Child of Destiny

Chapter 2051: One of the Three Weapon Specialists (Part 2)

...

Bang!

Right after, Gunner suddenly kicked the ground and propelled himself forward while dragging the item he had taken out from his metal box.

Roar!

During his charge, a Battle Spirit was also manifested, which took the form of a demon with multiple arms and holding a variety of weapons in each of its hands.

Along with the full utilization of his unique mana manipulation technique, a blazing mana suddenly covered his body and weapon before cleaving forward along with that glaive.

Shing!

’Weapon Master Skill (Tier 2): Thousand Strikes’

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Along with his actions, the glaive that he was wielding seemed to have transformed into multiple shadows descending from every direction and heading straight to his opponent.

Moreover, each shadow looked real, seemingly giving the impression that Leonard was being assaulted by multiple people while also attacking from every angle.

Seeing this, Leonard just smirked before welcoming the incoming attacks with open arms. He spread his arms while expanding his chest once again, inhaling deeply.

One of his feet was also raised from the ground, following his actions.

A moment later, he suddenly stomped with that foot with all his might, making the ground sink, while also releasing a powerful roar at the same time.

Boom!

’Destroyer Skill (Tier 2): Havoc Howl’

Roar!

A powerful shout was released along with a strong burst of explosion, which pushed everything away from him.

This strong bestial howl had also annihilated all the illusory figures that were trying to attack him from every angle, leaving the real body of his opponent, who was attacking from his side.

Shing!

In response, Leonard suddenly swung his war axe toward that direction, meeting his opponent’s strength with strength.

Boom!

The collision erupted in a powerful explosion, sending both sides in opposite directions.

Leonard was only forced to take several steps back while his opponent was sent further away, signifying the overwhelming difference in strength.

Raising his brows, Gunner immediately acknowledged that the difference in terms of stats was not in his favor.

”Since that is the case, then let me compensate it with my weapons,” he mumbled before extending his hand and grabbing the metal box that he set aside earlier, before throwing it into the air.

Swoosh!

Clank! Clank!

Right at the same time, the metal box opened by itself and threw out a bunch of weapons of different categories and scattered them in every part of the battlefield.

Boom!

Right after, Gunner suddenly charged ahead while also picking up all the weapons he came across in his path.

While running, he kept on tossing and catching every weapon that he got his hands on. He was juggling them in the air during his sprint.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Seeing this scene, Leonard became even more confident that this person was Gunner, the Weapon Master.

From his knowledge, among all the Transcendent Beings listed in the Transcendent List, the ones with the highest number were those from the High Human, Dragonkin, and Beastmen Races.

The Dragons had a lot of Tribes, which made their lineage quite complex. Then there were also the Beastmen, which had a lot of bloodlines by nature due to the variety of beast tribes they had.

As for High Human, they were said to have unlocked and re-awakened the potential of ancestors of the human race, which were said to be the Immortals of the Ancient Past.

Ironically, two of these Transcendent Races were the hardest to unlock, the ones under the lineage of the Dragon Tribes and High Human bloodlines.

They were the hardest to unlock due to the complexity of the quests that players needed to clear and the tough requirements that needed to be met.

As for the Transcendent Races under the Beastmen Category, they were pretty balanced. Some of them were easy to unlock and gain, while the others were hard to come by.

Among the High Human Race, seven players had already achieved this level. The first two to unlock this race were quite famous: Sword God Zero and Champion of Gods Hercules, who gained the Sword Saint and Demigod Might Classes, respectively.

There was also the third person, who was said to be the first to gain the Weapon Master Class, Ares, who was one of the rivals that Leonard had when it came to the title of War God.

Leonard won the title after the confrontation on multiple occasions, which were also in the midst of huge wars.

It was also said that Ares was a Weapon Specialist in the real world, which made him a skilled expert when it came to all kinds of weapons.

Surprisingly, the Weapon Master Class was not unique, but a more common class among all the classes under the High Humans, while Sword Saints leaned more on the rarer and more unique path.

Among the seven High Humans, three of them were Weapon Masters, who were said to have Weapon Specialist Talent in the real world.

However, despite their similarities, they also shared distinct differences.

They possessed unique styles and techniques, which made them quite distinguishable from one another.

As for the person before Leonard, Gunner was known for the huge metal box that he was always carrying, which was also the main container for his weapons.

As for his style, Arthur always dubbed this person as someone who had the crudest style, along with a few brute people he knew within the circle of experts.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

After reaching the desirable range, Gunner threw the weapons that he was jiggling in the air at Leonard, turning them into a bunch of throwing weapons.

Moreover, he had injected a huge amount of mana into these weapons, increasing the power and momentum that they had during their flight.

’Weapon Master Skill (Tier 2): Grand Arsenal’

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Seeing the weapons flying his way, Leonard raised his war axes and fists in his stance before gathering his mana toward his weapons, increasing the size of their blades.

A moment later, he started brandishing war axes, sensing a series of crimson flashes in the air that clashed against the rain of weapons pouring down at him.

’Supreme Blood Sutra: Sanguine Barrage’

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The collisions of the two sides immediately erupted in intense clashes that caused massive shockwaves in every direction.

Amid these explosions, a brave figure charged ahead and went through it while catching any weapon he could get.

Swoosh!

With this, he managed to grab a huge hammer, which seemed to have weighed a couple of hundred tons.

The veins in his arms appeared while his muscles bulged right after he tightly grabbed the handle of the battle hammer.

Boom!

Right at the same time, a heavy pressure was suddenly released from his body, pressing on everything underneath him. This pressure seemed to forcefully lock everyone in place and prevent them from going anywhere.

After that, he suddenly swung his battle hammer with all his might, producing a powerful shockwave that suddenly shot toward the ground, which seemed to be capable of crushing everything in smithereens.

’Divine Armament Method: War Hammer Style – Destroyer of the World’

Boom!

Leonard immediately recognized the power of the incoming strike, so he immediately adjusted his breathing and fixed his stance while merging his war axes to merge and turn into a much larger war axe.

He then swatted his hips, lowering his stance and center of gravity. His hands were holding the war axe, which was beside his waist and tilted toward the ground, while he was staring at his opponent.

Crackle! Crackle!

Along with the sanguine flame and crimson lightning dancing around his body and weapon, Leonard swung his weapon with all his might to match the incoming strike from his opponent.

Boom!

’Supreme Blood Sutra: Asad Method – Asura Cleave’

Boom!

While the powerful shockwave capable of destroying the world descended from high above, a crimson crescent suddenly appeared and heavily tore through the space, seemingly trying to split the sky in half.

BOOM!

The clash between the two powers immediately sent the entire trial grounds into chaos due to the thunderous explosion that it generated.

The entire place shook violently, making everyone halt their actions for a moment to stabilize their respective forms.

Whoosh!

The cloud of smoke was still in the middle of spreading everywhere when a hole suddenly appeared in it due to the dashing figure descending from the air.

Still carrying the heavy battle hammer in his hands, Gunner fell straight to Leonard, who seemed to be expecting such a move already.

Gunner swung his battle down, taking advantage of his descent to generate a much stronger force.

Swoosh!

Meanwhile, Leonard bravely faced the descending opponent while tightly holding his huge war axe. He stood his ground like a real God of War, unafraid of any adversary.

Bang!

Greeting his incoming opponent with all his power, Leonard leaped into the air while also dragging the war axe behind him.

Along with the enlarged blades of his war axe, Leonard cleaved the air alongside his opponent, who was rapidly approaching him.

Boom!

The collision caused yet another explosion, sending both sides in opposite directions.

Bang! Bang!

However, the two overlooked the damage that they had dealt to one another after that collision and started charging at each other immediately after.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Gunner continued to pick up the random weapons scattered around and throw them toward Leonard.

These weapons looked like a bunch of projectiles fired by a very powerful artillery. They headed straight to Leonard with the intention of crushing him.

Roar!

In response, Leonard split the war axes once again before swinging them toward the incoming projectiles set by his opponent, facing them head-on.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Each swing of his war axes sent the projectiles to the side, not fazing him even for a moment.

Swoosh!

Not long after, Gunner finally reached his target, brandishing a heavy glaive that he just picked up.

The timing of this attack accurately caught the opening that Leonard had created by blocking the previous projectiles.

Bang!

However, Gunner still failed to land a clean hit toward the latter due to Leonard’s quick and beastly response.

A moment later, an intense melee broke out between the two, causing massive explosions in every collision.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Both were showcasing their signature moves, which made them famous throughout the virtual world, alongside the ones that they recently created.

Gunner kept on switching his weapons without any thought. He was constantly picking up any weapons around him, which were constantly being sent back to him by his metal box.

’Divine Armament Method: Thousand Forms’

Leonard, on the other hand, kept on swinging his war axes like a demon, dancing alongside them and generating an inexhaustible force that could intimidate his opponent.
