After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 802: Chapter 806: I am Mother Mo Mo

Luo Jun lifted his face, his eyes filled with anticipation, ”Can I see him again?”

”Of course, you definitely can.” Luo Xiaoqian nodded earnestly, ”Mom guarantees it!”

”Okay.” The little guy immediately smiled with satisfaction.

Although John and Uncle Mike were around, he still liked Leng Zimo the most, because that man was Chinese like him. His mom had said that his dad was also Chinese. He guessed that his dad must be tall and handsome like Uncle Zimo, with big warm hands and a warm chest that smelled like chocolate.

The little guy fell asleep. Seeing the smile on his delicate face, Luo Xiaoqian gently got up, kissed his forehead, and her gaze fell on his pink lips. She bent down again and kissed them lightly.

She turned off the bedside lamp and watched him in the dark for a while before finally getting up and walking out the door. In the hallway, John had already changed into loose sportswear.

”How is MOMO?”

”He’s asleep.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled at him, ”You should sleep too.”

”Good night.”

John nodded lightly and turned to return to his room.

Luo Xiaoqian walked into Luo Jun’s room, took the photo Leng Zimo had given him off the record shelf, and her fingers gently traced over his signature. She smiled, with tears glistening in her eyes.

Four years had passed, and her son had finally seen his biological father, even in this way. It was enough to delight her.

After a long while, she placed the record back on the shelf and then headed downstairs.

On the coffee table in front of the sofa was the cake she had half-eaten.

Sitting on the sofa, she curled her legs, and carefully held the cake, eating it in small bites.

The rich chocolate flavor melted in her mouth, very much like the taste she remembered from that man.

Her eyes fell on Leng Zimo’s business card on the table. She picked it up, thought for a moment, then took her phone from the table, and after much consideration, edited and sent a text message.

Even though they were strangers, sending a gift to her child and standing up for him required at least a thank you. It was basic courtesy.

Of course, Luo Xiaoqian had her own ulterior motives.

Even if she couldn’t see him or talk to him, it would be nice to exchange text messages!

Lakeside Villa.

Leng Zimo stepped out of the bathroom after a shower and heard his phone buzzing. He dried his hair and walked over to pick up his phone.

A text message and an unfamiliar number were displayed on the screen.

He raised an eyebrow in confusion and opened the message box.

”This is Mo Mo’s mother. Thank you for the gift you gave to Mo Mo and for your trouble.”

Thinking of that adorable little boy, Leng Zimo smiled faintly and swiftly typed, ”How is Mo Mo?” and sent it.

He really liked that boy. Although Shen Yizhou had already reassured him that the boy was fine, Leng Zimo still couldn’t quite let go of his worry.

”He is fine, already asleep.”

”That’s good.” He typed three words, then thought for a moment and added a few more lines, ”Mo Mo is a great and sensible boy and didn’t trouble me at all. Tonight’s incident wasn’t his fault, so please don’t scold him.”

Looking at Leng Zimo’s text message, Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t help but smile.

She knew this man very well. His willingness to say so much for Mo Mo showed that he truly liked him.

This alone was enough to make Luo Xiaoqian feel gratified.
