After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 820: Chapter 824: The Long-Missed Taste

She didn’t want John to disturb their rare father-son bonding time.

When John brought Luo Jun to the entrance of the community, Leng Zimo’s car was already waiting by the road.

Seeing the little guy coming out, Leng Zimo immediately got out of the car and helped him open the rear door.

”Hey, Uncle Zimo’s sports outfit is just like mine!”

Seeing the black sports outfit he was wearing, the little guy exclaimed immediately.

”Really?” Leng Zimo turned to look at him, and indeed noticed that their clothing was from the same brand, identical in color and style, except Luo Jun’s was children’s size, and his was adult size, ”We have matching father and son outfits.”

”No, it’s a family outfit.” Little Luo Jun corrected him seriously, ”Because my mom has the same sports outfit too.”

”Yes, a family outfit.” Leng Zimo settled him into the child seat specially installed in the back seat, carefully buckled him in, then stood up and looked at John, ”Get in the car!”

”No need.” John shrugged at him, ”Sissi said, I just need to drop MOMO off.”

John waved goodbye to Luo Jun and walked back into the community.

Leng Zimo was a little surprised that Luo Xiaoqian would trust him like this. He closed the rear door and got into the driver’s seat, ready to start the car.

Just then, the little guy handed over a small paper bag.

”Uncle Zimo, your breakfast!”

Leng Zimo turned his head and looked at the small paper bag in his hand, ”For me?”

He thought the little bag he was carrying was food prepared by his mom for him. He didn’t expect it to be for him.

The little guy held the bag with both hands, ”Yes, we’ve already eaten. This is an egg sandwich my mom made, I helped wash the vegetables. There’s also some milk, mom said to eat it while it’s hot.”

Taking the paper bag, Leng Zimo opened it and indeed found two wax paper packages inside. Next to them was a thermos cup, the faint scent of milk and eggs wafting out.

He opened one of the packages and sure enough, found a sandwich with fried egg and vegetables inside.

She knew he didn’t like mayonnaise, so she used peanut butter for him instead.

”It’s really delicious, try it.” The little guy said expectantly.

Smiling at him, Leng Zimo took a big bite. The fried egg had a faint pepper flavor, mixed with the rich aroma of peanut butter.

”Is it good?” the little guy asked from the back seat.

Leng Zimo chewed the egg in his mouth without answering.

This taste was so familiar.

”Uncle Zimo?”

”Hmm?” Leng Zimo came back to his senses.

”Is it good?”

”Yes, it’s very good. Uncle Zimo hasn’t had such a breakfast for a long time.”

Leng Zimo nodded gently, not just being polite, but speaking the truth. He was always picky about his food, but this breakfast suited his taste.

The little guy smiled happily, ”Then I will ask my mom to make more for you. My mom can cook many kinds of food, both Chinese and Western. My favorite is her dumplings, I can eat a whole big bowl...”

They ate and chatted, and soon, Leng Zimo finished both sandwiches and drank all the hot milk in the cup.

For the first time eating breakfast in the car, Leng Zimo was very happy.

Starting the car, his voice was full of excitement, ”Let’s go, to the Forbidden City!”

”To the Forbidden City!”

In the back seat, the little guy also shouted excitedly.

The car smoothly drove onto the road. The morning sunlight shone through the windows, brightening the smiles on their faces.
