After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 834: Chapter 838: Now, Immediately, Right Away...

”I want you!”

He said in her ear, his voice soft yet domineering, leaving no room for refusal.

Impatient to take her upstairs, lacking the patience to unbutton her clothes one by one, he raised his hand to grab her spring outfit and forcefully yanked it.

Bam!

The crystal buttons flew off, one bouncing on the floor, hopping a few times before rolling under the sofa, another landing on the coffee table, eliciting a crisp sound.

But he did not hear it, nor did she.

In their ears, only their own and each other’s heartbeats and breaths could be heard, heartbeats so intense, breaths so heavy and urgent.

Leng Zimo carefully laid her flat on the sofa, his fingers ready to pull away her final restraint.

On the floor, the phone within the coat he had thrown aside abruptly buzzed.

Leng Zimo ignored it, lightly exerting his strength, about to pull off her small garment.

At the sound of the phone, Luo Xiaoqian suddenly snapped back to reality.

Oh, God!

What was she doing?!

How could she be doing this with him right now...

No, no, not now, it cannot be...

”No, not now...” Like she had been shocked, Luo Xiaoqian jumped up from the sofa, not even bothering to straighten her clothes, she pushed him away and ran out of his living room in chaos.

She grabbed the car door, unable to move it, in her panic, she had forgotten her keys.

”Sissi!”

Leng Zimo took large strides after her.

At his voice, she frantically let go of the car door handle, turned and ran toward the direction of the bushes.

When Leng Zimo chased after her, he saw her carrying a pair of high heels, running on the lawn towards the woods.

Looking at her figure, he instinctively called out her Chinese name.

”Xiao Qian!”

He rushed down the steps, intending to catch up with her, but the moment he uttered her name, his head split with pain once more.

”Damn it!”

Clutching his seemingly cracking head, Leng Zimo cursed in frustration.

Luo Xiaoqian ran into the woods, finally stopping, panting. Turning, she looked through the gaps between the trees, from a distance, she saw him squatting in front of his house, holding his head with both hands, though she couldn’t see his face clearly, his posture revealed his pain.

”Zimo!”

Instinctively wanting to run back, Luo Xiaoqian took two steps before hurriedly stopping.

By then, Leng Zimo had already stood up, pressing his temples, walking back into the house. Watching his figure disappear through the door, Luo Xiaoqian knelt down powerlessly, ”Zimo, I’m sorry, I can’t right now, I can’t because I’m scared, scared you’ll remember me... Wait for me, wait until I resolve those matters, I’ll be yours, however you want...”

To return to his side, she had waited five years, she couldn’t let everything be ruined due to a moment’s indulgence.

Leng Zimo was never one to easily indulge himself, in the five years she wasn’t there, he remained as before, never causing any scandal.

She knew it was because of her, he lost control only because of her.

She trusted him, even if he didn’t remember her, he would love her because he had said, he would always belong to her, always, she believed it.

Thus, she feared, feared that being close to her would make him remember everything.

”Zimo, wait a little longer, just a little longer, I’ll come back, I’ll come back to make it up to you.”

Pressing her lips and biting her teeth, she straightened her back and walked towards her villa.

She did not cry, as long as he loved her, she would have courage, the strength to move forward.
