Pillar of Yita

After saying the above things, Miss Hilveld then described to him the general experiences of their group over the past two months.

Because Mr. Greyrock took a different route through the Kudi Mountain Range, when Fang Hong arrived in Nevade, they were indeed still advancing west along the Kudi Mountain Range. However, that was already a month ago, and by now they had crossed the northern part of Long Lake, nearing the southern area of Fanric.

Tianlan, listening to the conversation between the two, found it somewhat boring, so she suddenly yawned beside them and said, ”I’m bored to death, Brother Ade, I’ll leave the Communication Crystal with Miss Hilveld and go find Gita to play.”

However, after speaking, she clearly winked at Fang Hong and sneakily slipped away.

So in the room, only Fang Hong and Hilveld were left on both ends of the screen for a moment. And Miss Ship’s Officer turned to glance at the departing Tianlan before turning back, looking at him with her bright eyes carrying a gentle smile, for the moment refraining from speaking first.

Fang Hong understood Tianlan’s intention.

But facing his Miss Ship’s Officer alone made him somewhat embarrassed—recalling what happened in Dulun, he blushed slightly, yet he couldn’t let Hilveld speak first, so he stammered and asked, ”Hi, Hilveld, have you been well lately...?”

If Tianlan were still here, she might faint dead away hearing these words. But Miss Ship’s Officer merely covered her mouth with a smile, then nodded gently.

”All is well,” she replied, ”just missing the Lord Captain a bit.”

The sincere confession stirred Fang Hong’s heart more than any sweet words could. His heart pounded fiercely, and he wished he could fly to her side immediately. However, gifted in thought but clumsy in speech, he could only awkwardly reply, ”Ac, actually, me too...”

”Really?” Hilveld said with slight amusement, adding, ”But I heard the Hall of Thousand Doors is a tough test. Ade must be thinking about Alchemy every day, right?”

”Hilveld knows about the Hall of Thousand Doors too?”

”I’m considered half of the Rose Family, so of course, I know about it,” Hilveld lowered her head with a soft smile, ”But not much only that very few have the chance to enter there.”

”I got in because of Odin.”

”But that’s because Ade is outstanding,” Hilveld said with a beaming smile.

Fang Hong scratched his head shyly at that.

Although Hilveld said he thinks about Alchemy every day, it was indeed true. But no matter how attractive Alchemy was to him, it couldn’t resist the fervent longing of youth—each quiet night, he often recalled that vibrant night in Dulun.

Under the fireworks, those two intersecting shadows—a scene he could never forget.

After getting started, Fang Hong found himself much more at ease. He listened to Hilveld talk about recent updates, mostly daily happenings. Miss Ship’s Officer recorded some details meticulously, and to Fang Hong, it felt as if he was experiencing it firsthand.

The Papalarians making trouble as always and Miss Atira dealing with them mercilessly made Fang Hong smile involuntarily.

As for Parker’s nature, he knew it well.

The Big Cat People remained the same. Traveling south from the north did not seem to change anything for this leisurely Paladin. But he befriended Bakins, and they occasionally sparred with each other over skills and reached a consensus on what to smoke.

And thus, formed a smoking alliance.

Xiesta still had the same demeanor, and Miss Maid always treated him with a cold face, so Hilveld only mentioned this briefly.

She then talked about Tianlan and Luo Yu—after leaving Dulun, both seemed interested in each other, but no relationship had been established yet. Fang Hong, knowing they already had mutual feelings, wasn’t surprised.

As for Luo Yu and Gita’s recent rapid level advancements, they were nearing the tenth-level barrier, the final stage for new recruits, much like he was before.

This speed in level advancement surprised Fang Hong a bit, as before leaving Dulun, Gita and Luo Yu were only about level seven.

He inquired about this and found out that the first batch of supplies from the Oak Knights had arrived—some materials for their next production and rewards for the last one—but as per the Elf Miss’s suggestion, part of it was exchanged for equivalent Experience Potions, resulting in such significant advancements.

”Miss Atira’s suggestion?”

”Actually, it was Miss Sophie’s suggestion. She helped the team strategize.”

Fang Hong was enlightened, realizing the advantages of being part of the Grand Guild. Even if others had resources, they might not convert them effectively. Well, they could, but it would cost much more. Therefore, he felt their covenant with Yugudola wasn’t entirely without benefit, and the other party had adhered to the agreement all along.

But this was also thanks to Princess Vislan’s experience. Even if he handled this matter himself, he might not have considered things more thoroughly than her.

However, Fang Hong also learned that Sophie and Xi had left the team for Fanric ahead of time, probably due to orders from the Guild. According to Hilveld, this Silver Princess Vislan had left him a message.

She said they would wait for them to join in Fanric.
