Livestream Matchmaking: My Intel Infinitely Refreshes

Chapter 49: Chapter 49: The Pure Love Warrior’s Breakdown

”My friend, in your situation, we’d normally call you a Minotaur.”

”Not just someone who got cheated on.”

”No, no, no.” The man frantically denied it. ”Brother Zhang, you’ve got it all wrong. I don’t have that kind of special kink. If I’d known she had a boyfriend from the start, I definitely wouldn’t have gone for her.”

”I told you, I’m a ’pure love’ kind of guy.”

”Pure love, and then you run into a girl who has a boyfriend and comes to you behind his back? Is that it?”

”Yeah, I really don’t get them.” The young man’s voice was full of frustration.

Zhang Zhe tried to see it from the perspective of a ’pure love’ trust fund kid. It really was a worldview-shattering experience.

Every time you think you’ve found true love, she tells you she already has a boyfriend, and you’re the one breaking them up...

’That’s enough to make anyone’s mentality collapse.’

Apparently, Xiaowang used to be the same way back in the day. He was an innocent guy, but then he met a gold digger. He got into online arguments with people for her sake, only to get sent nude photos of her from her ex-boyfriend. He turned to the dark side on the spot.

That’s how most ”pure love warriors” become jaded.

But this guy’s mentality was holding up okay. It was probably due to his upbringing. After all, he was a master’s student from a proper Top 3 university, so his family must have been quite strict. Otherwise, there’s no way a rich kid like him wouldn’t know how to be a player.

[I really want to meet this guy, he seems like a good, honest kid]

[I have a cousin who’s a lot like him. His family sheltered him too much, so he’s helpless against manipulative girls]

[So he just ran into a few gold diggers. If a rich guy doesn’t even have that much discernment, then he deserves to be fleeced.]

[Rich and educated, and still gets cheated on. I’m guessing there’s something wrong with him physically.]

The bullet comments gave Zhang Zhe an idea. He decided to ask:

”Buddy, there’s nothing wrong with you physically, right?”

”No, I’m fertile.”

”Then do you have any... special hobbies? Things like whips and candles are on the mild side. I know a pervert who doesn’t use candles, he uses a hot glue gun.”

”If it’s too perverted, even a gold digger wouldn’t be able to stand it.”

”Holy shit!” the man quickly denied. ”Brother Zhang, is the person you’re talking about even human?”

”I’m a normal person.”

”The situations I run into are where the girl is spending my money while still seeing her boyfriend. It feels like I’m supporting both of them.”

”I’ve seen this kind of kink before!”

”The Whip Woman Hero, President Hou, is just like that,” Zhang Zhe said, slapping his thigh.

”I’m not like that!”

”It’s not my choice!” the man argued. ”I only found out about these things after we were dating, by going through the girl’s chat history.”

”To be honest with you, a while ago I made a five or six-hundred-page PDF to expose all these women. But I was afraid it would damage my parents’ company’s reputation, so I never released it.”

”Anyway, I’m pretty pessimistic about the current dating scene. I just feel like I’ll never meet anyone good.”

[Making a PDF? Then you’re no saint either.]

[Hahaha, some of the girls here are getting triggered by the mention of a PDF.]

[I feel like this guy is a bit too rigid in his thinking. Love is supposed to be about feelings.]

[Look on the bright side, you’re actually the one paying to cuckold someone else.]

[If you can make a PDF that long, you must have dated a double-digit number of women. And you still haven’t managed to change your mindset after all that?]

Zhang Zhe disagreed with some of the opinions in the bullet comments.

A long PDF doesn’t necessarily mean the guy is a player. A while ago, a teacher who reported a professor in the same department for academic misconduct wrote a document that was nearly 400 pages long.

This guy might have just spent a lot of money. In that case, the transaction records alone could probably fill hundreds of pages.

”Do you still have the PDF?” Zhang Zhe asked, a look of interest on his face.

”Uh... Brother Zhang, are you interested in this kind of gossip too?”

”Of course.” Zhang Zhe nodded frankly. ”I wasn’t interested before, but I’m a Matchmaker now. A Matchmaker needs to witness the full diversity of the human species.”

”If a Matchmaker is always saying, ’This is the first time I’ve ever seen a situation like yours,’ wouldn’t that make them seem unprofessional?”

”That makes sense.”

”Then, Brother Zhang, I can send it to you in a private message later? But please don’t share it, because some of the pictures in it aren’t censored.”

”Ah? On second thought, never mind. I’m afraid I’ll get a stye if I look at it.”

”Let’s get back to analyzing your problem.” As he spoke, Zhang Zhe glanced at the list of requests to join the call. There was still no one else.

So, he could only continue chatting with this guy for now.

But the good news was that the number of viewers had increased, and the bullet comments were very active. Everyone seemed quite interested in gossip about the rich.

”You keep running into these kinds of girls. Could there be a problem with how you’re meeting them? Are you looking for them in nightclubs or at Werewolf games?”

”No, that’s the most infuriating part.” The man slammed his fist on the table in frustration. ”I meet them all in the library or at public lectures.”

”Those should be normal places to meet people, right?”

”The library, for sure.”

”Exactly, so I don’t get it.” The man sighed, and you could hear he was genuinely disheartened.

However, based on his own years of experience as a student, Zhang Zhe knew that for a rich kid like this to be targeted by gold diggers, there had to be a very conspicuous reason.

For example...

”What car did you drive to school?”

”I drove a car my uncle gave me. A very ordinary 718.”

”A 718? Get the hell out of here!”

”You’re cruising around campus in a Porsche, it’d be a miracle if you *didn’t* attract manipulative girls!” Zhang Zhe knew something was up. Sure, there were plenty of scummy girls out there, but not all of them had the ability to accurately identify a trust fund kid.

But you can’t blame anyone when you’re driving a luxury car. The first lesson in any online gold-digging tutorial is how to recognize car logos.

[You drive a Porsche, any girl who approaches you is clearly looking for a transaction.]

[Bro, don’t you get it? She has a boyfriend, so you don’t have to be responsible for her, plus you get to unlock the thrilling scenario of her boyfriend calling to check up on her.]

[Suddenly I’m starting to think the girls he dated were the normal ones.]

[What is wrong with you people’s values? Since when is a gold digger normal?]

[This guy’s wealth just doesn’t match his awareness. He’ll grow up after being played by a few more women.]

”I know it’s related to the car.” The man was still a bit defensive. ”But if a girl who has a boyfriend comes on to me, isn’t she still the one with the problem?”

”Even without the car, my spending habits are obvious.”

”I get what you mean.” Zhang Zhe nodded. ”You’re trying to say that even if you drove a BYD Qin Plus but wore a green Rolex Submariner, a girl could still tell you’re a trust fund kid, right?”

”Yes, yes, yes, that’s exactly what I mean.”

”No, they wouldn’t,” Zhang Zhe said with a polite smile. ”Or at least, the probability would be much, much lower.”

”If you drive a BYD Qin, the person getting into your car won’t be a beautiful young woman. It’ll more likely be a middle-aged lady who mistook it for her rideshare.”

”So... I just need to change my car?” the man asked in disbelief. ”Is the problem that’s been tormenting me really that simple?”

”No, no, no, changing your car will only lower the probability.”

”Your actual problem is that you lack a proper understanding of the opposite sex. Buddy, the ’pure love’ you’re looking for is something you can only find through sheer luck to begin with.”

”So, I have two suggestions for you.”

Zhang Zhe said, counting on his fingers:

”First, go look up ’Jiangnan’s Most Devoted Lover.’ Learn from Brother Tong how to spend money and how to pick up girls.”

”I know who that is,” the man interrupted. ”But I can’t be like him. I could never be a player. My upbringing won’t allow me to do that.”

”Alright then, that just leaves the second method.”

”Stay here in my stream and see what real women are actually like,” Zhang Zhe said, finally revealing the idea he’d been mulling over.

”Alright, are there any ladies in the stream interested in this Brother Fu? Get on the call, it’s time for a blind date!”
