Pillar of Yita

Spatial Anchor.

He immediately cursed quietly.

The opponent knew they had entered the castle using the Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll, and must have been guarding against this. Otherwise, why would they have a Spatial Anchor scroll? This spell is tailored specifically for various spatial spells.

As a result, not only was the Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll unusable, but even the blinking ability of the Energy Angel was forbidden. Because the Energy Angel’s Magical Source still came from his Magic Guided Reactor, which was essentially part of him. He could not use the spatial transmission ability, and naturally, the Energy Angel could not take him for teleportation either.

A sound of clanging echoed, and knights cloaked in robes immediately drew their Curved Blades.

However, at this moment, a calm voice came:

”No matter about him, go rescue Miss Afeifa.”

This was Nulman’s voice.

The knights paused and immediately divided into two groups. The larger group turned around and rushed onto the rooftop. Meanwhile, Fang Hong finally had time to assess what had happened before. He more or less understood, he had fallen for a teleportation spell and been ’dragged’ here.

The opponent had left four knights to guard him.

Including Count Nulman himself and that middle-aged Arcanist.

Fang Hong stepped back, placing his hand on his Information Crystal.

But his mind was still full of uncertainty—

Most teleportation spells only support point-to-point.

For example, the Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll transmits from the casting location to a predetermined anchor point—this is coordinate oriented.

And the Energy Angel’s blink also transmits from the casting location to a certain point at a specified distance—this is distance oriented.

There is also the Teleportation Array, which transmits from one preset teleportation guide mark to another preset teleportation guide mark—this is guide mark oriented.

Eteliria’s so-called teleportation is nothing more.

However, while the target location can be preset, how exactly did the opponent determine his coordinates and direction at such a distance?

The tower standing in the sandstorm is nearly a hundred meters away. At this distance, it would be challenging for him to see clearly through the dust. Let alone the opponent, who must also determine his position amidst the intense Ether disturbance.

The four knights left behind did not act rashly. Count Nulman also maintained an indifferent and stern face.

The middle-aged Arcanist appeared somewhat anxious, glancing occasionally towards the rooftop and then back here. He seemed to want to say something, but the words were swallowed back at the last moment.

Fang Hong saw this scene and somewhat calmed down. Although his right hand, pressed against the Information Crystal, had knuckles turning pale, and his forehead was delicately soaked with cold sweat—being unclear what exactly the Arcanists had done was one thing, but that didn’t prevent him from realizing his current predicament in an instant.

First, stay calm. Fang Hong warned himself internally.

He took a gentle breath, his gaze crossing the shoulders of the four Bain Knights. In that direction, on the rooftop, when Affia discovered he had been teleported away, she couldn’t suppress a scream. But fortunately, the sandstorm obscured it, and it seemed no one could see the anxiety on this lady’s face, assuming she was merely afraid out of ordinary human emotions.

Luo Hao seemed a bit surprised too. But when this fatty saw the Bain Knights rushing onto the rooftop all at once, he reacted quickly. He glanced at Fang Hong from a distance, took several steps back, and decisively dragged Affia from the ground, fleeing far towards the direction of the ’Dawood’ Ship.

Fang Hong was somewhat dumbfounded at this scene.

They had discussed various possibilities beforehand.

Because the one left behind would certainly be the most dangerous.

Considering the worst possible situation that might occur, if those holding Affia faced any mishap, the others must not turn back, and whoever could escape should.

But during discussions, he hadn’t instructed Luo Hao to take Affia away too.

And it seemed from afar, those Bain Knights couldn’t catch up with Luo Hao...

Seeing this, a hint of surprise passed through Fang Hong’s eyes. He suddenly realized how he was targeted—it’s the spell, the Arcanists’ protection spell. This spell evidently had the effect of stabilizing the storm and suppressing atmospheric elements, thus amidst a berserk Ether, the region covered by that protection spell clearly appeared exceptionally calm and obvious.

The Arcanists used this to distinguish targets.

But what they hadn’t anticipated was that there was more than just Affia under the spell’s influence. Due to cautious consideration, Fang Hong had also experimented with the protection spell himself, and back then, he was so close to Affia that the two protective spells overlapped, making them seem like the same target to the Arcanists.

And since both Affia and he had this protection spell on them, when the Arcanists’ spell arrived, it clearly chose whoever was closer. So in that critical moment, the action of pushing Affia away was obviously the ultimate reason he was dragged to this place.

Fang Hong’s mouth gaped open in an instant.

If they had actually teleported Affia over here, wouldn’t it be a happy ending after all, since they originally didn’t plan to leave the opponent here? But who would have thought his careful action turned into a ’stroke of genius’ that led him to the predicament?

In the blink of an eye, Luo Hao had already brought Affia onto the ship.

Wu Xiaopang and several others hesitated momentarily, but noticing the Bain Knights closing in, they hurriedly pulled up the anchor chain. The ’Dawood’ Ship instantly jolted, propelled forward by the wind towards the rooftop—the whole Airship emitted a roar and then swung away by the counter force, ascending into the air.

In the blink of an eye, it became a huge shadow, flying past the rooftop.

The middle-aged Arcanist stared in dumbfounded silence.

Then he turned around with a somber face, looking at Fang Hong.

Fang Hong immediately felt something amiss. Although Affia was now with them, looking at the ’Dawood’ Ship’s situation, completing any transaction was absolutely impossible. At the very least, Fang Hong was sure the opponent wouldn’t trust him anymore—given the Airship had flown away, and the Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll had failed, staying here seemed to leave only a daring chance.

He was already contemplating resurrection in the Holy Sanctuary, unable to help a bitter taste spreading in his mouth because his Starlight was essentially depleted.

But thinking aside, with a large number of Bain Knights still on the rooftop, and only four people left in the corridor—adding Count Nulman and that middle-aged Arcanist. If there was any hope of escape, now was certainly the last chance. Once those outside returned, how could he counter ten or more Sand Knights of the same level?

Thinking of this, Fang Hong hesitated no longer, wiping his hand across the Information Crystal, a blue light already descending before him.

Those four Bain Knights had obviously anticipated the same thing. The leading knight stepped forward first, a bright blade flash slicing through the darkness of the corridor.

The Energy Angel hadn’t fully formed when the blade light passed straight through the blue phantom, slashing towards Fang Hong. Fang Hong faintly heard the middle-aged Arcanist’s slightly panicked voice: ”Leave him alive!” But he himself didn’t intend to sit and wait; although he had little close combat experience, he had been specially trained by Odin and his people.

He leaned back, blocked with Reinforced Gloves, but soon felt a tremendous force striking, sending him flying instantly.

The next moment he crashed into the wall, then fell down, feeling dizzy, seeing the system prompt ’Dark Ritual’ had entered cooldown. Fang Hong was speechless, realizing he had underestimated everyone else significantly, his so-called trained combat skills were only decent against lower-level individuals.

But facing knights of his level in earnest, it was utterly unworthy. This blow relied entirely on the ’Dark Ritual’s invulnerability effect to avoid fatal damage, otherwise, this strike from the opponent could have already ended his life.

Nonetheless, thanks to this effect, his Energy Angel had finally completed its summoning from the Information Crystal.

Fang Hong endured the pain in his right hand, raising it.

The Energy Angel blinked in a thrust motion—the Energy Angel couldn’t blink him, but it could blink itself—a silver beam pierced the knight’s back.
