After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 807: Chapter 811 You Can Call Me...Sissi

On the other end of the phone, Leng Zimo listened to the stuttering voice of the woman and his tone naturally softened.

Even though it was their first phone call, he liked her voice, inexplicably liked it.

”It’s alright. I have two things to ask. First, I want to know if there’s anything unusual about Mo Mo.”

”He’s fine, he slept well last night and is now at kindergarten... Thank you for your concern. And... what’s the other thing you wanted to ask?”

”Well, we’re casting a movie and we need a child actor. I think Mo Mo is perfect for the role. If you’re interested, you could bring him to our company to audition.”

”This...” Luo Xiaoqian hesitated. After all, she wasn’t prepared for this kind of request from Leng Zimo. ”Can I... Can I think about it?”

”Of course.” Leng Zimo paused for two seconds. ”However, I personally really hope that Mo Mo can come. I believe you’ve heard of ’Magic Realm’, right? The movie I’m talking about is the sequel to ’Magic Realm’. Mo Mo wouldn’t have many scenes, it wouldn’t adversely affect him.”

”I believe you, it’s just... this is too sudden,” Luo Xiaoqian said.

Hearing her hesitation, Leng Zimo immediately extended an invitation, ”Maybe we could meet and discuss it in detail.”

On one hand, he truly believed Mo Mo was perfect for the role, and on the other hand, he was very curious about this woman.

Although it was their first conversation, he had a strange sense of familiarity with her.

He had a strong desire to see what kind of woman she was.

Meet in person?!

”We can’t meet now!” Luo Xiaoqian immediately refused, realizing her tone was a bit stiff, she quickly explained, ”I... what I mean is... I’ve been very busy lately.”

”I see...” Leng Zimo took her words as a rejection and couldn’t help feeling disappointed.

Hearing the disappointment in his voice, Luo Xiaoqian felt a pang in her heart.

”Please... don’t be angry. It’s just that I don’t have the time. It doesn’t mean Mo Mo doesn’t have the time. I can discuss it with him and then call you back. Is that okay?”

”Of course.” Leng Zimo’s voice clearly brightened up. ”I’m not in a hurry. You and Mo Mo can discuss it carefully. As long as he’s willing to come, I can make sure the filming schedule accommodates his time.”

”Okay.” Luo Xiaoqian licked her dry lips nervously. ”Then... we’ll be in touch?”

”Goodbye.” Leng Zimo said goodbye, then suddenly spoke hurriedly, ”Wait a minute.”

Luo Xiaoqian’s heart skipped a beat. ”Do you... have something else?”

”I haven’t asked your name yet,” Leng Zimo said.

”I...” Luo Xiaoqian looked up at the ceiling. ”You can call me... Sissi!”

”Sissi?!” Leng Zimo gently repeated this name.

Sissi?

Sissi!

Why does this name feel so familiar, as if I’ve heard it countless times? Yet, there’s no one around me with such an English name?!

Not hearing anything from him for a long time, Luo Xiaoqian worriedly asked, ”Mr.... Leng, are you okay?”

Leng Zimo snapped out of it. ”Nothing, it’s just that your name feels so familiar...”
