After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 819: Chapter 823: Breakfast Made by Mother and Child

”Of course, but I have work this weekend, I’m afraid I can’t join you.” Luo Xiaoqian lied softly. Fortunately, over the phone, she didn’t have to worry about him seeing the slight panic in her expression.

”It’s okay, I happen to be free this weekend. As long as you’re okay with me taking care of him.” Leng Zimo.

”Then I’ll trouble you.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled. On this day, he was perhaps the person she trusted the most.

”Alright, let’s talk again over the phone on the weekend, goodbye.”

”Goodbye... and good night.”

”Good night.”

Leng Zimo replied politely and hung up the phone.

Little did he know, his casual ”good night” was like a bright constellation to her.

Just those two words were enough to warm her for the entire night.

...

...

In the blink of an eye, the weekend.

Early in the morning, the little guy got up. Yesterday he had already called Leng Zimo and arranged to go to the Forbidden City together, he was too excited to sleep.

While having breakfast, he kept asking Luo Xiaoqian what time it was.

Seeing his anxious look, Luo Xiaoqian chuckled lightly, ”It’s only seven-thirty now, there’s still half an hour to go, don’t rush.”

Luo Jun hugged his cup and drank the milk inside, ”I wonder if Uncle Zimo has had breakfast.”

He said it casually, but Luo Xiaoqian took it to heart. She thought for a moment and then stood up.

”I’ll make breakfast for Uncle Zimo, and you can bring it to him, okay?”

”Okay.” The little guy immediately agreed with a smile and jumped down from the chair, ”Mom, what will you make for Uncle Zimo?”

Luo Xiaoqian opened the fridge and looked inside. The past few days, she had been busy with the new company and hadn’t had time to stock up on groceries.

”Egg sandwiches, then you can bring him a box of milk, how about that?”

”Mom, remember to add vegetables. The teacher said, to have more nutrients, we need to eat more vegetables.” The little guy reminded.

”No problem!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled as she took out some lettuce from the fridge.

”Can I help wash them, Mom?” The little guy volunteered.

”Sure.” Luo Xiaoqian handed the vegetables to him, ”Remember to wash them very clean, otherwise Uncle Zimo might get a stomachache.”

The little guy agreed and carried the vegetables to the sink, turned on the faucet, and carefully washed them piece by piece. Luo Xiaoqian took out the bread and heated it in the oven, then turned on the stove to fry two eggs.

Soon, the egg lettuce sandwiches were ready.

She wrapped the sandwiches in oil paper, then heated a bottle of milk and poured it into a thermos, packed everything in a small tote bag, and then instructed John to take Luo Jun to the neighborhood entrance.

”Remember, let Uncle Zimo eat while it’s warm, and...”

”Listen to Uncle Zimo, don’t throw tantrums, drink more water, don’t run around. If I get lost, I will stay where I am, if I can’t find help I will find a police officer and tell them Mom’s phone number...” The little guy parroted her instructions. ”Did I say it right, Mom?”

”Absolutely correct.” She bent down and kissed his little face, then personally saw the two off at the door.

”Are you sure you don’t need me to follow MOMO?” John asked.

Luo Xiaoqian nodded, ”It’s okay, just hand him over to Zimo.”

She had hired bodyguards for Luo Jun since he was little because she had always been worried about his safety. But with Mo Mo and Zimo together, she could be completely at ease. She knew Zimo’s nature; the people he cared about, he would protect absolutely.
