirui saw Luo Xiaoqian and was quite delighted. He had just been thinking about how to pass information to her, and now she appeared; it must be fate.

He hurried a few steps, stopping in front of Luo Xiaoqian with a cheerful smile, and then extended his palm to her.

”Sissi, it’s nice to see you again.”

Luo Xiaoqian stepped back and ignored his outstretched hand.

Due to Leng Zirui’s previous behavior, Luo Xiaoqian did not have a good impression of him and certainly didn’t want to engage with him.

Regarding Leng Zirui’s attempt to get close to Luo Xiaoqian, Luo Ke was naturally a bit displeased, but seeing Luo Xiaoqian’s aversion towards Leng Zirui, he felt a slight sense of satisfaction. With a gentle and indulgent tone, he asked, ”What would you like to eat? I’ll have the maid bring it up.”

”No need, I’ll go myself. I want to make something to eat,” Luo Xiaoqian immediately refused.

If possible, she would prefer never to have any interaction with Luo Ke again, and she certainly didn’t want to accept his favor, plus those Western meals weren’t appetizing to her.

”Miss Sissi, you wouldn’t mind if I join you for a late-night snack, would you?” Leng Zirui quickly insisted with a smile, ”I just happened to want to talk to you about ’Emperor Leng’.”

Leng Zimo?!

Luo Xiaoqian looked at Leng Zirui with a guarded expression, ”What do you mean?”

”I’m so hungry I tend to forget things. I need to fill up before I can think,” Leng Zirui said with a smile.

”ROY!” Luo Ke exclaimed, displeased.

Leng Zirui pretended not to notice the threat in his tone, his eyes smiling as he looked at Luo Xiaoqian, ”Miss Sissi, you don’t mind, right?”

Luo Xiaoqian didn’t know what Leng Zirui meant by mentioning Leng Zimo, but worried about Leng Zimo, she couldn’t pass up the potential information. She immediately said, ”Why don’t both of you come and taste my cooking?”

Even though she found these two guys annoying, Luo Xiaoqian still graciously extended the invitation, hoping to get some news about Leng Zimo, barely managing to tolerate them tasting her food.

”I’d be honored!”

Leng Zirui replied with a smile, then shot Luo Ke a glance, trying to take credit.

The two men headed downstairs, with Luo Xiaoqian leading the way. Leng Zirui intentionally lagged behind, pulling Luo Ke’s arm, ”You see, women are actually quite gullible, easy to persuade. Don’t say I didn’t teach you a thing or two!”

He didn’t want Luo Ke to misunderstand him as trying to win over Luo Xiaoqian; provoking Luo Ke’s hostility would be counterproductive.

Luo Ke did initially misinterpret this, feeling a surge of anger, but upon hearing what Leng Zirui said, his anger subsided a bit.

Though he refused to admit it, Luo Ke had to acknowledge that ROY was quite adept with women.

It was only Roy’s second meeting with Luo Xiaoqian, and she had agreed to cook for him. This was a first for Luo Ke.

The three of them entered the kitchen, and the maid quickly rushed up in a fluster, ”Sir, do you need anything?”

Luo Ke motioned towards Luo Xiaoqian with his chin, ”Ask the lady.”

The two maids hurried towards Luo Xiaoqian.

At this point, Luo Xiaoqian had already opened the refrigerator, frowning slightly at the ingredients inside.

In terms of cooking skills, she was far worse than Leng Zimo, barely capable of making something that wouldn’t leave her hungry.
