Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 862: Chapter 514: Opportunities Brought by Temporal Chaos!_3

What do you mean?

”Yeah, yeah, or maybe the grass on the tomb is three meters high.” Xu Xin in the image waved his hand.

”This guy, to prevent me from going back, never allowed those people to send my past self to the future, causing me to only be transported to a world three months later than them! They said excavating the bloodlines of giant beasts is dangerous, not allowing me to return too far into the past!” Xu Ying glared at Xu Xin in the image, and then explained.

... No wonder when he went back, Yingying was still there.

”Don’t interrupt.” Xu Xin in the image shook his head and continued explaining, ”Indeed, excavating the bloodlines of giant beasts is very dangerous. Ancient earth veins aren’t easy to excavate, like viruses that have been dormant for billions of years, toxic gases that have been sealed for billions of years, dangers abound. Fortunately, on our timeline, the excavation was also completed by some of us, so we didn’t lose too many people, only less than a hundred died.”

Less than a hundred people...

To those people, it must be really ironic.

Didn’t die in the future, but died in the past they found to be extremely beautiful.

But they were fighting for Earth’s truly beautiful future...

”Those alien lords wouldn’t personally dig such things.” Xu Ying sighed beside, ”Back then, so many of us died. No choice, even though we’ve developed new mutations and are no longer under their control, we can’t show it or escape. Because we still need their technological facilities for research, we can’t refuse their orders.”

”In any case...” Xu Xin continued, ”Various fossils containing giant beast bloodlines were excavated intact and thoroughly studied.”

”Then, we began our third step, using giant beast bloodlines to create beasts capable of fighting against alien invaders!”

Create giant beasts...?

A flash of insight crossed Xu Xin’s eyes.

Could it be, that the giant... isn’t some ancient race that exists to protect Earth, but rather...

A creature created by future people who returned to the past?!

”You must have already figured it out.” Xu Xin in the image said, ”Over these ten years, we extracted giant beast genes and created many giant beasts used to fight against alien invasions, and the remains of the giant you encountered can be said to be the strongest and most successful individual we’ve created.”

Xu Xin’s pupils vibrated.

A giant, really a man-made creature?

But... the message it left wasn’t saying that.

”Over these ten years, as our false future gradually collapsed, we became increasingly unstable ourselves. But similarly, this brought us new opportunities.”

”With a deeper understanding of space-time, we invented a more powerful time machine. We can... proactively influence the flow rate of time.”

”The technology you’re interacting with now is related to this.”

Was it really like this...

He just felt that way, those swiftly growing trees, those rapidly changing climates...

It turns out to be because... of changes in the time flow rate!

”Of course, initially, this technology wasn’t mature, we only used it to rapidly grow generation after generation of giant beasts, ultimately creating that giant, the strongest individual, the... hope left for this world.”

”To prevent it from betraying this world, we also used memory transfer devices, making it believe it has been guarding this world from ancient times to present, so it can fight to the end for this world!”

Xu Xin slowly exhaled.

He never expected that the truth would turn out to be like this.

Then what about them?

What happened to those transported to the future?

Why were they divided into batches of survivors?

Why are they still under the control of the Blood Pattern Race?

”After making all preparations, those alien invaders finally descended to invade again.”

”It was a world-shaking battle, we intercepted them before they could release mutation rays, launching interference signals, letting them believe there’s technology on this planet similar to or even surpassing theirs, preventing them from acting rashly.”

”But this situation didn’t last long, eventually, battles between giant beasts and mutated creatures began.”

”Epic battle.”

”The result is... we lost, but the plan succeeded.”

”The giants mixed their bloodlines into mountains and rivers, and the bloodlines of mutated creatures were ’polluted’ by giant beast bloodlines.”

”The giants were scattered in countless pieces across the world, and we, temporarily retreated, hiding underground.”

”By then, we already felt our remaining time was short.”

”However, before this war, we did what we should, leaving true hope for the world.”

”And that hope, is you.”
