Chapter 808: Chapter 812 You Can Ask Uncle Zimo

”That’s because you must have seen the movie.” Luo Xiaoqian quickly explained, ”Well... Mr. Leng, I still have some work to do here, I’ll... call you back later, goodbye.”

Quickly hanging up the phone, Luo Xiaoqian hugged her phone and let out a long sigh.

Her heart was pounding in her chest, and her fingers holding the phone were trembling.

On the other end, Leng Zimo listened to the busy tone in the phone, lowered his hand holding the phone, and sat back at his desk, his eyes still fixed on the documents on the computer screen as he kept repeating the name.

”Sissi? Princess Qianqian?!”

As a filmmaker, he had of course seen the entire ”Princess Qianqian” trilogy and had a deep impression of the image of Princess Qianqian in the film.

Probably, it was because of that movie that her name felt familiar, right?

Leng Zimo picked up the phone, pulled out the call log, and saved Luo Xiaoqian’s phone number into his contacts, typing in the name ”Sissi.”

The desk phone rang, and Leng Zimo answered it, soon immersing himself in his work once again.

...

...

The lakeside villa.

Luo Xiaoqian pushed open the music room door, ”It’s time, shall we go for a walk?”

Luo Jun had a genuine love for the piano and music. Initially, Luo Xiaoqian hadn’t specifically required him to learn the piano at such a young age, but this little guy was indeed talented in this area, enjoying playing on her piano from a young age.

Seeing his love for it, Luo Xiaoqian naturally started teaching him. Now, Luo Jun practices piano without her prompting and does it entirely on his own.

After coming back from kindergarten, he would actively go to the music room to play the piano, instead, it was Luo Xiaoqian who was concerned he might get tired, so she would have John ensure he didn’t practice for too long.

Luo Xiaoqian cherished the time spent with her son. Whenever she was at home, she would accompany him for a walk after dinner, whether in the United States or here, it was always the same.

Both of them dressed in loose casual clothes and walked out of the house, with John dutifully following at a distance.

They walked along the small stone path through the grassy field, mother and son entering the woods. They walked through the forest path until they reached the lakeside.

”Mo Mo, do you want to be in a movie?”

Luo Xiaoqian remembered what Leng Zimo had mentioned and asked while walking with him.

”A movie?” Luo Jun was squatting by the roadside, observing a small wildflower growing out of a crack in a stone. Hearing her question, he turned his face with confusion, ”What movie?”

”It’s that movie ”Magic Realm” I took you to see before, do you remember?”

”Uncle Zimo?” The little guy got excited, ”Is it the movie where they can fly around on swords?”

He was still young, not understanding what xianxia or what flying swords were. What impressed him most were those beautiful clothes and scenes of flying and fighting in the movie.

Luo Xiaoqian laughed, ”Yes, that’s the movie.”

Luo Jun stood up, ”Can I have a flying sword too?”

”Well...” Luo Xiaoqian shook her head gently, ”Mommy isn’t sure, but you can ask Uncle Zimo.”

”Uncle Zimo?” Luo Jun’s eyes lit up, ”Is he going to act in the movie with me?”

”I don’t know if he will play a role, but this time, it’s Uncle Zimo who called to invite you. If you go, you will definitely see him.” Luo Xiaoqian squatted down, looking into her son’s eyes, ”Do you want to go?”
