After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 821: Chapter 825: The Grandfather and Grandchild Reunion

Because it’s the weekend, there are even more tourists in the Forbidden City than usual.

On regular days, Leng Zimo would never come to such a place. But with the little guy here, the noisy crowds and the thronging people didn’t matter much anymore.

The two men, one big and one little, both wore baseball caps and held hands, looking like a typical father and son tourists pair. Leng Zimo’s large sunglasses covered most of his face, so no one recognized him.

Despite that, such a handsome pair still caught quite a few glances from the other tourists. The turn-back rate was nearly a hundred percent.

Leng Zimo bought the tickets while the little guy hopped and skipped ahead, curiously pulling Leng Zimo along, asking one question after another. When they walked into a palace and saw many people looking in through the window, he too curiously went to the steps to peek inside, but the crowd was too thick, and he couldn’t see anything.

Seeing this, Leng Zimo naturally stepped forward, lightly gripping him by the waist and lifting him onto his shoulders.

With the giant’s shoulders under him, the little guy could see everything inside clearly.

”Wow, it’s a bed! Is this where the ancient emperor slept?!”

”Yes, this is the sleeping chamber.”

Leng Zimo held his waist carefully, protecting him from falling.

As they wandered into the Imperial Garden, it was already noon. The little guy was visibly tired.

”Tired? Why don’t we find a place to eat and rest for a while? What do you want to eat?”

”Can we have hotpot?”

”Of course...”

Seeing that he could hardly walk, Leng Zimo simply picked him up again and placed him on his shoulders, carrying him out of the Forbidden City. Then he drove to a nearby hotpot restaurant. After that, they went boating near Houhai.

Unexpectedly, in the afternoon, the sky suddenly darkened, and it started to rain.

The rain came suddenly. Although Leng Zimo tried hard to shield him, the little guy’s clothes were still quite wet by the time they got back to the car.

Carefully drying his face with tissues, Leng Zimo looked at his wet clothes, worried he might catch a cold.

”Uncle will take you to a nearby place to rest for a while. Once the rain stops, we’ll head home, alright?”

”Where to?” The little guy asked curiously.

”To Uncle Zimo’s house, okay?”

”Your house isn’t by the lake?”

”That’s Uncle Zimo’s own house. This is uncle’s other house.”

Back in the driver’s seat, Leng Zimo restarted the car, driving back to the Leng Family Mansion.

Aunt Su opened the door, and seeing Leng Zimo standing there with a little boy in his arms, she was surprised but ushered them into the living room.

”Oh, Zimo’s back. Who’s this child?”

”This is Mo Mo. I took him boating in Houhai, but it suddenly rained.” Leng Zimo carried Luo Jun straight upstairs, ”Mo Mo, this is Aunt Su!”

”Hello, Aunt Su.” Luo Jun greeted politely.

”What a sweet kid,” Aunt Su laughed, ”Look at you all wet. Take him for a hot bath first, I’ll make some ginger tea. Don’t want him catching a cold!”

The two of them went upstairs. Just then, Leng Lin came out of the study upon hearing the noise. Seeing Luo Jun in Leng Zimo’s arms, he too was curious.

”Who is this...”

”Mo Mo, this is Uncle Zimo’s father. You should call him Grandpa.” Leng Zimo introduced with a smile.
