I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 710: Chapter 12: Five-Star Weak Foot, Farewell, Target

[Judging in progress...]

[Weak foot completes 80 successful passes (achieved), weak foot completes 4 assists or 4 goals (completed).]

[Special training: Weak foot (upgraded)]

At the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Chen Zhong led his teammates around the field, thanking the fans who came to support them. In this match, Mallorca’s staunch defense didn’t create much confusion for Real Madrid.

With three Ballon d’Or winners in Real Madrid, just a flash of brilliance from any one of them is enough to deliver a heavy blow to Mallorca.

After this match, Chen Zhong was also satisfied to upgrade his weak foot to 5 stars, which means that there is no difference in using his left or right foot; the only question is which one Chen Zhong wants to use, which one he is accustomed to using.

A player with balanced feet is a lethal weapon on the field, especially when that player’s name is Chen Zhong.

After completing the post-match acknowledgments with his teammates, Chen Zhong did a brief interview and then left.

He didn’t pay attention to Mourinho’s comments after the game, though Valdano might have a bit of a headache.

”What’s the next thing to improve?” After dinner and an ice bath, Chen Zhong lay on the bed and began contemplating the next goal for special training.

After a brief selection process, he set his sights on the Golden Badge for [Shooting], [Heavy Cannon].

[Badge: Heavy Cannon (Gold)]

[Badge Description: Greatly enhances the speed and accuracy when taking powerful shots.]

[Trait: Super Violent Long Shot Level 1]

[Trait Description: Having trained with the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo for a long time, you subconsciously mastered his once-famous Super Violent Long Shot in the Premier League.]

The new system is different from before; apart from the inherent bonuses provided by the badge, it also has trait effects.

It’s like a normal attack, where you could only increase force or sharpness, but now you can add ”elemental” attacks like sparks and lightning.

And what comes with the [Heavy Cannon] badge is [Super Violent Long Shot Level 1].

The LV1 means it can be upgraded.

”Foot speed and accuracy...”

”Super Violent Long Shot...”

Chen Zhong contemplated the bonus brought by the badge, which simply means you can better keep the ball down.

The challenge in blasting a heavy shot is whether you can keep control while shooting, preventing it from hitting the stands and having a ”beautiful encounter” with some lucky fan.

The badge can help you to a certain extent.

Traits...

Whether there are other traits, Chen Zhong didn’t know, but this Super Violent Long Shot, a trait obtained from Cristiano Ronaldo, can give Chen Zhong’s shot more power, accompanied by the characteristics of Cristiano Ronaldo’s shot, which is ”violent.”

If measured by speed, a common metric visible in TV replays, for heavy cannon shots.

Chen Zhong’s heavy cannon shot clocks around 140-150 km/h, and if he puts in a full effort with a run-up, it is roughly 160-170 km/h. After acquiring Super Violent Long Shot during training, Chen Zhong achieved a career peak of 180 km/h.

This data far surpasses Carlos.

However, such statistics haven’t reached the pinnacle. It’s said that in the distant Portuguese Primeira Liga, a Brazilian player named Givanildo Vieira de Souza emerged, nicknamed: ”Hulk.” Due to the popularity of Marvel’s superhero movies, some called him the ”Green Giant” or ”Hulk.”

His full-force heavy cannon shot could exceed 200 km/h.

Some say, Hulk is Chen Zhong at the front line. During his time at Porto, this ”unbelievably strong” monster had won the Portuguese Primeira Liga’s best player twice, along with a Golden Boot. People guessed his transition to one of the five major leagues was a matter of time. Many wondered, when Hulk and Chen Zhong meet, which of these monsters will be superior?

”Super Violent Long Shot!”

”That’s the one!”

After hesitating for a while, Chen Zhong decided to enhance his strengths and make his long shots more intimidating.

This also aligns with Mourinho’s tactical intent.

Cristiano Ronaldo penetrating the box, Chen Zhong organizing and shooting from the outside, Kaka searching for opportunities like a shadow, and as for the center forward?

Naturally, to assist the three Ballon d’Or winners!

Currently, Real Madrid is engaged in increasingly intense discussions about the center forward.

Despite Mourinho leading the team to victory over Mallorca, boosting his influence with a streak of wins.

In fact, he indeed accomplished that.

However, Real Madrid’s hope to bring in Van Nistelrooy is becoming increasingly bleak. Hamburg Club firmly refused to release him, with the club’s chairman Hoffman clearly stating: ”We once again, and for the last time, declined Real Madrid. After consultation with other players and club advisors, everyone believes we’re fighting for the Champions League spot, so contemplating Van Nistelrooy’s departure is impossible.”

This directly led to Mourinho’s ”takeover” being incomplete.

The original complete scenario was Mourinho finalizing the introduction of Van Nistelrooy, then Benzema supported by Valdano being sidelined. However, with Van Nistelrooy’s transfer almost confirmed failing, Real Madrid’s higher-ups also came forward to clearly express their stance.
