After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1693: Chapter 1697: My Biggest Hobby Is Feeding Fish

”My name is Mo Bei, ’Mo’ as in ’mysterious,’ and ’Bei’ as in ’north.’ Age: 22 years old, Gender: Female, Sexual orientation: Straight. My highest education level: Dual Master’s degree in Performing Design and Practice, and Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. I’ve been working at EMI since I started university, ranging from being an agent to a planner and finally an assistant to the president. I have varied interests but am always serious and responsible when it comes to work. My biggest hobby is feeding fish, especially piranhas, so...” Mo Bei playfully winked at him, ”President Jiao, choosing me is definitely the right choice!”

Jiao Yang chuckled softly, ”When can you start working?!”

Mo Bei laughed, ”Anytime.”

”Well... let’s start now.” Jiao Yang stood up, ”Mo Bei, welcome to Asia View.”

Standing up and walking over, Mo Bei extended her hand and shook his lightly, ”Thank you, President Jiao, for this opportunity. I will certainly cherish it.”

”By the way, what’s the story with you and Amy?” Jiao Yang asked.

Mo Bei grinned mischievously, ”Nothing much, just last night I asked ’my brother’ to call Sister Amy and have her look out for me a bit. Unexpectedly, Sister Amy was really helpful.”

While waiting for the interview outside earlier, Mo Bei had already noticed the crowd of oddballs. It was obvious that Amy deliberately gave her an advantage to prevent anyone from competing with Mo Bei for this position.

In fact, their speculation wasn’t wrong. Today’s exceptional applicant lineup was precisely Amy’s deliberate doing. Previously, Amy had a good impression of ”Mo Wen,” and upon hearing that his sister was applying to the company, she naturally did everything she could to help.

Jiao Yang shrugged, ”Then whose credentials did you use this time?”

Mo Bei raised her hand, pointing to her nose, ”President Jiao, take a good look, the person standing in front of you is Mo Bei, absolutely without a doubt. If you don’t trust the credentials I’ve mentioned, you can verify them at my school and EMI company. This time, I’m using entirely my own real credentials.”

”Are you really 22 years old?!” Jiao Yang looked at her face seriously.

He didn’t particularly doubt her dual master’s degrees or her work experience.

Although Jiao Yang hadn’t known Mo Bei for long, his understanding of her was considerable. This girl may be hopeless when it comes to cooking, but her knowledge is indeed extensive. During her brief stint at Asia View, she has already demonstrated exceptional work capabilities and professionalism. Even if he occasionally spit out a very obscure Latin classical music term during meetings, she would smoothly translate it.

Those things can’t be faked.

However, regarding her age, he always thought she wouldn’t be over 20.

Firstly, because Mo Bei naturally has a baby face, and secondly because her behavior is somewhat childish.

”Well...” Mo Bei took her credentials from the table and handed them to him, ”See, birthday July 27th, only slightly more than a month away.”

”Alright then.” Jiao Yang shrugged, ”Looks like I was mistaken.”

”How old did you think I was?” Mo Bei asked curiously.

Jiao Yang walked out with her, teasingly saying, ”I originally thought you could call me uncle!”

”You’re not that old.” Mo Bei pouted, ”We’re only six years apart.”
