After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 58: Chapter 58 Cooking

For her, his clothes were far too oversized, but still, it was better than wearing nothing.

Once she wrapped herself in the clothes, she finally found her sense of security. Luo Xiaoqian glanced at the wardrobe, quickly picking out what she thought was a matching shirt, tie, coat... She didn’t hesitate to don his clothes one by one, wrapping herself up tightly.

After sizing herself up to make sure she was even more covered up than a Middle Eastern woman, Luo Xiaoqian finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Beside her, there was a faint noise—the bathroom door had already opened.

”I’ve found the clothes, you can take your time getting dressed, I... I’m going to cook!”

She dared not turn her head, afraid of seeing him undressed again, and hurried to the door, scurrying through the hallway and racing down the stairs like a mouse who had seen a cat.

Wrapped in a towel, Leng Zimo came out and looked towards the half-closed door.

Cook?

Is she sure?!

After three wrong turns, Luo Xiaoqian successfully found the downstairs bathroom, quickly freshened up, and went straight to the kitchen.

”It’s really the kitchen of the wealthy!”

Facing the absurdly large kitchen, Luo Xiaoqian could only marvel; the kitchen was bigger than the total area of the small room she rented.

The color scheme was black and white, with a simple European style.

The kitchen was fully equipped with various stoves and everything was spotless, including the hanging pots, pans, and utensils... even the dishcloth.

This was no kitchen; it was clearly a kitchen cabinet showroom, utterly lacking any signs of use.

She was foolish to think that a man like him would ever eat at home.

Probably, there wasn’t a single ingredient in the fridge.

Luo Xiaoqian opened the fridge, and sure enough, as she had guessed.

The large double-door fridge contained nothing but beer and coffee, and just a few boxes of instant noodles. The only things that could be considered food were a box of eggs and a large carton of milk tucked away in a corner.

Actually, even these two items were not bought by Leng Zimo himself, but by the cleaning lady who helped him, who happened to see a supermarket discount and bought them, then forgot to take them with her.

Grabbing the eggs, Luo Xiaoqian took out the milk, checked the expiration date to make sure it hadn’t expired, then washed a pot to light the stove and poured the milk into a small milk pan.

Without much hope, she opened the cupboard but was surprised to find everything from oil to various seasonings, all unopened.

She took out the oil can, opened it, poured it into the frying pan to heat, and expertly cracked in the eggs.

Leng Zimo got dressed and came downstairs, hearing the noises from the kitchen; he walked over, puzzled.

She was really cooking?!

If he remembered correctly, there shouldn’t be any ingredients in his kitchen.
