I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 703: Chapter 8: What’s Wrong With Us!_2

Has Almeria committed a grave sin?

When you played against Barcelona, your attacking intent didn’t seem as strong!

And what’s with you waving your hand to call for the ball?

You played against Barcelona like that as well, right?

Not only the players of Real Madrid, but even the players of Almeria looked bewildered.

What’s wrong with us?

Did we really commit a grave sin?

We just want to get a point at home, a draw, is it so difficult for us?

Yes, all of Almeria’s fighting spirit was for a draw, for one point in the league.

But now, this idea has been shattered.

They’ve lost their fighting spirit too.

No way, no way!

You don’t expect Almeria, without Negredo, to pull off an upset, do you?

Real Madrid is unbeatable in La Liga right now!

”Real Madrid’s attack.”

”Kaka with the ball.”

”On the left, passes back.”

”To Alonso.”

”Alonso with a chip.”

”C. Ronaldo beats the offside trap!”

”Cutback!”

”Chen Zhong!”

Almeria hasn’t recovered from the first goal yet, and Real Madrid’s attack surges forward again. The transformed Real Madrid is evidently more aggressive up front.

Alonso’s chip is the crowning touch.

Cristiano Ronaldo beats the offside trap, and when he intends to shoot, he catches sight of Chen Zhong ahead, indicating for the ball.

After a moment’s hesitation, Diego Alves, who moved crab-walk fashion to face Cristiano Ronaldo’s shot, suddenly appeared terrified.

Because the ”Lone Wolf,” who seldom passes, especially in such shooting opportunities, actually passed!

In the center, Chen Zhong calmly taps in the ball fed by Cristiano Ronaldo with his right foot.

0:2

Real Madrid scores again.

Chen Zhong nets a brace.

After scoring, Chen Zhong scratched his head in slight frustration, baffling the Almeria players.

You did score!

You didn’t miss! What’s this situation!

Though the Almeria players didn’t get it, Real Madrid’s fans understood Chen Zhong well.

”Look, look!”

”This is our Real Madrid captain, with the makings of a king.”

”They constantly push themselves and won’t get carried away by one or two goals.”

The Messi fans and Barcelona supporters watching this match also had their own insights.

”Too selfish, too selfish!”

”He’s sacrificing the team to boost his goal stats.”

After scoring, Chen Zhong ran to the corner flag for a simple celebration, feeling quite frustrated for scoring with his right foot again.

Sometimes.

Habits can be daunting; you instinctively shoot.

And with the right foot! I should have used the left.

On the sidelines, Mourinho raised an eyebrow, looking at Francisco: ”Chen is very active in this game, really wants to score!”

”Yeah! Yeah!” Francisco looked at Mourinho, cautiously suggesting: ”Maybe let Chen play as a center forward?”

”That’s not a good idea.” Mourinho was briefly tempted but quickly shook his head: ”But who can play Chen’s position?”

Chen Zhong, in Mourinho’s mind, is an all-powerful warrior.

He can play defender, midfielder, and also forward.

But Mourinho wouldn’t let Chen Zhong play as a defender or forward, as any position would waste his other abilities; an attacking midfielder fits him perfectly.

Offense, organization, defense, all can utilize his talents.

It maximizes Chen Zhong’s abilities.

Real Madrid’s consecutive goals also changed the mentality of Almeria players.

In the 57th minute, Uche fouled Cristiano Ronaldo, getting a yellow card, sparking some disputes between the players, but it quickly calmed down.

This is a free kick on the left, Alonso stands over it.

”Alonso to take this free kick?”

”Looks like it won’t be a direct shot.”

”Chen Zhong and C. Ronaldo are both in the penalty area.”

”Alonso passes the ball!”

This is a left-sided free kick, Alonso stood over the ball, glancing at his teammates, then signaled an agreed gesture.

The ball arcs down towards Almeria’s penalty area.

Almeria’s players strive to stop Real Madrid’s players, but with little effect.

Finally, a man wearing the number 10 jersey rises above the crowd.

”Pass!”

”Chen Zhong!”

”Diving header!”

”He seems to fly up!”

Chen Zhong muscled past Almeria players and made a diving header.

The ball connected with his head and accelerated like a rocket towards the goal.

Diego Alves obviously wasn’t ready; he stretched out his hand, trying to intercept the ball, but it was already too late, entering the goal.

0:3

Hat trick!

Chen Zhong!

”The flying Chinese!”

”0:3”

”Chen Zhong completes a hat trick!”

”No one can stop him!”

”That’s his 16th league goal this season!”

”In just this one game, he scored 3 goals, completing a hat trick.”

”It’s like the unstoppable man from last season is back.”

Chen Zhong climbed up from the ground, feeling complicated; on one hand, he was excited about the hat trick, but on the other, it wasn’t with the weak foot, which was frustrating.

Weak Foot, why is it so hard?

Cristiano Ronaldo came over, looking somewhat resentful at Chen Zhong’s expression, seemingly saying, ”Bro, what’s happening today! Can you let me score too?”

Chen Zhong read his expression, patting the Portuguese’s back, embraced him and said: ”I’ll pass to you later.”

”Wo~” On the sidelines, Mourinho, witnessing Chen Zhong’s spectacular performance, was astonished, looking at Francisco, thinking maybe having Chen Zhong as a center forward wasn’t a difficult decision to accept.

The game continued.

After leading by 3 goals, Almeria had no desire left, their greatest wish was not to concede too many goals, hopefully even scoring one.

Unfortunately, scoring seemed impossible.

After all, they couldn’t even get past midfield easily.

In the 66th minute, after attracting Almeria players’ attention, Chen Zhong passed the ball to Alonso, who then passed it forward, and Cristiano Ronaldo drove into the penalty area.

Diego Alves adjusted his steps, facing Cristiano Ronaldo’s shot, seemed possessed by a god and blocked the ball with his foot.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked somewhat displeased at Diego Alves.

What do you mean!

You block my shot, but when Chen shoots, everything goes in!

Almeria’s defense turned increasingly rough, almost everyone retreated to their own half, even the forwards came back.

Their belief was firm: do not let Real Madrid score a fourth goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s multiple shot attempts were blocked by Diego Alves or Almeria players.

Mourinho, seeing this scene, decided to substitute Benzema for Cristiano Ronaldo in the 85th minute, and in the 88th minute, when Chen Zhong was fouled by Almeria’s players and fell to the ground, Mourinho chose to substitute Parejo for Chen Zhong.

This was for protecting the team’s key players.

Now they’re winning by three goals; there’s no need to continue.

As Chen Zhong came off, he received warm applause from the Real Madrid fans and loud boos from the away fans.

Chen Zhong didn’t care much about this.

Just a bit regretful; he was one small goal short of completing special training, not knowing how it would be judged.
