After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 809: Chapter 813: I Respect His Decision

”Yes.” The little guy’s face was full of excitement. ”I think that flying sword is awesome, much cooler than Harry Potter’s broomstick.”

The little guy didn’t quite understand that those were special effects made by computer. At his age, he was naturally filled with endless curiosity about things like magic.

These new things were indeed quite a temptation. He didn’t really understand what filming a movie meant. To him, it was more like a novelty game. Moreover, having Leng Zimo, who really suited his taste, made Uncle Zimo very attractive to him.

Looking at her son’s excited little face, Luo Xiaoqian seriously reminded him, ”Mo Mo, Mama has to remind you, while filming a movie can be fun, it can also be very tiring. And... Mama is very busy recently and might not be able to go to the set with you. Only Uncle John can go with you.”

”What about Uncle Zimo? Will he be there?” The little guy asked.

Luo Xiaoqian was busy with work and couldn’t always be by his side. The little guy was used to being separated from his mom and wouldn’t become timid just because she wasn’t there.

”Uncle Zimo is very busy. But he is the producer of the movie, so he should often be on set. And if you go to be his little actor, you will have more opportunities to see him in the future.”

Luo Xiaoqian wanted her son to have a happy childhood. She didn’t want him to enter the entertainment circle at such a young age. However, this was Leng Zimo’s movie, and she hoped she could help him.

They, as father and son, would eventually have to acknowledge each other. As a mother, she naturally hoped they could bond sooner rather than later.

But ultimately, this matter had to be agreed upon by Luo Jun. She wanted to fulfill Leng Zimo’s wish but did not want to force her son.

”Then can we call Uncle Zimo?” Luo Jun asked.

Luo Xiaoqian took out her phone, brought up Leng Zimo’s number, dialed it, and then put it on speakerphone before handing it to the little guy. She didn’t have the courage to converse with Leng Zimo.

That man, just a breath from him, was enough to make her heart flutter.

The call was quickly connected, and Luo Jun politely introduced himself.

”Uncle Zimo, hello, I’m Mo Mo.”

”Hello, Mo Mo. How’s your head? Does it still hurt?”

Leng Zimo’s voice immediately came through, his tone gentle with a hint of concern.

”It stopped hurting a long time ago. I heard from Mama that you want me to be in your movie, right?”

Leng Zimo smiled and asked, ”Yes, do you want to come?”

”Will I have that flying sword?” The little guy asked eagerly.

”Flying sword, you mean the Flying Sword?” Leng Zimo chuckled, ”Of course, you will not only have your own Flying Sword but you can also fly around in the sky.”

”Really!? That’s awesome!” The little guy cheered, ”Then I want to go.”

Leng Zimo’s tone also carried a joyful emotion, ”Okay, then can you give the phone to your Mama?”

Luo Xiaoqian took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice calm, ”Hello, Mr. Leng, this is Mo Mo’s mother.”

”Have you decided to let Mo Mo star in my movie?” Leng Zimo asked.

”Yes,” Luo Xiaoqian glanced at her son, ”I respect his decision.”

”Good. Tomorrow, please take some time to bring him to Emperor View. We’ll take some test shots to see how he looks. Also, we need to discuss the specific collaboration terms. Do you have any requirements for our company?”
