After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 810: Chapter 814: He Wanted to See Her Face Clearly

”I don’t have any special requirements, I just hope his safety can be ensured and the work schedule isn’t too tight.”

”No problem at all, I’ll make the arrangements. See you tomorrow then.”

Luo Xiaoqian quickly said, ”I’m afraid I can’t come in person tomorrow. I’ll have my assistant Mike take Mo Mo there, he can make decisions on my behalf.”

”Alright, if there’s anything, I’ll contact you by phone.”

Luo Xiaoqian agreed and handed the phone back to Luo Jun, ”Mo Mo, say goodbye to your uncle.”

”See you tomorrow, Uncle Zimo.”

”Alright, see you tomorrow.”

After hanging up the phone, Luo Xiaoqian instructed John to accompany Mo Mo and Mike to the audition at Emperor View tomorrow.

The mother and son walked through the woods to the lakeside. The little guy was throwing small stones into the lake while curiously asking Luo Xiaoqian about the filming.

Even after their walk, when they returned to the villa, the little guy was still talking about the Flying Sword, clearly very excited.

The night passed uneventfully.

Early the next morning, Luo Xiaoqian got up early, put on her workout clothes, and went for a run by the lake.

Over the years, to take care of her son and have a healthy body to handle the heavy workload, she had long developed the habit of getting up early.

She took out her bicycle, rode past the trees, and stopped by the lakeside. Leaving the bike casually on the ground, she did some simple leg stretches to warm up, then got back on the bike and rode along the path by the lake.

She sang as she rode.

This method was something Leng Zimo had taught her to practice her breath control.

Over the years, although singing was no longer her main profession, she still persisted in this practice.

Even though she had given birth to a child, she had kept up her exercise routine, and with dancing, her body had not changed at all. Compared to five years ago, she was just a bit fuller, and her body now perfectly proportioned. Even in an ordinary gray tracksuit, her tall and slender figure looked as if it came straight from a magazine.

In the villa on the other side of the lake, Leng Zimo also stepped out in his workout clothes. Exiting the garden gate, he strolled to the lakeside, doing his morning warm-up exercises.

Hearing a song coming from somewhere, he instinctively looked up.

Through the lake water, he clearly saw a figure slowly riding along the lakeside, the song coming from her.

The light gray workout clothes outlined her tall, slim body. Her ponytail swayed gently with the motion of her ride. He couldn’t see her features from such a distance, but the blurred figure inexplicably tugged at his heart.

He wanted to see her face clearly!

This strong desire arose in his heart, and Leng Zimo took off running towards the opposite lakeside.

The lake was wide; it took him more than twenty minutes to run to the other side. By the time he reached the pathway along the lake, the girl was long gone.

Taking a deep breath, Leng Zimo turned around and headed back.

When he reached the villa entrance, the driver Xiao Ding had already brought the car around. Seeing him, Xiao Ding immediately walked over with a puzzled look.

”President Leng, why did you run to the other side of the lake?”

This lakeside scenic area was a famous villa district in the northern suburbs. There were four or five villa communities by the lake, and the place Leng Zimo had just gone was not part of his own community.
