”Oh, it’s Mr. Chen, hello.” On the other end of the phone, Chen Fei nodded, his voice still even.

”Mr. Chen, where are you now? I’ll send someone to pick you up immediately. You only need to...” Chen Yaoyang began to say quickly, but Chen Fei interrupted him.

”No need. Mr. Chen, may I ask you something? I heard from Secretary Dong that your Chen Family is one of Hong Kong’s Five Great Tycoon Families?” Chen Fei said slowly.

”Yes, there are Five Great Noble Families in Hong Kong, and our Chen Family ranks fifth.” Although Chen Yaoyang didn’t understand the purpose of Chen Fei’s question, he answered earnestly, his tone exceptionally serious.

”Good. Then do me a favor. Find out who attacked me earlier. I didn’t get a clear look at them, but they seemed to be driving a modified, all-black Hummer with no license plate. How long will it take?”

Chen Fei’s previously even voice finally changed, now filled with a cold, ruthless air. His words stunned Chen Yaoyang.

”Mr. Chen?” he couldn’t help but stammer, shock flickering in his eyes.

”Just find out for me, Mr. Chen. This is Hong Kong, after all. The Chen Family should be able to, right?” Chen Fei pressed.

”Then... alright... Please give me an hour, Mr. Chen,” Chen Yaoyang said, taking a deep breath, his expression serious.

”Okay, I’ll be waiting at this number.” The moment Chen Fei finished speaking, the line went dead. He had hung up.

”Yaoi Yang, what did Mr. Chen say?” Seeing her husband’s grave expression, Dong Shuxian felt a tremor in her heart and asked slowly.

”He said... let’s focus on the matter at hand. Adax, take the ladies back home. The rest of you, come with me to the old mansion.” Chen Yaoyang had intended to explain further, but the words caught in his throat. With his mind in turmoil, he simply issued the order.

”Yes, Mr. Chen.” A deep, thunderous voice replied from the driver’s seat. It belonged to a two-meter-tall bodyguard in a black suit, so muscular that the fabric strained over his frame. His hands on the steering wheel were thick with calluses, and his slightly vacant eyes were unnerving.

The stretched Lincoln they were in quickly pulled over. Chen Yaoyang got out and boarded a BMW SUV that had been following them. He spun the vehicle around, its engine roaring as it sped off and vanished down the road.

”Mr. Chen, I have the information you requested.” Inside the Chen Family’s old mansion, a middle-aged man in a suit with brown, parted hair reported to Chen Yaoyang. ”It was Po Rong from Dongxing. That modified car only arrived in Hong Kong a few days ago. Po Rong’s own men went to pick it up.”

”Dongxing’s Po Rong?” Chen Yaoyang hesitated. The name sounded familiar, but he couldn’t quite place it.

”Mr. Chen, he’s one of Dongxing’s seven current key figures. His territory is mainly around Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei,” the man immediately explained, seeing Chen Yaoyang’s hesitation.

”Oh, Dongxing... Where is he now? And the car?” Chen Yaoyang asked, frowning.

”We haven’t found the car. However, an inside source saw Po Rong go up to the second floor of the Fu Hai Club in Tsim Sha Tsui just moments ago,” the man replied.

”Understood. Arong, you may leave now.” Chen Yaoyang sighed in relief and waved his hand, dismissing the man. He then took out his wife’s phone and dialed Chen Fei’s number.

”Mr. Chen, did you find anything?” As soon as the call connected, Chen Fei’s impatient voice came through, causing Chen Yaoyang to stiffen.

”We did. According to our information, the attack on you is likely connected to Po Rong, one of Dongxing’s seven key figures. However, we haven’t located the car,” he quickly relayed.

”Po Rong from Dongxing? Where is he now?” Chen Fei asked calmly.

”Mr. Chen, Po Rong should be at his stronghold: the second floor of a place called Fu Hai Club in Tsim Sha Tsui. Mr. Chen, should I send some men over? No, I’ll go myself,” Chen Yaoyang offered, having likely guessed Chen Fei’s intentions.

”Thank you, but that won’t be necessary. I’m hanging up now. I’ll see you tonight. Thanks.” Chen Fei promptly ended the call, leaving Chen Yaoyang dumbfounded.

He isn’t planning to go there all by himself, is he?

After standing stunned for a long moment, Chen Yaoyang decided he couldn’t just stand by and watch. If something really happened to Mr. Chen, he, Chen Yaoyang, would be unable to evade responsibility.

”Arong, tell Uncle Hua to take some men to the Fu Hai Club in Tsim Sha Tsui immediately. And remember, bring the gear.”

”Yes!”
