”Really?”

Hearing Feng Lu’s doubtful tone, Chen Fei knew she was out of her league. A slight smile touched his lips as he pointed to a corner of a nearby windowsill and whispered, ”See that?”

”What?” Feng Lu naturally didn’t understand the cryptic gesture and asked with a puzzled expression.

”The ants,” Chen Fei said with a wide smile. ”The ones on the windowsill... Would you waste your time worrying about what they could do to you?”

”Of course not...” Feng Lu blurted out without a second thought. However, before she could finish the sentence, her eyes suddenly widened. She stared at Chen Fei, who was once again focused on tackling the steak on his plate. After a long moment of stunned silence, she suddenly burst into giggles.

”Hey, you can’t be serious, can you? Even if you’re a billionaire, you can’t just call them that. Ants? The Soria Group is definitely richer than you; they’re one of the most affluent conglomerates in the United Kingdom right now! It’s a good thing those guys didn’t hear you, or they would have been furious,” she whispered. Although she knew Chen Fei must be exaggerating, wasn’t this a bit too arrogant? Calling the people from the Soria Group ants? It was truly fortunate they didn’t hear him, otherwise...

”Let them die of anger for all I care, as long as I don’t have to pay. But you should go eat somewhere else. That guy will probably be back,” Chen Fei said with an indifferent smile before his expression suddenly turned serious. He could afford to dismiss the Soria Group, but Feng Lu was just an ordinary person. He couldn’t let her get dragged into this.

”I... okay, then. Be careful,” Feng Lu reflexively wanted to refuse, but then she understood his meaning. Biting her lip in embarrassment, she tiptoed away to a seat in the public dining area.

Sure enough, a few moments later, a ferocious-looking Yuan Kai returned with backup: police officers from the London district where the Park Tower Knight Hotel was located.

”Rivado, that’s him! Get him for me!” With reinforcements, Yuan Kai’s confidence was clearly restored. He strode toward Chen Fei with a cold, arrogant sneer, shouting his order to a white man beside him who was clearly a London police officer with an afro.

”It’s an honor to serve you, Mr. Yuan Kai.” The white officer with the afro, clad in a London police uniform, was obviously in league with Yuan Kai. He gave a proud sneer, nodded, and then ordered his subordinates to surround Chen Fei. ”Old Howard! Briz! Hurry up! Didn’t you hear Mr. Yuan Kai? Get the handcuffs out! We’re arresting him!”

The uniformed officers immediately moved to surround Chen Fei, cold smiles on their faces as they drew their handcuffs. Their intention to arrest him on the spot was clear.

”Wait!” At that moment, Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, spoke up, a wry smile on his face. ”Officers, are you planning to arrest me? Fine. But could you first tell me what crime I’ve committed?” He wasn’t scared, nor was he angry. He just found the situation amusing. It seems it’s not just some corrupt cops back home who act as lapdogs for the rich. This foreign country, the United Kingdom, is apparently the same, maybe even more brazen and direct! They don’t even bother coming up with a pretext before trying to arrest someone!

”A crime? My god, do you not realize who you’ve offended? Do you have any idea what a big shot Mr. Yuan is in London? He’s backed by Liu Junyi of the Soria Group, Mr. Liu himself!” The white officer with the afro was evidently a straightforward guy. He didn’t bother with nonsense and just laid it out plainly. You’ve offended Mr. Yuan of the Soria Group, and you’re asking what crime you’ve committed? Is this a joke? Whatever Mr. Yuan says your crime is, that’s what it is, understand? Hmph!

”Hmph, you little bastard! Now do you realize how foolish it was to offend me, Yuan Kai, and to refuse the Soria Group?” Seeing this, Yuan Kai assumed Chen Fei was scared and panicking. A haughty sneer appeared on his still slightly bruised and swollen face as he looked down on him. ”Surnamed Chen, I’m giving you one last chance. Kneel and apologize to me right now, then come with me to treat Mr. Liu. I’ll be the bigger person and let bygones be bygones. But if you continue to be so unappreciative and overestimate yourself, then...”

”Then what?” Chen Fei slowly rose from his seat, looking at him with an amused smile.

”You... you...” For some reason, Yuan Kai suddenly shuddered, a chill running down his spine as he seemed to recall Chen Fei’s earlier display of incredible skill. His expression darkened as he glared at Chen Fei. ”Surnamed Chen, I know you’re a good fighter, but so what? Do you think you’re invincible? Besides, I suggest you get one thing straight: this is London, not your country! No matter how well you can fight, can you stand against an entire nation? This is a society governed by the rule of law!”

”A society governed by the rule of law? You’ve really got some nerve saying that to me. Aren’t you embarrassed? Hahaha!” Chen Fei laughed as if he’d just heard the most ridiculous joke in the world, finally unable to hold back his roaring laughter.

”Laugh? What the hell are you laughing at? It seems you’re determined to court death!” Hearing Chen Fei’s unrestrained laughter made Yuan Kai feel as sick as if he’d eaten shit; he felt nothing but complete contempt and humiliation from it. His face twitching with rage, he stared at the white officer with the afro and barked, ”Rivado, arrest him now!”

”It is an honor to serve you, respected sir.” The white officer with the afro was clearly there to be a lackey. Hearing Yuan Kai’s order in English, he nodded without hesitation and barked at his subordinates. They once again surrounded Chen Fei, pulling out their handcuffs with cold smiles. Of course, the officer maintained a ’polite’ tone. ”Sorry, sir, but you will let us handcuff you quietly, won’t you? You’re not going to resist arrest, are you? That’s a very serious offense here in the United Kingdom, you know.” At the end, he even added a ’friendly reminder’, clearly wanting Chen Fei to cooperate.

”Oh, alright... Officer, how about you wait a moment? Let me make a phone call,” Chen Fei said. Seeing they were serious about arresting him, he dropped the playful attitude, his eyes narrowing into a slight smile. After all, he was in a foreign country and wanted to keep a low profile and avoid trouble if he could.

”A phone call?” The officer with the afro was clearly taken aback. He noticed again that Chen Fei hadn’t shown the slightest hint of panic from the very beginning; in fact, he’d been smiling the whole time. A sense of unease crept into his heart, and he couldn’t help but glance at Yuan Kai, who wore a similar expression.

Clearly, while the officer might have been a straightforward guy, he wasn’t an idiot. Seeing Chen Fei remain unafraid despite the circumstances—even wanting to make a phone call—he immediately had a thought. Could it be that this young man from Huaxia has a powerful background too? Otherwise, why would he be so calm and relaxed?

”I just want to make a phone call. What, are you telling me that with all of you surrounding me, you don’t have the courage to let me do that?” Seeing both the officer and Yuan Kai fall silent, a disdainful sneer touched Chen Fei’s lips as he spoke slowly.

”Call! Go ahead and call! I’d like to see what kind of powerful background a mere doctor like you could possibly have!” As a major figure in the Soria Group, Yuan Kai couldn’t tolerate Chen Fei’s mockery and immediately snapped. In his mind, even if a small-time doctor like Chen Fei had some connections, how could they possibly compare to the Soria Group? Since he wants to call, let him. It will make the little bastard finally give up all hope and obediently come back with me to treat Mr. Liu.

”Gladly. Then I’ll make my call,” Chen Fei said with a mocking smile, pulling out his phone. However, he didn’t call anyone he knew. Instead, he took out his Centurion Black Card and dialed the number on the back. As a holder of the Centurion Black Card, he naturally enjoyed numerous privileges. Since he didn’t have any influential friends in the United Kingdom, he might as well test the card’s power.

”That’s... is that...” But just as Chen Fei, Young Master Chen, took out the card, Yuan Kai’s eyes caught it. He froze as if petrified, his eyes widening in utter disbelief. He never imagined Chen Fei could possess such a card...

With his status, how could he possibly fail to recognize the card issued by America’s Yuntong, known as the ’King of the World Black Cards’!?

But... but... how is this possible!? How could he have that card? Didn’t they say you needed at least one billion dollars in wealth or an SSS-level invitation from America’s Yuntong to even qualify for one? But now, this pathetic little doctor... how did he... what on earth is going on!?

Yuan Kai was completely dumbfounded, unable to believe his eyes. Even with his stature, he had never dared to even dream of possessing the Centurion Black Card, hailed as the ’King of the World Black Cards’. Yet here was Chen Fei, holding one out. The psychological shock was so immense he could barely process it.

After the initial shock, however, his expression turned extremely ugly. He knew that his petty tricks were now useless against Chen Fei. A single word from America’s Yuntong would be enough to make these police scurry away immediately. Otherwise, it could become an international incident! How could these low-level cops and goons possibly handle the fallout? They didn’t have the guts to take that responsibility! Not unless the Soria Group was willing to personally step in...
