Chapter 1517: Chapter 1518: Kill Ye Zhi to Silence Her

...

As for Jiang Feisheng, whom An Jing and the others were worried about, he took advantage of the two sides fighting to grab a Xiyun soldier and interrogated him: ”Who is the most skilled doctor in your army’s medical field?”

As soon as he learned from the soldier’s mouth that it was Gong Juechen, and where Gong Juechen was now, he killed that soldier.

Dragging the soldier to a corner where no one could see, he stripped the leather armor off the soldier’s body. He quickly changed out of his Chilin ordinary soldier’s clothes and put on the Xiyun soldier’s leather armor.

Disguised as a Xiyun soldier, Jiang Feisheng then headed towards where Gong Juechen was.

Compared to winning this battle, his top priority was to find a highly skilled doctor to cure their Emperor’s poison and save his life.

Ye Zhi, killing enemies as she fought, noticed a Xiyun soldier not fighting but leaving. She frowned and followed him to see what was happening.

Since entering the Imperial City, Gong Juechen no longer stayed in the military doctor tent. He was now living in a pharmacy, which had long been looted by the Chilin soldiers. There were still some herbs in the pharmacy, but they were all from the Xiyun army. Gong Juechen had people place some here to make it convenient for him to treat the Xiyun soldiers in the Imperial City.

The pharmacy’s doors and windows were now tightly shut. Inside the pharmacy, at this moment, Gong Juechen was with two soldiers. These two soldiers, to put it nicely, were there to protect him as a military doctor; to put it harshly, they were there on Xiao Changyi’s orders to keep watch on him.

”Sigh.” Listening to the deafening sounds of killing outside, Gong Juechen couldn’t help but let out a sigh in his heart.

At the same time, he was very worried about the safety of Zhizhi and his sister.

However, he was more worried about Zhizhi.

His sister, with her skills, was not easily harmed by anyone but elite masters. But Zhizhi was different; her martial arts were much weaker than his sister’s skills.

Jiang Feisheng found a pharmacy and discovered that there was no one inside. So he casually grabbed a passing Xiyun soldier outside and asked, ”Which pharmacy is Gong the military doctor in?”

”It’s that one up ahead.” There were so many people in the army; it was impossible for everyone to know each other. When the Xiyun soldier saw Jiang Feisheng also wearing Xiyun soldier leather armor, he assumed Jiang Feisheng was a Xiyun soldier too. So, when Jiang Feisheng asked, he readily answered.

Who knew, as soon as he answered, Jiang Feisheng twisted his neck, ending his life.

Seeing Jiang Feisheng kill a Xiyun soldier, Ye Zhi instantly knew Jiang Feisheng wasn’t a Xiyun soldier and immediately dashed over, thrusting her sword at Jiang Feisheng.

Everyone else was fighting the enemy up front, so at this moment, there was no one in the corridor.

Jiang Feisheng hadn’t expected someone to see him kill the Xiyun soldier, which meant his identity was exposed. He had to quickly deal with this woman before he could go after Gong Juechen.

With this thought, Jiang Feisheng began to fight with Ye Zhi.

Jiang Feisheng’s martial arts were very advanced. After just two moves, Ye Zhi knew she was no match for him, so she urgently called for help: ”Someone come! This person is pretending to be a Xiyun soldier; he’s actually from Chilin!”

Upon hearing this, Jiang Feisheng intensified his efforts to kill Ye Zhi and silence her.

Unable to withstand the attacks, Ye Zhi’s sword was struck down. With no other option, Ye Zhi quickly drew the pistol hidden in her boot. Unfortunately, her shot missed Jiang Feisheng.

That was because as soon as Jiang Feisheng saw her pull out a black object, he assumed it was a hidden weapon and quickly dodged. Moreover, Jiang Feisheng delivered a swift spin kick, knocking the pistol out of her hand.
