After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 803: Chapter 807 Actor Auditions

”No matter what, thank you very much for tonight. I won’t disturb your rest anymore. Good night.” Luo Xiaoqian typed ”good night” reluctantly and pressed the send button.

This time, Leng Zimo’s reply was very quick, and the content was extremely simple, only two words, without any punctuation.

”Good night.”

He was only concerned about Luo Jun himself, texting with an unfamiliar woman was not something he liked to do.

Holding the slightly warm phone in her hand, Luo Xiaoqian took a gentle breath.

”Zimo, good night.”

...

...

Emperor View, sixteenth floor.

Inside the audition room for actors of ”Magic Realm 2”.

On one side of the room, Leng Zimo sat in the center, surrounded by assistant director Zhou Ping and several staff members of the crew.

Due to the outstanding success of ”Magic Realm”, the company’s board decided last year to continue with ”Magic Realm 2”. The entire filming process has been ongoing for a while.

A group of scenes featuring the protagonist during childhood required a child actor. Although there were only a few scenes, they were crucial to the whole film because the protagonist’s personality from childhood significantly influenced the entire story.

Leng Zimo has always had extremely high standards, and this time was no exception. As the producer of ”Magic Realm 2,” he personally took charge of selecting such an important role.

Obviously, this was the final selection. Among more than a thousand boys chosen nationwide, after rigorous filtering, only ten remained to stand in front of Leng Zimo.

At this moment, Leng Zimo’s expression was not pleasant.

Previously, he had already seen seven boys. Although several of them were quite exquisite and pretty, after all, they were only four years old. It’s difficult for them to exhibit the steady demeanor he was looking for. Having seen seven, he rejected all seven.

”President Leng, there are three more, please take a look at them.”

Seeing Leng Zimo’s dissatisfaction with the results, assistant director Zhou Ping inevitably felt somewhat uneasy.

Leng Zimo turned over the remaining three profiles in his hand.

”Next one.”

Zhou Ping quickly stood up, ”Next one, next one, Xia Ze.”

The door opened, and a young mother led a very cute little boy in a small suit into the room, approaching Leng Zimo and the others.

The little boy had a delicate face and his big, clear eyes were very expressive. Leng Zimo slightly straightened his posture, ”What’s your name?”

The young mother immediately spoke up, ”This is my son, Xia Ze...”

”I’m asking him.” Leng Zimo frowned slightly, interrupting her.

The young mother was stunned for a moment, then quickly crouched down, ”Zeze, speak up, Uncle Zimo is asking you a question.”

The little boy, Xia Ze, lifted his small face and looked at Leng Zimo behind the desk. Their eyes met, the little guy sniffled, his little mouth quivered, and then he burst into tears.

Hearing his cry, the initial interest that had risen in Leng Zimo’s heart instantly vanished.

The young mother hurriedly comforted her son, ”Sorry, my Zeze is a bit timid. As long as I’m holding him, it’s fine. Zeze, don’t cry, mom’s here...”

Leng Zimo frowned tightly.

This little boy had the right look and aura, but being so timid and needing to be held by his mother, there’s no way he could handle the wire work required for filming. Being so scared, it’s impossible to make it work.
