I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 734: Chapter 22: What! Chen Is Standing at the Goal! (Part 3)

Especially when seeing Adebayor lying in front of himself, standing up with a kind of ”you’re welcome, it’s what I should do” hero-like attitude, he really wanted to say: No, I actually already got into position.

After the Spaniards completed a round of attack, Real Madrid launched another offensive.

This time, Chen Zhong got the ball and forcefully threw it, accurately finding Cristiano Ronaldo in the front field. This skill of Chen Zhong’s was an eye-opener for many.

”Real Madrid’s attack.”

”Chen Zhong gets the ball and forcefully throws it!”

”So far!”

”C. Ronaldo!”

Cristiano Ronaldo seemed somewhat unprepared. After getting the ball, the Spaniards had already retreated on defense. He could only try a powerful shot from outside the arc of the penalty area, attempting to break through the opponent’s goal.

Unfortunately, this powerful shot was blocked by an opposing defender.

Next, the referee, who could be elected the best of the first half by the Spaniards, showed off again.

When Real Madrid was about to take a corner kick, Javi Marcos clearly handled the ball with his hand while defending, but the referee didn’t call it.

At that moment, Casillas was already dressed, sitting in the stands, watching the game.

The Real Madrid players, somewhat angry, surrounded the referee in protest. Alonso even received a yellow card for his protests.

Mourinho on the sideline had a gloomy expression. It could be imagined that this referee would definitely face a bombardment after the match.

”24th minute of the match!”

”After the controversial decision by the referee, Real Madrid still managed to stabilize their mindset.”

”Despite fighting with one less player, they firmly held the initiative in the match.”

”Spanish offside, it’s a ball in favor of Real Madrid.”

”Chen Zhong sends the ball out!”

”A direct long pass!?”

The commentary sounded a bit surprised. Chen Zhong took the ball and, almost without hesitation, made a direct long pass to the front field. This time, Cristiano Ronaldo was well-prepared, stopping the ball and turning past players in one fluid motion.

The Spaniards were caught off guard by Real Madrid’s quick counterattack.

Many coaches were watching as the ball directly connected with Chen Zhong in front of the goal, deep in thought.

Far away in the Bundesliga, the German genius goalkeeper Neuer, who was watching the match during his leisure time, was particularly dazzled by Chen Zhong, feeling that Chen Zhong was ”one of us”. Neuer is a distinctive goalkeeper.

Having just become the captain of Schalke 04.

He was eager to achieve great things now.

Chen Zhong’s trajectory bore some resemblance to his own, with the previous captain leaving and then getting promoted to captain, and he wanted to learn some experience from Chen Zhong.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known to be a rather independent player, which almost everyone agrees on, but this time, the Spaniard players miscalculated.

After Cristiano Ronaldo got the ball, he did not choose to shoot or dribble himself, instead passing the ball to Marcelo.

Marcelo was like a sharp sword, striking from the side, and then from the left side of the penalty area, he made a powerful angled shot, scoring a goal.

0:1

Real Madrid took the lead with the first goal!

The Real Madrid fans in the stands chanted Marcelo’s name loudly, while also cheering for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid is currently the only team in La Liga that has won every match after scoring the first goal, and in the last 8 games where Marcelo has scored, Real Madrid has also secured victories.

Without a doubt, this was a very good sign.

Mourinho on the sidelines couldn’t help but smile, even pumping his fists slightly in celebration.

After scoring, Marcelo ran to the corner flag area, dancing a comical jig with his hips in front of the flag.

When Cristiano Ronaldo ran over, he was also smiling and started dancing along, shaking his hips.

No one knew when it started, but their relationship had improved unexpectedly.
