After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1656: Chapter 1660: I Knew My Wife Loves Me Most

Carefully helping Bastard Leng Zirui clean his hands and face, noticing the blood on his arm, she naturally lifted the thin blanket covering him and gently wiped the blood stains from his body.

By this time, the effects of the anesthetic on Bastard Leng Zirui had begun to wear off, and he had already awakened.

Slowly opening his eyes, feeling her gentle movements, he simply lifted the corners of his lips in a smile.

Xu Xia didn’t know he was awake and carefully helped him pull the thin blanket back over him. She carried the towel into the restroom, washed it clean, and then came out again, holding the towel in one hand while naturally pulling back the blanket with the other.

She helped him carefully clean his back, then pulled the blanket down a bit to wipe his waist. Looking at the blanket already pulled down to his waist, she really didn’t have the courage to go further, so she turned to the foot of the bed to wipe his legs.

Leaning on the hospital bed, turning his face sideways to look at her, Bastard Leng Zirui just chuckled lightly, ”I almost thought you’d take the opportunity to check the size!”

Hearing his voice, Xu Xia originally turned her face in surprise, but upon hearing the latter part of the sentence, her little face flushed even more red, immediately giving him a glare, ”I’m not interested!”

”Who was it just now saying they wanted to have my children?!” Bastard Leng Zirui laughed and retorted.

”Don’t misunderstand, I only said that out of pity, thinking you were about to die!” Xu Xia lifted the blanket to cover his feet, grabbed the towel, and stormed into the restroom, throwing the towel into the sink in a huff, washing it vigorously, ”Bastard Leng Zirui, I’ll strangle you!”

She even helped him wash, and this bastard woke up just to provoke her!

After washing for a long time, the blood stains on the towel still wouldn’t come off, so in a fit of rage, she just threw the towel into the trash.

Splashed water on her face, she finally came out of the restroom with a cold face.

Seeing her come out, Bastard Leng Zirui immediately said, ”Wife, I’m thirsty!”

Xu Xia rolled her eyes at the ceiling, pretending not to hear.

Trying to use the old trick again?

She’s not falling for it!

”Well then, I’ll pour it myself!” Bastard Leng Zirui pretended to get up.

Xu Xia glared at him fiercely, ”Alright, stop acting, I’ll get it for you, okay?!”

Bastard Leng Zirui smirked, ”I knew my wife cares about me the most!”

Looking at his pale face, Xu Xia was defenseless against his verbal trickery. Reluctantly, she let him have his way, used a paper cup to get some water for him, and ran outside to find a nurse to get a straw, placing it in the cup, and then carefully brought it to his lips.

Bastard Leng Zirui just took one sip and frowned, ”It’s too hot!”

Impossible, she had just tasted it earlier!

Xu Xia suspiciously brought it to her lips, took a sip, and the water was just slightly warm at most, how could it be hot?

”It’s not hot?!”

”You just took too small a sip, take a big one!”

Xu Xia took a big sip through the straw, catching the smile at the corner of his lips, she just raised an eyebrow, ”Bastard Leng Zirui, are you messing with me on purpose again?!”

Bastard Leng Zirui’s gaze fell tenderly on her chapped lips, ”Dummy, you haven’t drunk water for several hours, aren’t you thirsty?!”

”You...” She instinctively wanted to retort, but only managed to say the word ”you” before she suddenly realized that he was deliberately saying this to make her drink water. The angry words on her lips just got stuck in her throat, unable to come out.

Seeing her eyes start to well up with tears again, Bastard Leng Zirui just frowned, reached out to gently hold her hand, ”I said it wrong, my Xiao Xia Xia isn’t dumb at all. Aside from being the world’s smartest Bastard Leng Zirui, you’re the second smartest person in the world!”

”You’re so annoying!” Xu Xia couldn’t help but laugh out loud, rolled her eyes at him, then put the straw back to his lips, ”Drink!”
