After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1922: Chapter 1926: It’s as Beautiful as You

Leng Zirui carefully took out the ring from his pocket, wiped it clean with a handkerchief, and then dialed Leng Zimo’s number, ”Brother, I got the ring back for you.”

This ring was personally made by Luo Xiaoqian for Leng Zimo back in the day. It was a birthday gift and also their engagement ring. Whether for Luo Xiaoqian or Leng Zimo, it was an extremely important item. Leng Zirui knew that Leng Zimo would never be willing to leave the ring at the police station.

Worried that his subordinates might mishandle things, Leng Zirui took matters into his own hands to get the ring back for him.

On the other end of the phone, Leng Zimo had no interest in discussing the ring, ”Zirui, come to the dock immediately, Luo Ke is trying to take Xiao Qian away!”

”What?!” Leng Zirui was shocked upon hearing this and immediately straightened up, speaking to the taxi driver in Italian, ”Turn around and take me to the dock, quickly.”

...

...

The weather was a bit gloomy, and the wind blowing in from the sea made it feel a little chilly, even in summer.

The car slowly stopped at the dock. As the door opened, Luo Xiaoqian stepped out, and the sea breeze made her shiver uncontrollably. Instinctively, she tightened her coat around her.

”Are you cold?!” Luo Ke asked with concern.

”I’m fine,” Luo Xiaoqian replied indifferently, glancing around.

It was late at night. Although the dock was lit, there was no one in sight. The ships docked in the water were all dark, except for a medium-sized yacht with its lights on. At this time, two people on the yacht jumped ashore and quickly approached Luo Ke and his group, stopping to greet him when they were still two steps away.

”Sir.” Luo Ke nodded slightly and extended his arm to support Luo Xiaoqian’s arm, ”Sissi, let’s get on board.”

”Where exactly are we going?” Luo Xiaoqian asked with a frown.

Luo Ke had mentioned earlier that he wanted to take her to a nearby place. As the car headed towards the dock, she thought he would take her to a seaside villa or something. Little did she expect that he would bring her to the dock.

”I promise you’ll like it there,” Luo Ke replied with a smile.

Luo Xiaoqian felt unwilling in her heart, yet had no choice. She shook off his arm and boarded the boat herself, sitting down on the sofa inside the cabin.

”Don’t tell anyone about this,” Luo Ke instructed the butler in a deep voice before jumping back onto the boat. A few of his subordinates immediately followed him on board, entering the yacht’s cabin. The yacht started immediately, heading into the depths of the sea.

The yacht moved forward swiftly, soon leaving the coast far behind.

Luo Xiaoqian frowned as she gazed out at the dark sea and the receding lights of the coastline.

What on earth was Luo Ke planning to do with her?

”An island.” Luo Ke suddenly spoke, sitting across from her. ”From tonight on, I’ll name it after you, Sissi Island. Do you like it?”

An island?!

He even wants to name it after her?

So, does that mean this island belongs to him?

In that case, wouldn’t it be even harder for Leng Zimo to rescue her?

”I don’t like the island, let’s go back to the castle. I prefer it there,” Luo Xiaoqian said.

”No, you will like it...” Luo Ke smiled indulgently at her, ”I can assure you, because it’s as beautiful as you are!”
