After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1692: Chapter 1696: Haven’t We Met Somewhere Before?

Early morning.

Jiao Yang, as usual, walked into the office on time, went to the wall, and put the small fish and shrimp he was carrying into the fish tank.

These days, this is the first thing he does when he arrives at the office every day.

The piranhas in the tank immediately surged forward, chomping without reservation.

Watching them eat, Jiao Yang just frowned.

The way this creature eats is too fierce; no girl in the office is willing to take this task, so he had no choice but to take on the job himself.

A soft knock came at the door, and Assistant Amy walked in from outside, holding a stack of documents.

”President Jiao, everyone is here. When do you want to start the interviews?!”

”Right away!”

Jiao Yang strode out of the office.

After Mo Bei resigned, the company issued a new recruitment notice, and this morning he specially set aside a day for interviews.

As a president, it’s really inconvenient to work without a capable assistant.

The two of them walked into the small meeting room, Jiao Yang went in and sat at the table, and Amy started calling people from outside.

”Shen Ziyang!”

A moment later, a young boy with glasses and a fair face walked in.

Jiao Yang looked over his information, ”Have you ever had a pet?”

”We have a dog at home.”

”Are you brave?”

”Pretty much... It’s just...” The boy smiled sheepishly, ”I’m a bit afraid of blood, otherwise nothing much.”

”Sorry.” Jiao Yang set down the documents in his hand, ”You may not be suitable for this job.”

Next, the next candidate.

This time, it was a very beautiful girl, looking at her infatuated expression towards him, Jiao Yang didn’t even look at her information and directly PASSED.

Continuing, the next one.

This time, it was a boy, wearing tight pants, walking with a snake-like waist, and when he spoke, he lifted his orchid fingers.

Then, the next one.

It was a girl, wearing revealing clothes; when she talked, she deliberately leaned forward, and Jiao Yang was very worried that her dress would be torn by her own chest, so, PASS.

PASS.

PASS.

...

Jiao Yang frowned and looked at Amy beside him, ”Are these the assistants you chose for me?!”

”Don’t get angry; there’s one more!” Amy smiled at him, stood up, and walked out of the meeting room.

A moment later, there was a light sound of footsteps.

The door was pushed open, a pair of high-heeled shoes walked in slowly, and approached him.

”President Jiao, hello!”

Hearing the voice that seemed familiar, Jiao Yang, who originally had little hope, naturally lifted his gaze. The other person was moving towards the opposite chair, so the face was unclear, only a back could be seen.

A well-fitted pair of white pants, a black silk shirt, and long hair tied into a neat ponytail.

The figure in the back was tall and slender.

Noticing the two small earrings sparkling slightly on her left ear, Jiao Yang slightly raised the corner of his lips.

At this time, the applicant had also turned her face, and sat on the chair, a delicate little face also smiling.

”President Jiao, can we start?”

Jiao Yang lazily leaned back against the chair, looking at the familiar face, ”It seems we have met somewhere?!”

”You must know my brother, Mo Wen, he was your assistant before, and later... you fired him!” She hooked the corner of her lips, ”My brother said you’re a good boss, so he recommended me to apply here!”

Jiao Yang chuckled lightly, ”Alright, then, introduce yourself.”
