Chapter 811: My Permanent Hobby

The Incubus System Chapter 802. My Permanent Hobby

I ignored her question and pressed on. ”If your power mixes with a bloodline that doesnʼt match, what will happen?” I asked with a sense of urgency.

”It could burn the hostʼs body from the inside,” she began. ”But as long as they take it a bit. That shouldnʼt be a problem. But if they take too much, it can lead to death,” she explained.

”I see...” Due to the different effects, it was becoming increasingly apparent that the glowing liquid injected into Jill was not a mere mixture of Purielʼs angelic power and a human bloodline—it was a perilous concoction with potentially fatal consequences.

”Are there any other effects?” I inquired once more.

”I donʼt know about the others,” she replied softly.

”Hmm…” I muttered, my thoughts racing to make sense of the fragmented information I had gathered thus far. While I had hoped for comprehensive answers, it appeared that the mysteries were far from being unraveled.

She noticed my worry. ”What happened?” she asked me.

My teasing side kicked in. I leaned in closer, my voice dripping with faux seriousness. ”Iʼm thinking about drying out your blood if you refuse to do it with me,” I declared, my tone impeccably solemn.

A gasp escaped her lips, and she clutched her own body instinctively, as though to protect herself. Her wide-eyed gaze was fixed upon me, and in a flash, she began to crawl backward, a look of sheer terror etched across her face. ”I know that you are down to the evil path!” she exclaimed.

My laughter erupted as I watched her reaction unfold before me. It was a hearty, genuine laugh that echoed through the dream realm. ”I was just kidding,” I assured her. ”A kid. I found a kid who was injected with your power since she was a newborn,” I explained, bringing the conversation back to the matter at hand.

She came closer to me again. ”A newborn? Wait, is she or is he a human?” she asked, her tone a mix of incredulity and disbelief. It was clear that the idea of a newborn human being subjected to such a heinous experiment was beyond her comprehension.

I nodded solemnly in response to her query. ”She is a human,” I confirmed.

Puriel gasped audibly. ”For goddessʼs sake… That was awful…” she muttered under her breath.

I couldnʼt help but share in her exasperation. ”Yeah,” I agreed, my bitterness evident in my tone. ”Some humans are that disgusting…”

”So, what are you going to do with her, Ethan?” she asked, her tone laden with worry. It was a question that had been lingering in the back of my mind ever since we had stumbled upon Jill.

”I want to find adoptive parents for her,” I began, my voice carrying a note of determination. ”But I donʼt know if anyone is suitable.” My concern was evident. ”She has endurance and more strength than normal people. Society might find it difficult to accept her as part of them,” I added, my words tinged with worry.

I was deep in thought and fell silent. My mind was consumed by Jillʼs friends. I couldnʼt help but wonder about the lives they now led. Were they safe? Had their circumstances improved, or had they taken a darker turn?

But after a while, I noticed Purielʼs gaze on me. Her eyes bore into mine with a strange expression, and I couldnʼt help but raise one of my eyebrows. ”What?” I asked.

She shook her head, her lips curling into a gentle smile. ”I just found out that you have a soft spot for kids,” she remarked.

A chuckle escaped my lips. ”So?” I replied. It was an undeniable truth—I did harbor a deep affection for children.

Purielʼs eyes sparkled with delight, and before I could react, she enveloped me in an unexpected hug. ”Iʼm so happy!” she exclaimed.

My mischievous side couldnʼt resist a little tease. A sly grin appeared on my lips. My hands crawled to her waist as I hugged her back. ”Since we both like children,” I began, my voice laced with a hint of mischief, ”why donʼt we make one?” I teased. Yet my voice sounded serious and full of seduction.𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Her reaction was nothing short of priceless. In an instant, she withdrew in exaggerated retreat. ”Get away from me, you horny incubus!” she exclaimed, her words a blend of mortification and exasperation.

I couldnʼt help but chuckle at her dramatic response and shook my head. A wry smile played on my lips. I had to confess that Purielʼs angelic nature often clashed with my more devilish tendencies.

ʼI should make teasing her my permanent hobby,ʼ I thought.
